  • Hats off to the Abacos!!!

"My Wife and I visited Hope Town 20 years ago on our Honeymoon. We always wanted to get back. The crowd has grown some since then and it took 20 years, but it was well worth the wait! The house was prefect, the weather was great, and everyone had a great time island hopping. The power seems to go out on the island quite often. I would have never thought to ask about a generator. But thank goodness we had a generator. We stayed for two week and the power went off 5 or 6 times. We were not even aware on most occasions that the power was out, other than if you went outside you would barely hear the generator running out there. Our house keepers, they were great people, gave us a list of things to do on the island, and gave us the heads up about many other events and goings on that we should try to make and they even stopped in from time to time to check on us. I big THANK YOU to them for being so hospitable! The vacation would not have been same without you! Lastly, over and above anything I have every experience! A big thanks to everyone! We were leaving had everything pack and ready to go. The house keepers picked us up timely, made the trip over in the ferry, got to the airport and realized we had forgotten a bag. It was the snorkeling equipment for the 7 of us! I thought it was gone forever! We had 90 minutes until our flight was going to leave and there was no way we were going to get the stuff back, chalk it up to my own fault for forgetting the bag. There was just not enough time. But wait! The person behind the counter for Delta heard us talking, approached us and said no worries, we can get that for you. Well she tried to call the care takers on the island. The power was out and the phones were down! It is lost forever. Hold on! She went outside talked to a cab driver and told her to pick up this bag at the ferry dock, it would be on the next ferry! I just smiled. What was about to happen was amazing. The cab driver radioed a head to the ferry dock told them of the problem. The ferry docked radioed across the bay to VBRO. VBRO radioed the care taker, who went back to the house, got the bag and got it to the ferry on time. The ferry captain gave the bag to cab driver who dropped it off at the airport and the Delta person found us in the airport and handed us the bag with a smile on her face. All with 15 minutes to spare! Absolutely amazing! I had nothing to say! That doesn’t happen anywhere other than in the ABACOS!"

  • Perfect for entertaining!

"We stayed at Hill Top for a week in mid March for a week long family vacation. We really liked the house and how expansive it is for entertaining (we had 8 adults and 2 babies for dinner). There were 4 adults and one baby that stayed the week and it was so lovely! The pictures don’t do justice to the grounds as the plants are lush and and we felt secluded even though we were close to other homes. The pool was cool but refreshing and the top of the tower overlooks the entire island and a great place to read and relax. The owners have included good appliances, utensils, pots/pans, plenty of towels and many extras to make you feel at home. The location is close to the management company and the ferry if needed. Also very close to the beach and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property."

  • The Most Beautiful, Idyllic Home!!

"Words cannot adequately express how truly wonderful Bob and Josee's home is; from the spacious, three cottage layout, the magnificent pool, to the spectacular vistas (Sea of Abaco; abundant stars at night), my wife and I could not possibly imagine a nicer setting to enjoy a week in the Abacos with our family. We've stayed at Four Seasons properties, Ritz Carlton, Penisula, etc., but having just experienced what Dreams End Too provides, we would hands down state that this experience surpasses those easily. There was simply nothing that wasn't handsomely provided; every detail, every amenity, every need was thought through meticulously and lovingly - a place where one could truly relax and enjoy a wonderful surrounding without "noise" or having to worry about anything. We had easy access to local restaurants (Orchid Bay, Grabbers, Nippers, etc.), beautiful beaches, and nearby coral heads (we went to snorkel at Fowl Cay several times by boat; easy access). There was more than enough to keep a family with two teenage boys busy with plenty of uptime and downtime. The internet service (wifi) in the home is very good, which really eliminated the need to use expensive cellular service (to the extent one needs to check email...). There is a VOIP phone to call the US free of charge. Our evenings were spent basically hanging out and watching the Rio Olympics, which we had via satellite in HD. The house and its surroundings are ably looked after by "Doc" and Maria who couldn't have been more courteous or hospitable. I'm not sure which I'm going to miss more: the unbelievably comfortable sleep each night (on the softest sheets on the planet), the quiet evenings stargazing, or the solitude and quiet contentment we four enjoyed together each day, unplugged and at peace. We will most certainly be back! I cannot recommend Dreams End Too highly enough. You will find Bob and Josee incredibly responsive and attentive, rest assured. A pleasure and a privilege to share their home. Thank you!! John & Cindy G."

  • An ideal spot to stay while enjoying and exploring the Abacos.

"A really lovely, very comfortable two-bedroom cottage right on the water. Each bedroom has it's own attached full bath. The back porch overlooking the sea of Abaco is at least as beautiful as in the photos-you can swim just off the porch if you like. Christopher Baker has anticipated most all the needs a visitor might have. Central air conditioning is most appreciated after a day out on the beach or boating and makes for a great nights sleep. The kitchen has all the appliances/pots/pans/utensils you'll need; we cooked at home more nights than we ate out. The boat dock is convenient-steps away from the front door of the cottage, right across the road. Highly recommend renting both a boat and a car. Also-try a snorkel or scuba trip from Dive Abaco and some off-shore fishing (we had a great experience with Ira Key in Hopetown - A Salt Weapon Sport Fishing Charters). Excellent communications-Christopher checks in to make sure everything is OK without being the least bit intrusive. On The Rocks will be our first choice on any return visit. Thanks Christopher-"
