  • A fantastic villa

"A fantastic villa, very well equipped and comfortable; it feels more like a home than a holiday rental. The outside space really makes the villa, it’s very private with plenty of comfortable furniture. The pool is a good size for a villa pool and was well maintained and lovely and warm. The villa is in a great location, it’s a short walk to both Gibbs and Mullins beaches. Gibbs is an idyllic Caribbean beach, lovely and peaceful with no facilities. Mullins has a lively beach bar, sun loungers for hire and a range of water sports. You don’t need a car if you don’t wish to hire one. There are 4 restaurants within walking distance and it’s easy to get to Holetown and Speighstown by bus where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. There are also loads of taxis. The villa has a phone that you can use for local calls making it easy to make restaurant reservations and to order taxis. We hired a car in our second week which was great for exploring the island. We would recommend hiring the sat nav too, even with this it’s quite easy to get lost! Gwen was great to deal with and provided a lot of information about Barbados and the local area. The people who look after the villa in Barbados are lovely. Marcel was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around the villa. We didn’t have any problems during our stay but Marcel and Candace both kept in contact, without being intrusive, to make sure we had a great stay. We would have no reservations about recommending Gibbs Breeze and would definitely stay there again."

  • Very close to the beach, lovely Bajan hospitality

"We had a great time at Spindrift. We loved seeing monkeys in the front yard, walking to the beach, and sitting outside. The villa is very well thought out, and we all had space. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked at least one meal a day at the house. We loved having the outdoor tap to rinse our feet of sand, and the long clothesline outside so we could dry our bathing suits. We ended up not using the air conditioning in all of the bedrooms each night as the ceiling fans were sufficient. There is a bit of road noise in the master bedroom, so we preferred the other rooms. Janeta, the housekeeper was extremely kind and helpful. She even guided us to the grocery store and to a restaurant, and helped us park our car! Enjoy being in Barbados, and be sure to check out the vans that sell food in the streets (there was one not far from the beach, just up a side street each morning). We loved eating Bajan breakfast food."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"Wonderful stay at this property, the photos don't lie, the rooms are great with a very nice style. The views from the deck are amazing and a complete sun trap so the evenings are perfect in that spot! The person who looks after the property and cooks the meals was the real highlight! So kind and a fantastic chef!"
