  • Awesome stay!

"We had a GREAT stay on Staniel Cay...five nights with our family of four, including two teenagers ages 16 and 18. Plenty to do and plenty of time for relaxing as well. Great house and we enjoyed our own house and having meals there as a change to the one restaurant (and a second open only certain days and times) on the island. We had some issues with a/c, direct tv and wifi, but owner was MORE than attentive to all the needs! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

  • Great comfortable place

"We booked this place 4 months in advance. James was very helpful since day one of booking. All communications prior visit were via email. Week before our visit, James reminded us of our flight time and that he will meet us at the airport. We rented a golf cart from James as well. Upon arrival, James met us at the airport and had a golf cart ready for us to follow him to the cottage. Believe me, James is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The cottage is very close to the airport. The cottage is very spacious, clean and fully equipped including wifi which was "very important to our teenage son". This place is not a hotel but a home away from home. Fully air conditioned or you can just leave the door open and let the breeze in. Place is very quiet and relaxing. Patio surrounds west side of the house has a great view of sunrise and airplane take offs and landings. Golf cart was very convenient and fun to explore the island. During our stay, James was always available and helpful with any questions we had and he constantly check to make sure that we were comfortable. On our departure, James stayed with us until we boarded our flight. I highly recommend this cottage in Staniel Cay. We look forward coming back. We love Staniel Cay!"

  • A Special Trip Provided By Special People

"We spent 10 days in the Exumas on Windward in March. From the second we boarded Windward and met Ian and Lynn we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. Windward is kept in tiptop condition. By showing us how to follow some simple practices, the cockpit and cabin are kept free of salt and the dampness that goes with it. Lynn is an amazing cook, no wait, chef! From the Portuguese breakfast, plantain muffins, gourmet salads, curry dishes and 5 star fresh fish dinners, it just doesn't get any better. Ian took us to fantastic snorkeling locations where the water clarity was truly amazing and the fish swam right into your mask. The highlight was on our last snorkel, where we had the chance to see a huge lobster, the tail could have fed a family of six, but it was safe in the land and sea park. Even when we had high, high winds that had us anchored in one spot for a few days, we had a great time playing games, reading, hiking and conversing with two wonderful people. We used one of those days to hire a water taxi and rental car to get to George Town so that we could go to the world famous Chat and Chill beach bar and meet some of Ian and Lynn's sailing friends, they were all wonderful and we had a great day. We went on this trip looking to experience the beauty of the Exumas and came away with that and much, much more."

  • Family trip to Staniel

"Beautiful home with more than enough space for my family of 6! The owners were nice and made sure we connected with the caretakers who were very helpful! I suggest renting a golf cart if you plan to spend a lot of time at the Yacht Club."
