  • Great new villa, amazing location, perfect island.

"We stayed for 6 nights in February 2017. The villa is newly built and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen has a large fridge freezer and a range style gas cooker. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very effective and the fan in the living area kept the house cool. The pool onsite is quite a bit bigger than the pictures indicate and it was warm enough in February for the family to use. The villa is situated very close to the Almond beach hotel which has an amazing beach. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes. The Heywood estate has a good mix of newish build houses and the locals are very friendly. Its a ten minute walk into Speightstown which has all the basic shopping you will need for your holiday. If you walk the other way on the main road you reach a beautiful Marina and its beach, carry on walking and you reach a rural part of the Island where the locals live in their beach shacks. There is a great shack there that does cheap food and drinks, mostly used by locals but very welcoming to tourists. They had 3 BBD banks beer and 9 BBD Spanish wine and also stocked snacks (the Fishcake sandwich was nice). We had great fun exploring the island on the Yellow "Reggae Reggae" buses. These are only 1USD person and we took them twice in to Bridgetown and once into Holetown. The yellow buses are an experience themselves with the loud music playing and Alton Towers style driving. The more reserved government blue buses are also available, however our only journey on one resulted in a breakdown! We spent about 100 USD on Taxi's to and from the airport and then only spent about 20 dollars on buses across the island. We had a small query when we were in the villa which John and Jan responded to immediately and quickly gave us the help we required. They were also very helpful in making sure we got to our villa, calling us at 10pm Barbados time (2am UK time) after our flight was delayed 4 hours. The proximity of the villa to the beach and also its closeness to the amenities means this will be our first choice villa when we return to Barbados."

  • Great stay in Barbados

"The house was great nice size bedroom, bathroom, and living area. Was about a 10 minute walk to Port Saint Charles beach. Quiet neighborhood and while walking in the neighborhood spotted some monkeys. Debbie was very responsive to any emails sent. Would highly recommend."

  • Better Than The Pictures Show

"This place is absolutely amazing! The views are breathtaking, the condo is huge and has everything you could possibly want... 3 choices of dishware, which suits everything you could possibly cook. Lots of cutlery and kitchen gadgets, different glassware choices. I could tell this is someone's home. Thanks for letting us borrow it for a bit. The fans were great so we could enjoy the sounds of the sea and not end up all closed in while being so close by! The location was great - we were only 2 short blocks from the bus station which took us everywhere. A short walk along the shore took us to the fish market, the vegetable sellers, the grocery store and other spots as well. I beachcombed and found a liter of sea glass to take home. It seems to be plentiful at "your own private beach". A warning: there are now stonefish in the waters of Barbados. They are similar looking but very different to lizardfish. Don't step on one. They lie on the bottom and the one I saw was in about a meter of water. Wear beach shoes or flippers in the water. Back to the inside: Having the bedrooms separated meant good privacy. And with 3 full bathrooms all with showers (one with tub/shower) there was never a reason to wait. Rinse off area down in the car park was used daily and very handy. We met others staying in the building and we all agreed this is an excellent place to be. Wifi worked well. Tv didn't work when we were there. Didn't miss it. We were out and about a lot. There's a bookshelf with a lot of books waiting to be read on the chaise or on the beach, if you have the desire... or the time."

  • Truely magnificent apartment that cannot be captured in photographs.

"5 off us have just returned after spending 13 nights is the superb 207 Apartment within the Port St Charles marina. Have spent numerous holidays in Barbados we didn't want to leave this ' home away from home. Beautifully designer furnished and superbly equipped and with the very best lagoon and sea views. Amazing staff throughout the complex and in the Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant. 2 minutes from the small quiet North Beach or a water taxi ride to the sweeping Heywoods Beach. A vacation of a life time."
