  • Hidden Paradise!

"Gone Bananas was the perfect choice. The house is decorated beautifully and is very comfortable. Patti and Dave have thought of everything to make this rental feel like a home. The house is very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was filled with top notch pots, pans, dishes, utinsils and much more. There Is a small cooler, beach towels and even a large beach bag to carry them in. Dave and Patti are so knowledgeable about the area and shared lots of tips and suggestions before our trip via email. They met us at our boat to help bring our luggage and food to the house. It felt like we were coming home to family. After a quick tour of the house and yard which is full of lush tropical plants and lined with beautiful conch shells, they left us to begin our week stay. They explained they were close by if we needed anything. The Wi-Fi worked great, we downloaded an App before arriving that allowed us to call and text our children via Wi-Fi free. Lubbers Quarter Cay residents were very friendly and welcoming. The house is located in the middle between the dock and the marina and an easy 5 min walk to both. The golf cart was great to explore island and carry our items for the day to the boat or beach. Every evening after dinner we walked to the marina to see the sea turtles, then to the dock for the sunset! The dock was also a great place to fish. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and we will definitely return."

  • Perfect home, perfect location!

"We recently traveled to Elbow Cay and had the pleasure of finding the Dreamsicle. Jamie (the caretaker) was right on time to help us settle in. The house was in a perfect location, on the quieter side of the island, and very close to the most beautiful beach (Tahiti beach). I think you definitely need a golf cart due to it's distance from downtown. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, from beach towels to kitchen utensils. Wifi was reliable. The power did go out a few times one night, but it was out on the whole island and the Dreamsicle usually has a generator for backup (it was being fixed while we were there). Everything was super clean and tidy. We really felt like we were in our own home and can't wait to make a trip back! Cindi was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend a stay at the Dreamsicle!!"

  • Quiet getaway with lots to explore within easy boating distance

"Dorothy was incredibly helpful with local information prior to our trip, which we really appreciated. Per her recommendation, we rented a boat from Conch Pearl which worked out great (David Albury picked us up in Marsh Harbor in the boat we rented, so it could not have been more convenient). Everything about the house was as described or better (photos don't do the views justice). We had a lovely time and the experience was just wonderful -- lots of snorkeling and day trips to Elbow Cay, Lubbers Quarters and Great Guana Cay."
