  • Sweet Little Loft

"Hubby and I just spent 5 nights in Hopetown, at the Sail Loft. Such a sweet little place to stay! Marcia and Barry greeted us upon arrival and were available to answer any questions, or just to chat. The private entrance leads to a small landing with room for a few chairs. Upon entering the loft, your eye is drawn to the doorway and small balcony off the bedroom, with a lovely view of the swaying palms and blue water. While the apartment itself is small, it has everything you need. The slanted roof line did not present an issue for us. It's a short walk to the beach, docks, restaurants, and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment we spent in Hopetown, and we are already looking forward to our next visit!"

  • Beautiful new home!!

"What a FABULOUS rental!! Perfect location in town(no golf cart necessary), perfect views of the lighthouse and harbor and sunsets, high-end finishes and furnishings, super comfortable beds and luxurious linens, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen that made this self-proclaimed Southern "chef" happy. All the comforts of home....but in Paradise!!! Add to this the hospitality and super-responsiveness of the property manager Karen (the BEST!!) and you've got the perfect vacation. Oh! And did I mention everything, and I mean EVERYTHING (beach, grocery, restaurants) are all just a few minutes stroll away??!! This is a no-brainer... THIS IS THE PLACE TO BOOK!"

  • Hats off to the Abacos!!!

"My Wife and I visited Hope Town 20 years ago on our Honeymoon. We always wanted to get back. The crowd has grown some since then and it took 20 years, but it was well worth the wait! The house was prefect, the weather was great, and everyone had a great time island hopping. The power seems to go out on the island quite often. I would have never thought to ask about a generator. But thank goodness we had a generator. We stayed for two week and the power went off 5 or 6 times. We were not even aware on most occasions that the power was out, other than if you went outside you would barely hear the generator running out there. Our house keepers, they were great people, gave us a list of things to do on the island, and gave us the heads up about many other events and goings on that we should try to make and they even stopped in from time to time to check on us. I big THANK YOU to them for being so hospitable! The vacation would not have been same without you! Lastly, over and above anything I have every experience! A big thanks to everyone! We were leaving had everything pack and ready to go. The house keepers picked us up timely, made the trip over in the ferry, got to the airport and realized we had forgotten a bag. It was the snorkeling equipment for the 7 of us! I thought it was gone forever! We had 90 minutes until our flight was going to leave and there was no way we were going to get the stuff back, chalk it up to my own fault for forgetting the bag. There was just not enough time. But wait! The person behind the counter for Delta heard us talking, approached us and said no worries, we can get that for you. Well she tried to call the care takers on the island. The power was out and the phones were down! It is lost forever. Hold on! She went outside talked to a cab driver and told her to pick up this bag at the ferry dock, it would be on the next ferry! I just smiled. What was about to happen was amazing. The cab driver radioed a head to the ferry dock told them of the problem. The ferry docked radioed across the bay to VBRO. VBRO radioed the care taker, who went back to the house, got the bag and got it to the ferry on time. The ferry captain gave the bag to cab driver who dropped it off at the airport and the Delta person found us in the airport and handed us the bag with a smile on her face. All with 15 minutes to spare! Absolutely amazing! I had nothing to say! That doesn’t happen anywhere other than in the ABACOS!"

  • Simply Magical!

"I honestly can't say enough about Oceanview House. The location, the beach, the privacy of the grounds, the house itself... spectacular from start to finish! We rented with two other families - 5 adults, 5 kids (aged 7-10) - and it was absolutely perfect for us. All of the kids slept in the bunk bed room, while the adults enjoyed their own rooms, each with an ensuite! There are so many places to see in the world, that it is rare for me to want to go back to something that I've already experienced, but I would go back to Hope Town and Oceanview House again and again."
