  • Beautiful cottage in perfect location!

"I honestly don't think I've could have picked a better vacation home to stay in while in Exuma! The cottage sits on a beautiful hill with an incredible view of Rosemary's garden and the harbor. The pictures really don't do these views any justice, you really just have to go and see for yourself! The house is spotless and spacious enough for a couple. It has everything you need from kitchen utensils to beach chairs! There is even a washer/dryer room outside which came in handy. Nobody wants to bring a suitcase home full of dirty clothes. We thought staying in Georgetown was a perfect central location to everything. The cottage is very close to the fish fry (maybe a minute drive) We ate at Shirley's 4-5 times being that it was so close and convenient. Plus delicious food! I would suggest renting a car while visiting the island unless you want to stay in the immediate area of the cottage but you would be very limited on what you can see. There is a beautiful beach at the bottom of the hill with crystal clear water and good snorkeling! There are grocery stores within a 5 minute drive of the cottage. I would suggest bringing any snacks/food you like with you because food on the island is EXPENSIVE! We tried to at least make our own breakfasts at the house. Rosemary will help you with whatever you need and gives great advice on things to see and do. Don't feel funny to go over and knock on her door to say hello. She likes visitors! We spent a couple of hours with her one night and had a lovely time chatting about our lives! She also has a lovely cat named Pookie who is super friendly! We felt like we've come home with a new friend! We are already talking about visiting next year and would definitely stay at Halcyon again! No questions asked. You will not find beaches and water anywhere like in Exuma!"

  • Beautiful Accommodations

"We had a wonderful week at Belle Mer. The home is beautiful, prettiest one on this stretch of Tar Bay. Kitchen was well stocked and ready to go for us to cook in every night. They installed a new grill while we were there. Toys for the beach included snorkeling gear, kayaks and floats. the owners had lots of recommendations for local restaurants, grocery and liquor stores and shopping. Very easy beach walking and the sand was nice and cool. The water is about twenty five steps from the deck of the house and is so blue and beautiful it is hard to describe. Bring bug spray for the "no see 'ems" at dusk."

  • Nice little apartment

"Nice room, nice view right on the water. There was a what looks like a paddle boat imbedded in the beach. This spoil the beach view. The good thing is we were able to walk the one mile Long Beach front everyday and had the beach to ourselves not at our own beach front. The owner couple was very nice, bought us some groceries since it was a holiday when we arrived. They even made a cake for my husband's birthday which was very nice touch to our trip."

  • Great at February Point

"The layout of this property at February Point was ideal for our family of 5. Our 3 teenagers had the bottom level which has 2 master bedrooms, and the 3 master is on the 3rd floor. The living area and kitchen are on the 2nd floor and was comfortable for us. The views from this house are gorgeous. We loved the location and February Point has everything you need. The restaurant on the property was nice for lunch or dinner. Our boat captain picked us up at the dock on February Point and dropped us off there. You can use the paddle boards on the beach. We didn't spend much time at February Point but the location worked well for us. There is ongoing construction at February Point as the long term plan for the resort calls for a large expansion. So the only negative was the beeping of the work cranes starting at 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Otherwise, this is a fabulous place."
