  • Thanks to Plum Crazy

"We stayed next door to Plum Crazy, but the owner of PC was so helpful to us, I just wanted to give him and his wonderful house a shout out. Best spot on the bay and the house is fantastic. The calm waters of Coco Bay made it simple to keep our boat tied up and a short run to catch all the lobster and fish you could ever want. Thanks to the great advice of the owner, we got in touch with his friend, Marcus Jones, who put us right on the best spots with no hassle and no drama. Thanks again to the great people at Plum Crazy!"

  • Beautiful cottage just steps away from the Ocean

"Nice and comfortably furnished cottage with a wooden porch. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 small child and enjoyed our stay very much. It is fully furnished with a big kitchen, perfect for cooking. The rooms are spacious with a warm athmosphere. The house is situated just steps away from two beaches, the beautiful ocean coast and the much calmer coco bay beach. Getting around by the golf cart was easy and comfortable (except for the sometimes really bumpy roads). The service from the office (Jennifer) was over standard, very helpful and accomodating. We would recommend for families, couples, group of friends. Loved our stay, thank you for everything, Jennifer! :-)"

  • A Dream Vacation!

"My husband and I stayed at Turtle Dreams for a week in late March and just can't explain how magical this home and this island are! The home is simply beautiful with so much room to spread out and so many different levels to view amazing Coco Bay as well as the ocean view side! The peace and quite that we experienced there is something I will not forget - ever. I wanted to see the island and yet I found it hard to leave the house! The beauty of the island can't be explained - you must see it to fully feel it and understand how special it is. We walked the path (so close!) to Coco Bay on one day the the ocean path (just as close) the next - both breath-taking beaches. We are from Florida and have been to almost every beautiful beach in the state so we know a gem when we wee one! We were coming back one night from Harvey's (heavenly Grouper sandwiches) and the full moon had just started to rise over the ocean - beauty beyond words. We stopped and sat in the cart for about thirty minutes knowing that it would be a long time before we ever saw anything like this again- ever! The island feels so safe and we never worried about anything the entire time we were there. The people are so sweet and helpful - wonderful!!! We loved the cart rides on the sandy roads - so much fun! I fell in love with my roosters - smiled every morning when I hear them. Mary Lowe is an absolute darling and made us feel totally at home and got us all set up - wonderful gal. We fished with Ricky Sawyer and caught Bonefish - had an absolute blast and Ricky is just the coolest guy you could want to meet. I can't imagine how our week could have been any better. The house was so much more than we expected and so is the island. The final few days (when we thought we had seen everything) we made it over to Gilium Bay to do some snorkeling - the most beautiful water I have ever seen in my life! Anyway, can you tell we are going back!!!??? Don't miss this one - opportunity of a lifetime. When you return home to your routine you will find that you have a much clearer picture if what life is supposed to be and you can make some adjustments. Ha!!!"

  • a little piece of paradise

"We've been to the Abacos a number of times, but this was our first time to GTC. We arranged our vacation dates specifically so we could stay here. The view is absolutely amazing and you have a great, quiet beach right there. We rented a boat and went around to a number of the other cays, but would often return back home in the afternoon as nothing really beat our own beach. I can't say enough about the view and the solitude. We visited Lowe Art Gallery just down the road, saw his art, and heard about GTC in earlier days, which was neat. It's only about 7-10 minutes to walk to town, though I don't recommend it when it's hot. The dock is about a 3 minute walk from the house in Black Sound. The wifi worked great. I didn't have a phone, but Tricia was very responsive to email for any questions. The only limits are that the AC is only units in the bedroom. The breeze was great and we didn't miss it during the day, but there was a loud frog, so we wanted to close up at night and the unit struggled to cool the bedroom. I wonder how it would be when it gets hot in the summer months."
