  • Wonderful!!!!!!!!!

"We stayed at Lil Gecko for a week for our 37th anniversary and could not have been happier with our choice. Great place for 2 people stay. Close to the settlement but secluded enough to feel free of the surroundings. The outdoor shower is fantastic when returning from the beach to shower off. The kitchen has all the necessary cooking items you need, the open floor plan gives it a spacious feel to it, and the crows nest is wonderful to watch the sunrise and sunset. Jim & Kathy where great to work with in making the arrangements and responded quickly to all our questions we had before leaving on our trip, Gina was also very helpful during our stay. If you ever travel to Great Guana Cay and are looking for a great place to stay check out Li'l Gecko."

  • A+ Trip

"Hello Ben, We had a tremendous time celebrating our 25th anniversary on Guana Cay at Dolphin Lookout. What a unique place. We can't wait to return. We would like to share some of our favorite things about our trip: +Coffee every morning on the Adirondack chairs under "perfectly placed" palm trees overlooking the ocean and Scotland Bay. +Sunsets every evening from the dock on the Sea of Abaco. "Bob" the barracuda seemed to enjoy hanging out under the dock just before sunset. +Caysera Beach. The whitest sand and clearest water that we have ever seen. Our beach umbrella was the only umbrella on the beach. Our footprints were the only footprints in the sand. +The cool pathways from Dolphin Lookout to the ocean and bay. +The Views! "WOW" +We had a great time kayaking around the dock and in Scotland Bay. +The golf cart rides to and from the cottage added an additional sense of adventure to the trip. +Good fresh fish at Kidds Cove in the settlement on the harbor. We actually watched the boat come into the harbor with the catch of the day. We had to wait until the fish were cleaned, but the dinner was well worth the wait(grouper and wahu). +Good dinner at Fishtails on the harbor. Neat sports bar atmosphere. +Sunsets at Graebbers. +Dolphin Lookout cottage was good in every way. We don't know anything we would change. +Gina & Ronald, Caretakers. Gina met us at the dock upon our arrival and had our golf cart ready for us. We simply loaded our bags and were off. Gina and Ronald did a great job. +The Knowles taxi service in Marsh Harbour(Joe & Susan). Per the recommendation provided in your guide, we called Joe and let him know our flight information. When we arrived, he was waiting for us at Marsh Harbour Airport. Joe's wife Susan greeted us with a hug. Joe took us to Maxwells for shopping and then returned an hour later to take us to the ferry. He kept our bags while we shopped. Only charged $25. We called Joe the day before our departure and let him know our flight information. Susan met our ferry at the dock and took us back to the airport. Only charged $15. +Orchid Bay. Gated community. We felt very safe. We are already thinking of our return trip. Thanks again, Doug and Becky"

  • Wonderful cottage!

"Beachwalk Cottage is absolutely awesome. We recently stayed for a week in May and could not have be more pleased with our choice of rental homes. Colorful, bright and vibrant, Beachwalk Cottage has plenty of living space and the bedrooms are roomy. Although we only ate in a couple times, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The dining room table and the cool bar provided ample seating. Perfect location in the settlement near everything that is Guana. Nippers, Grabbers, Dive Guana, Grocery store, Kidds Cover, main dock etc. are all within a few steps of the cottage. And it sits directly on Chere B Lane which is only a few steps to one of the best beaches in the Abacos. World class snorkeling is right off the beach and the house even had some snorkeling gear to use until we got our rentals at Dive Guana! The screened front porch is perfect for morning coffee and watching the locals and other vacationers pass by on their merry way. The people and visitors of Guana Cay are some of the friendliest you will ever meet and the front porch is a good place to interact or just people watch. There are even a couple very nice local cats who stopped by everyday for a taste of tuna purchased from the little convenience store around the corner. The owners and caretakers are very nice and easy to deal with and are very responsive. Plenty of beach towels so don't load down your suitcases! Beachwalk Cottage is perfect for a family or group of friends looking to experience the best of Guana Cay."

  • well-appointed gem

"We have stayed many times on GGC and enjoyed this house due to its spaciousness and open living/dining/kitchen area; it is especially well set up for a family, with its 3 bedrooms and 2 baths; the outdoor spaces are great (large) and allow for guests to enjoy some quiet time; lastly, the location is perfect! the expansive front lawn leads directly to the best beach on the island! Clark was very easy to work with, and was accommodating when we had to cut our time short by one day"
