  • Paradise!!!

"Your property was gorgeous with A glimpse of a blue heaven . The house was very well-equipped with all the amenities and then some. Your pictures don't do it justice I felt like I was in a small town on a tropical island where my children were safe . We were sad to leave. Planning on next trip also the owner of the house was very accommodating and so with Marilyn"

  • Spectacular property!

"Nicole and Larry were great hosts. We were met on their docks and they had everything ready for us including the golf carts we rented. Our house had a amazing view of the beach/ocean (30 feet from our house) and it was only a short walk (maybe 200 feet) to the bay where we docked our boat. We snorkeled the amazing reef about 70 yard off our beach - and saw all sorts of coral and tropical fish (the reef was incredible and huge - it went forever). Also, we speared 5 lobsters just off their beach on our first day! Nicole and Larry helped us find a fishing/spear fishing guide that helped us catch plenty of strawberry/mutton groupers, yellowtails and lobsters. Larry told us where to conch and the kids had a great time diving down for conch. The houses were clean, fully equipped and comfortably decorated. We cooked a lot (of our catch!) and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the food. Beds were comfortable. Only problem was that the dishwasher broke and they couldn't repair it during our stay - Nicole and Larry bought us plenty of paper plates, etc. so we wouldn't need to wash dishes. There is a wifi house that works well. Its a 5 minute golf cart ride to Green Turtle club (good restaurant and bar) and 10- 15 minutes to New Plymouth (more restaurants, grocery, bars etc). Green Turtle is a great choice for the Abacos because you can fly in to Treasure Cay airport and its a 5 minute ferry to Green turtle. It is not very crowded and you can really feel like you are getting away. Also because its more isolated, the fishing/lobstering is plentiful. We had friends staying in the house next to ours. We truly enjoyed the property and the accommodations. It is a really special place."

  • White Sound Winner

"This is one of the nicer properties in which we’ve stayed on Green Turtle Cay. There was lots of privacy with each of 3 large bedrooms having it’s own en suite bath. The pool was sparkling, a godsend as we traveled in the hottest part of the summer. Lots of comfortable outdoor furniture drew us to poolside as well as to the huge screened porch. The pool, oversized pool deck and porch all faced White Sound and Bluff House marina with its constant activity. The ultra-high wooden ceilings make the living areas seem twice as big as they are. The kitchen was well-appointed, particularly a wide variety of great cookware. We weren’t a huge group but with 2 stoves, one gas and the other electric, there would be few problems with feeding a crowd. Fishermen will enjoy the many ice chests and standing freezer in the utility area. Access to one of GTC’s beautiful beaches is just over a hill (warning - a very steep hill); about 50-60 yards. Restaurant choices are limited to the Bluff House and The Tranquil Turtle. A golf cart or boat can get you to the Green Turtle Club and Brendal’s Dive Shop, both on the north end of the island. One drawback is that the location is far from New Plymouth. Once GTC repairs their roads, it will be less of a problem to get into town for supplies, access to other restaurants, bars etc. If you have a boat rental, no problem!"
