  • Casuarina has it all...and then some!

"We just got back from one week at the Casuarina Beach House and I have to say it was everything I expected and then some! This is the 4th time I research/find/book a house in the Caribbean for our group of 11-17 friends and family (depending on the year) and this house was a huge hit! It was more beautiful than the pictures and had everything you may want and need. This year, we were a group of 13 (10 adults, 3 kids) ranging in ages 5 to 73 and there was something for everyone! The entire lot is glorious - beautifully manicured and well-maintained, on a beautiful beach that feels like a private get-away (we saw maybe 5 people walking the beach the entire week we were there), outdoor showers, kayaks, bikes, 2 grills, two hammocks, equipment for snorkeling, and enough spaces to be together as a group OR to have quiet time on your own... And Matthew, who serves as caretaker/house manager along with his wife Barbara, was stellar and helped whenever we needed it. Prior to arriving at the house Elaine provided information on golf cart booking, references for boat rentals and chef, as well as an overview of Abaco, Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay - which was incredibly helpful. I went with all her recommendations and for the most part they worked out...with two exceptions. I booked Chef Rolle for 4 dinners and I tripled confirmed the price beforehand via email. When we got there, the price I was quoted was 'incorrect' and it went up by 4X! We paid $500 for 1 night for chicken, steamed vegetables and rice...he didn't even provide dessert! It was frustrating but we made the best of it. We decided to have him for the one night only and cancel the others. The other booking that went awry was with Captain Mark. I had been communicating with him via email since February and had (I thought) confirmed at least 3X, including the Thursday before we arrived (on Sat!!!). I emailed the captain on Sunday nite with a few questions and expected to hear back from him by the next day but didn't. I finally called him in the afternoon and he claimed to have gotten another job because I hadn't reached out. It was incredibly frustrating because I thought the prior 5 emails had served as confirmations. Anyway - Matthew came to the rescue and saved the day... He was able to book another boat for almost the same tour! It was amazing and I was incredibly grateful. Overall our time at Casuarina Beach House was amazing...we all would go back in a heart beat!"

  • Perfect Abaco Retreat.

"Our family has been visiting to Treasure Beach area and other Abaco Islands for years. We have rented condos in that same complex before and enjoyed the location and amenities of the area. When we walked in the condo it was apparent that Chopper and Delana have spent a lot of time making their vacation home perfect for all that visit. The kitchen was a pleasure to see and all the notes and instructions for the stay where very helpful. We have already told many of our boating friends that we have found the perfect place in Treasure. Delana and Chopper where very helpful with a stateside issue we had during our stay, the Internet phone was priceless during our issue. Great owners. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home."

  • Perfect Property

"In 2017, we are heading to this wonderful villa for our third time. Each two week stay remains our highlight of the year, and we do not even consider searching for a different property. The owners are responsive and thoughtful, so when we ran into a medical problem prior to one visit, they worked with us to be sure we could still make our trip. The villa itself is clean, bright, well-maintained and with all the necessary amenities for "at home" living. The beautiful short walk to the beach, and the clean, pool are two wonderful options on any day. The grounds are well manicured and lovely to view from the many windows. The stores and most restaurants are within walking distance, and we have no trouble finding whatever we need. We are grateful to have located this rental property, which we intend to visit for many years!"

  • Great Place to get Engaged!

"Mariners Cove is a perfect place for a couple to get away. We flew into Marsh Harbor, rented a car for the weekend and had a great time exploring the quaint island. I proposed to my now fiance' shortly after checking in and strolling across the street to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The very fine sand with the crystal water backdrop was a perfect place to pop the big question. She had to say yes! Few suggestions for to-be visitors: grab a bottle (or 2) of Ole Nassau rum at the liquor store just off the resort property on your way in. Have dinner at "Touch of Class" only if you want some traditional bahamian food cooked by locals with a reasonable price tag (they will pick you up). Rent a boat early if you want to get on the water (all boats were booked in late July when we visited) or do some island hopping with Ossie on Prozac. Great Trip to explore a few out islands. Don't eat too many sticky buns from Florence's Bakery (we also loved the breakfast sandwiches). Take a walk on the beach early in the morning while it's flat calm. Lastly - Book your stay at this property! Perfect location to enjoy Treasure Cay and a beautiful spot in the Abacos."
