  • AMAZING!!!

"If I could give 10 stars I would. The location of this property was stunning. You can literally drop a rock of the balcony and you'd hit the ocean. Sea turtles can be easily spotted swimming all around. Miami Beach is a 5 min walk away. Food, bar...etc literally an additional 5 min away. There were 7 of us total, 4 girls and 3 guys and everyone was very pleased with everything. The owner Sam And Stefanie were more than accommodating and made for an easy trip. They hooked us up with SUP Boards and a Longboard through the local shops that were waiting at the house upon arrival. They also made recommendations on where to go and also hooked us up with a local guy for transportation to wherever we needed to go. This is an unforgettable house and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I can't say enough about this place. For those of you that are planning to stay here...You are in for a treat! Can't wait to visit again! Hopefully sometime sooner than later."

  • Perfectly suited for our golf and beach vacation!

"My wife and I, her sister and husband stayed at the villa for the last two weeks of January 2017. We wanted to stay at Rockley Golf Course so that we could play golf every morning before headed to the beach or sites. This location suited us perfectly. The patio faces the fifth fairway, about 250 yards off the tee. This meant we could stop and grab a refreshment almost exactly half way through a nine hole round. The community pool is just across the street. We had a car rented for our stay, but it would certainly be a close walk to the grocery store or the beach. There is public transport very close, for access to the rest of the island as well. The accommodations worked out nicely for us. As we were two couples, there was a spare bedroom that we only used for storing our luggage. The furniture was comfortable enough and all of the appliances and fixtures functioned properly. The cleanliness of the villa was not quite up to my sister-in-laws standards so she spent a bit of time cleaning. This was not a real concern to me. A little more attention to detail by the cleaning staff is all that is required and I had this discussion with the owner. I will certainly try to rent this accommodation on my next trip to Barbados."

  • Beautiful place to escape to in January!

"We were blessed to spend 8 days at Cheron & Walwen's beautiful home. They are the perfect hosts. We chose to rent the car. We were greeted by a friendly taxi at the airport that stopped at a local minimart to allow us to stock our kitchen for breakfast. Upon arrival at the apartment, we were in awe of the beauty. The apartment is just as the pictures online portray. It was good to have a taxi for first initial drive. The roads are a bit primitive and we were not accustomed to driving on the wrong side yet. Google maps was our friend that helped most of the time and played tricks on us once in awhile. The apartment location was wonderful for us. The surf was not too rough during the week we were there, we swam almost everyday, using beach towels provided to us. When the wind finally kicked up, it was fantastic to watch the kite surfing galore. The rustic neighborhood was full of friendly people. Not one person was rude in Barbados during our stay. We were able to walk to a mini mart for a few things, but drove to the supermarket chain for more substantial items to accompany our Fish dinners (fresh fish bought at the Oistins Fish Market a couple miles down the road). The kitchen has all the cookware and such you need. Cheron shared the Bajan way of cooking fish and even left a meal with us one evening while we were out sightseeing. Our activities included a snorkel trip, lunches out, a drive around the Country, a visit with a Potter in his pottery shop, the Animal Preserve, visits to many beaches, lots of relaxation, lots of sunshine and early morning runs ending with a morning swim. The apartment was a perfect location for my husband and I. If you want to stay away from the crowded resort areas, I strongly recommend the Coconut Walk Apartment!"
