"What a special 50th wedding anniversary present to ourselves!!! Accommodations couldn't have been lovelier. We were able to sit on our balcony and listen to the waterfalls from the pool - very romantic and soothing! We loved the beach and the pool areas as well as the shops and casino. It was absolutely a perfect stay and we might have to celebrate the anniversary of our anniversary next year!"

  • Great Vacation!!

"This is our first time renting from Al and our first time in Aruba. Our family of 2 toddlers, 2 parents and a nanny had a wonderful stay at the Surf Club. The rooms were exactly as described and seen in the photos – clean and quite large which was important to us with the little ones. We also benefited from the nearby Supermarket and kitchen in the unit as we kept the little ones on their regular diet. Al was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We’ll be back soon."

  • Just a great place.

"What can I say about this property on Palm Beach other than it was just what we wanted. The owner, Janet, is great to deal with. She will reply quickly and help you with information any way she can. The home has anything you need. Full kitchen, all rooms have AC, washer, beach toys, beach shoes, beach towels, boogie boards, parking for the car but if you don't want to rent a car, no problem because you are just walking distance to the Ritz and Marriott areas where you can walk to restaurants, shopping, bars, clubs, whatever you want to do in this beautiful island. We had dinner at two great restaurants, pricey but you get5 what you pay for and we loved them. Barefoot is one of them, this is fine dining but right on the beach, your table will be on the sand overlooking the water and the yachts that dock right there in the shore. We also went to Pinchos Bar Grill, near the cruise line area, this little gem is right on the water...you walk down a little pier that leads you into the restaurant. Be careful with items that fall down, as they can go through the cracks of the floor and bye, bye for ever... We took one whole day to explore Arikok National Park, where you find caves, the natural pool, they even have a little pond that has the fish that like to eat your cuticles. Google that and you will see that a pedicure with those fishes is EXPENSIVE and they have them, in a little pond that is in the main cave that has the indian drawings (it is the only cave that has the original drawings). You will see goats all over and donkeys all over because this island was used once for cattle farming or something of the sort. Let's talk about the people of Aruba, OMG, can they be any nicer? I am calling it the Canada of the south. lol If you need directions, just ask anyone, they are always happy to help and will lead you in the right direction. They all pretty much speak at least 3 to 4 languages... Dutch, English, Spanish and the main island language. It is such an amazing place and we can't wait to plan our next trip and rent Janet's home again. Thank you Janet, your place is amazing and we truly enjoyed our stay there. One happy house in One happy island."

  • Loved the surf club!!!

"First of all I would not hesitate to book with Robin and Arubawego. It was my first time booking through VRBO and it was a great experience. She responded right away to my emails and when Southwest moved our flight to a day ahead she was very helpful in getting us into the Surf Club in another 2 bedroom for an additional day so that we didn't need to switch rooms. I received all email confirmations promptly and it was a smooth experience. The surf club is now my favorite place on the island. Yes it is large but we loved the many pools and especially the lazy river!! It isn't on the best stretch of beach as the water is cloudy from all the boats. But it's still warm and we spent time lounging in our rafts we brought with us. There was often rafts people left near the elevators to use but we did bring our own. The pools were our favorite and my nieces favorite as well! The drinks are not strong at the swim up bar and are expensive. Happy hour prices 2/$15. Ask the bartenders to make some of their specialty non frozen drinks and you may get slightly more alcohol in them. The unit was on the 7th floor and we had a great central view of the pools and ocean! It was updated and clean and very spacious! We loved having coffee on our balcony. Of course always love the full kitchen! Close enough to walk to shops and tons of restaurants. Felt safe at night. We will return to the Surf Club through Robin again! Thank you Robin!!"
