  • Great Place for Couples or Families

"My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this house in June 2016, and we would ABSOLUTELY go back! The grounds are beautiful and make you feel very secluded. It is in a very quiet section of the island, but it is very close to Hope Town, a convenience store, and several restaurants. You will practically have the beach in front of the house to yourselves, and having "On Da Beach" next door was much more of an amenity than an issue - nice to have good, relatively inexpensive (for the Bahamas) food and drinks right next door, plus they close down around 7 p.m.! You can't beat having breakfast overlooking the ocean and sitting on the back deck at night to see a million stars! The main house is divided into LR/DR/K/MBR in larger unit, with a double bed and single bed plus bath unit across the breezeway. Small cottage on the grounds sleeps at least 2 more. It was just the two of us on this visit, but we could easily see bringing the whole family plus a couple of friends, and everyone would be quite comfortable and have some private space. The owner and property managers were excellent and very responsive. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience!"

  • OUTSTANDING!

"We just returned from a fabulous week at Conched Out. Our expectations of the house were far exceeded by the house itself. The house is terrific(with lots of space), the pool was like having another room as we convened there every afternoon and evening, and the dock was great for our boats and for afternoon snorkeling! We enjoyed the evening sunsets from the pool deck. I fell in love with Elbow Cay and Abaco. Don, Wilma and Sherman were all very, very helpful to us before and during the stay! We will be back to Conched Out as soon as possible!!!"

  • Ya Mon!

"Bahama Breeze has been our home away from home on Elbow Cay for the last 6 years. It is well equipped and comfortable with ice cold A/C, ceiling fans in each room, back up electric generator, outdoor shower, gas grill, large outdoor decks front and rear, and an included golf cart. The ocean views off of the rear deck are amazing offering beautiful sunrises, breezy afternoons, and jaw dropping star gazing at night. The white sand beach is just steps away from the rear deck. The front deck is great for sunsets, beverages, and grilling our fresh catch. The central location is very convenient offering easy access to the grocery and liquor stores, fresh baked Bahamian bread (YUM!), and is only minutes by golf cart from downtown shopping and restaurants, Tahiti Beach, and local sunset restaurants / bars. The White Sound Public Dock is also close allowing easy access to our rental boat. We are grateful for the Callahan family for sharing their home with us and allowing us the perfect location to enjoy our active family lifestyle and making memories with our children."

  • Best front porch in Hope Town!

"We just returned from a great stay at Sam's Cottage - it was perfect for us. It is very clean and comfortable and looks just like the photos. The front porch is the best for hanging out, reading and just watching the boats come and go, and there's always a breeze. We rented a boat for our week, and the dock at Sam's Cottage was a luxury - just a few steps away. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the house is right in the middle of Hope Town (which we love), so if you are looking for seclusion, this may not be for you. There is some noise/music from Capt'n Jacks, a fun restaurant just a few steps away (the conch fritters are a must), and a couple of nights a week the music goes late. All in all, we loved it and will be back. Cudos to Paul and Sharyn for keeping such a nice rental home."
