  • If I could give this experience more stars, I would!

"We stayed at Girasole over the Christmas and New Years holiday and it was hands-down the BEST family vacation EVER!!! This house, that view and the incredible beach - do not disappoint!! Peter's hospitality was top-notch - he gave us our privacy, but was always close by when we needed him. The village of Treasure Cay is safe, fun and so accessible by golf-cart - it has everything you need for your stay … a grocery store, a liquor store, a bank, novelty shops, bars and restaurants. I can not wait to return to this house for another family vacation!!! If Evelyn, comes knocking on your door, to cater a meal for you … take her up on it!! Fantastic cook, plentiful in servings, enough to eat for 2 days!! LOVE THIS VACAY!!!"

  • Gorgeous and Comfortable!

"We just wrapped up a one week stay at the Casuarina Beach House and can't say enough wonderful things about it! First, Elaine and Michael were just wonderful to work with. They arranged for everything we needed - and Elaine was kind enough to do a bit of shopping ahead of time for us because we were arriving on Easter and the grocery store would be closed. They also arranged for the golf cart we needed for the week and it was waiting for us once we got to the house. To top it off - they put us in contact with Freeland, the kind driver/chef who picked us up from the airport and took us to the house! The house was perfect - and everything is just as it is described. The views from almost every room were spectacular. The bathrooms are convenient and are en-suite except for one, which didn't pose a problem for our family of 5. The kitchen is well-appointed. Everything you could possibly need to cook, bake, and grill is ready for use. We even found a juicer under one of the cabinets! There is a reasonable spice selection available as well. There are enough plates, cups, bowls, glasses, mugs, and wine glasses for 20+! There is also a large selection of beach-friendly plastic cups and such for when you want to bring your drinks down to the water. (Yes, there's a blender as well!) The beach is just gorgeous. There are 4 kayaks and paddles available for use. There are a bunch of lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach. The lounge chairs were plastic and a bit hard for lounging, but we borrowed the padded cushions from the lounge chairs around the pool and then just moved them back to the pool when we were done with them each day - no big deal at all. The pool was great - a nice change of pace for the kids to switch it up between the sea and the pool. There are more pool toys available than one could possibly use at once, but it was great for the kids to have a selection. There's also a small bathroom out by the beach/pool so you don't have to traipse back into the house with the little ones. It was great. Michael and Elaine recommended we contact Captain Mark Carroll for our snorkeling trip and they were spot on with the recommendation! He was fantastic and knew all of the good spots to take our family. The adventure included seeing an island full of wild pigs, snorkeling, shelling, lunch at a beautiful marina, and swimming/feeding the sting rays. It was a beautiful day! Amazing vacation! You won't be disappointed!"

  • Wonderful and Relaxing

"The location of this property cannot be beat! The villa is nicely furnished and outfitted and is larger then most. The owners are easy to work with and respond to any questions or concerns within hours. Definitely a 10 out of 10! Clearly the Bigham's care about their property and that guests/renters have a positive experience in every way!"

  • Comfortable, but needs an update

"My wife and I stayed three nights in the villa. It's location is ideal, being just across the road from a supermarket and close to the beach. The most important element to me above all else is the bed, and I found it to be very comfy. The A/C kept the place cool and the kitchen is very well stocked. If there is any criticism to be made it's that the decor needs some updating. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are original builders quality from the 80's and the simulated butcher block Formica counter top is very dated. But like I said, we had a good time and were comfortable, so we were happy campers."
