  • Family Trip!

"Bob & Judy, Thank you for letting us use your home! Our group where 37-40 age range and had an infant. They do not provide baby stuff so you need to bring your own. They are kid friendly and if anyone is handicap, there's a bedroom downstairs with two twin beds that's fully accessible. The bathroom downstairs will not fit a wheelchair. The staircase is steep. All the pictures posted are accurate. It's great that you can use Island Seas Resort next door, minus their shuttle services. You can also book excursions as well. Port Lucaya has some fantastic dining! Shopping is your typical tourist stuff, nothing outstanding. Taxis are expensive! I recommend renting a car if you want to do a lot of activities. We didn't rent one but still went to a few places using the taxis next door. We laid low this trip instead of planning things every day. The public beach across from Port Lucaya was great! It's next to Memories Resort and you could book activities right on the beach and didn't have to be a guest at the resort (parasailing, wave runners, banana boats) and a bar on the beach! I recommend the glass bottom boat for snorkeling ( booked it at Island Seas), so much fun! They don't provide any alcohol/food though. We provided our own and you can use their cooler. Solomon's grocery store is on the expensive side, but expected. There's a liquor store right next to it. The only drawbacks were that we found a few roaches, the refrigerator didn't work very well, upstairs shower in the master didn't work, and the housekeeper doesn't come to clean until after you've checked out. I did reach out to Catherine and she sent someone to check the refrigerator out, the shower, and we killed the roaches with some spray we found. The housekeeping fee is $100 cash upon arrival. I do understand that they need to get paid for cleaning but I expected to see them at least every other day or two, which wasn't the case. We didn't let these few things get in the way of our vacation though! We had fun, very relaxing! Beach is very swimmable. Good for snorkeling and beach combing. Low tide isn't until mid to late afternoon. You should check out the beach bar down the beach(to the left as you walk downstairs to the beach). They have food, great drinks, and great music. All in all, we had a great vacation and would like to visit the island again! Catherine is fantastic! Thank you again!"

"We have just returned from the beautiful Bahamas and would highly recommend staying in this property. A very quiet building made it perfect for rest and relaxation and had all the amenities conveniently in one spot. The pool is lovely as is the beach. Do not miss the sunrise from the beach. Photos of the condo are accurate and it is very comfortable spot. Solomon's grocery store is a short bus ride away for $1.25 each way. For a bit extra they will often bring you right to your door if you have a large grocery order. Tourism is the largest industry and you will find the people very helpful and friendly. Bahamians always great you as they pass on the street with a good morning or a Y'all right? If you are looking to travel the island, talk to one of the taxi drivers. Often they will charge a per head rate and take you where you wanted to go.There were several ideas on pamphlets of things that were available to do and any number of . Any questions were answered promptly by the owner. Definitely going to rent this glorious space again!"

  • Spring Break in the Bahamas

"We loved our stay at Coral Beach Hotel! We have a 4yo and a 7yo and the condo was great for us. We would have preferred two bathrooms, but it was easy to make it work with just the 1 and we did have 2 sinks which was a nice bonus. We had all the kitchen items we needed and the closet is full of bags, snorkel gear, hats and other fun items for use. The beach towels were nice and large. We enjoyed going to sleep with the breezes and sounds of the ocean just out our window and the views were wonderful! We did the kayak trip thru the mangroves and the paradise cove snorkel trip and the Wednesday evening fish fry. We loved it all. Mark, the owner was very helpful with the information and recommendations. He even called once just to check in with us. The other residents of the condo building were very welcoming as well. Thanks for having us!"
