"We have just returned from the beautiful Bahamas and would highly recommend staying in this property. A very quiet building made it perfect for rest and relaxation and had all the amenities conveniently in one spot. The pool is lovely as is the beach. Do not miss the sunrise from the beach. Photos of the condo are accurate and it is very comfortable spot. Solomon's grocery store is a short bus ride away for $1.25 each way. For a bit extra they will often bring you right to your door if you have a large grocery order. Tourism is the largest industry and you will find the people very helpful and friendly. Bahamians always great you as they pass on the street with a good morning or a Y'all right? If you are looking to travel the island, talk to one of the taxi drivers. Often they will charge a per head rate and take you where you wanted to go.There were several ideas on pamphlets of things that were available to do and any number of . Any questions were answered promptly by the owner. Definitely going to rent this glorious space again!"

  • Almost There!

"I have been on Man O' War several times but have never stayed the night. It's a very quiet place. You can get away from all of the craziness going on around the world. I have 2 boys, 12 and 8, and when they ask what are we going to do on the island? I said nothing! You get one week of just total relaxation. You can swim in the ocean, you can snorkel or just chill on the beach. You can explore the island by foot or golf cart. there are no distractions, no traffic to deal with, no stress. It is a great place to forget about everything and just relax. I had planned on staying in this cottage earlier this year but had some family issues and could not go. I thought for sure that I would lose some percentage of what I had paid. And I was fine with that. When i emailed Mathew to let him know the situation, he said no problem. Just pick another week. No extra charge, no rebooking fee, nothing. I was astonished as we had to cancel only a few days before the trip. Needless to say, I have rebooked our trip. This boys are excited about going (again). I wanted to go ahead and write this review, even though I haven't stayed there yet, to just say thanks to Matthew for being so understanding and accommodating. I will update this review once we stay in the cottage and let everyone know what it is like."

  • Great location . beautiful beach

"couldn't ask for a more perfect spot. beautiful sugar sand beach on a shallow bay and very few people around. Took Kayaks and a picnic basket out to the sandbar that pops up at low tide and collected shells. has to be one of the friendliest places I have ever been to ."

  • Just arrived home from a fantastic family vacation!!

"Myself, husband, and 2 teens had a great vacation staying at Paradise Palm.I really liked the location, being the end Villa. It was very quiet and private. The A/C worked perfectly, the showers were nice and hot and great water pressure.I could only get Wifi sitting outside on the front or in the chair by the front window. The location of the resort was ideal for running into Exuma Market (grocery store),The Fish Fry,and Jolly Hall Beach. DO NOT miss out on this gorgeous beach! Just a short 5 minute walk from the Villa, such a beautiful spot.We rented a boat from Minn's for 2 days.I recommend a boat rental for at least 2 days. After 1 day ,we were anxious for day 2 ,exploring again. You really need a car rental for this island. We rented from Thompsons, without a hitch. There was a large cooler in the Villa for us the take water, beer, and snacks on the boat. Both days we did stop at Chat N Chill for a frozen drink and a meal.We loved it! We had a great meal at Latitudes at the Exuma Beach Resort as well. Rachel was very easy to communicate with and we will definitely stay here again when taking our next trip to Great Exuma."
