  • Perfect- center of adorable town, cute, clean.

"We LOVED this house. It's decorated with love, unlike corporately owned rentals. It's clean and cute and functional. The family room is comfortable with chairs and sofa facing each other (and a big nice TV on one wall), so it's great for socializing or reading privately. We loved the location, right in the middle of peaceful, quaint, wonderful Hope Town. You can't find a lovelier destination in the Bahamas, in our opinion. Very friendly locals, lovely water and sand, charming homes, colors, flowers. Also, noteworthy, we didn't feel the need for a golf cart like most visitors, not at all. We just walked. Be aware that the island is short on water (very little rain), so no laundry facilities in the home. I'm not sure what folks do who stay longer, but we managed. There may be a laundromat a short walk away. The house slept 5 perfectly, with 3 children in the cute upstairs. It could sleep 4 or even 5 upstairs, too; (but be aware that the upstairs space is open and shared). The neighbors were super friendly and have lived on the island for many (9?) generations in that house!! We'd choose Merlee's again without looking at other options. It was perfect."

  • It was wonderful! Better than we could've expected!

"The property is beautiful .And the accommodations are so comfortable & clean. The hosts , Neil & Phylis are so welcoming & helpful. Phylis makes the most delicious & beautiful breakfasts that we ate on their deck while admireing the Sea of Abaco. We loved it!"

  • Perfect location for total relaxation

"My husband and I spent a totally relaxing week at Blue Moon Cottage. We have previously stayed in town but loved being on the South End at Blue Moon. Close to Abaco Inn and SeaSpray which we visited at least once daily for dinner (mostly take out) or cocktails. We spent many nights listening to music on the covered porch just soaking in the sights and sounds as the sun went down and loving every minute. Although there are houses close by you still have the feel of being in your own little world. If you can't relax here - You can't relax anywhere. We had frequent visits from a hummingbird, resident cat Phantom as well as some Island dogs coming to check out what we were having for dinner. Having the private dock close by was key to our trip as we had rented a boat from Island Marine and didn't have to deal with worrying about a spot at a public dock."

  • Perfect for entertaining!

"We stayed at Hill Top for a week in mid March for a week long family vacation. We really liked the house and how expansive it is for entertaining (we had 8 adults and 2 babies for dinner). There were 4 adults and one baby that stayed the week and it was so lovely! The pictures don’t do justice to the grounds as the plants are lush and and we felt secluded even though we were close to other homes. The pool was cool but refreshing and the top of the tower overlooks the entire island and a great place to read and relax. The owners have included good appliances, utensils, pots/pans, plenty of towels and many extras to make you feel at home. The location is close to the management company and the ferry if needed. Also very close to the beach and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property."
