  • Heaven on Earth

"This was our third year in a row going to Spanish Wells and there is no other place I have ever been that comes close for relaxing and unwinding - beautiful beaches and wonderful people!! This was my first year at Kiss a Fish and it was absolutely awesome!! The house is well equipped , spotless and the location is second to none. My wife and I sat on the deck for hours each night listening to the waves and staring at a sky full of stars that you simply don’t get in Boston. In fact neither of us or our three kids even turned on the TV for the whole week we were there. My kids are 18, 16 & 12 and again none of them even turned the TV on once!!! The beach side of Spanish Wells is by far the place to be, but the size of the beach varies street by street and Kiss a Fish is in a great location where the beach is large during both high and low tide. I don’t really have words to describe how much we love Spanish Wells and I have gotten to know the small island well and I don’t think there is a better house to rent than Kiss a Fish. As always, I booked for next year before I left the Island. p.s. don’t share this with too many people as we don’t want share this secret paradise with too many people…"

  • Coral Beach - Perfect

"My family stayed in this condo for a month and had an awesome time. Staff were friendly, property felt safe, other owners/visitors and guests were very nice. Property was well maintained, restaurant/bar and special events were great. Beach cannot get any closer and was clean, fun and great for children. Port Lucaya is close enough for kids to walk and a perfect place for restaurants, souvenirs and dancing on weekends. Our condo was spacious, clean (TY Delores), well equipped and we were promptly tended to if we had questions or other (TY again Delores and Lucy). Only recommendation, if extended stay, consider a car rental, bus is an option but not reliable and island has SO many places to see."

  • Awesome, modern, secluded beach house

"This place was the perfect getaway for a family of four who wanted a quiet, secluded place to stay with a beach and coral reef right out the back door. The spacious house is quite modern with air conditioning, electricity, and hot water. There is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, and two smaller bedrooms with queen size beds. There are two large bathrooms, and a washing machine. The furniture is new and is in great condition, and the kitchen is equipped with everything one needs. There are three inflatable rafts for fun in the water, four sets of snorkeling gear (we brought our own though) and a single person sit-on-top kayak and paddle. The back porch is where we spent most of our time relaxing and watching the ocean. The little bay (Cutlass Bay) is fairly well protected but the ocean was still pretty rough (whitecaps) and, at least for the week of June 25-July 2 2016, too rough for kids' first snorkeling experience as they kept getting water in the snorkels. But the more experienced adult snorkeler among us went out every day, twice a day. The visibility was fair to excellent - worse in the afternoon when the surface water heats up and the phytoplankton get thick and turn the water green - but further out from the bay the visibility was consistently good to excellent. There is little boat traffic within the bay so no need for a dive flag. There are large swaths of dead coral, and the coral bleaching is pretty bad where the coral is very shallow, but there is new coral growing, including brain coral, staghorn coral, lots of sea fans and gorgonians, lots of sponges, and while there were few large schools of fish, the diversity was good - we identified over 60 species of fish in our short week there, plus there were many sea turtles although most were too shy to let a snorkeler approach. Interestingly and unfortunately, no moray eels. We drove to Greenwood Resort for lunch one day but discovered they weren't serving, so we drove to Fernandez Bay Resort twice - they have outstanding food and a self-serve bar that is on the honor system - but they are pretty expensive. Lunch for four cost $80 one day and $120 another day. The bay there is on the leeward side of the island and the water was calm enough for the kids to snorkel and swim safely. Issy and Yvonne were great and got us a car rental for much cheaper than one could get anywhere else. Groceries for four people ran around $300 for the week, including wine and beer."

  • Family Celebration of 30th Anniversary

"Wow! What a wonderful week my family recently experienced at Treasure Cay. Sugar Shack was the icing on the cake. Elegantly furnished but most comfortable and perfectly located literally a few steps from the beach. Bahama Beach Club amenities were abundant. I can't say anymore-it was just perfect. Highly recommend. Steve Charleston, SC"
