  • Simply Wonderful!

"Our family of 4, (2 adults and 2 children), just returned from our 12 day vacation to Barbados. The accommodation was simply perfect! The location is ideal as a basecamp for day trips around the island or just to stay and relax on the wonderful beach. Bridgetown is only a 5-10 minute drive, and Holetown is about 15 minutes. A grocery store is within walking distance if you prefer to just stay at the villa. The owner - Gertrud - is a wonderful lady who made our stay all the more enjoyable by providing very useful information about everything from where to buy groceries to which sites to visit. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, including families with young children. The property is very clean with plenty of amenities including a covered outdoor kitchen which is fantastic. It is also located in a safe area that is quiet (i.e., away from the bustle of more touristy areas). I would recommend renting a car if you want to frequent restaurants and/or see the many interesting sites of the island."

  • A HOME-AWAY-FROM HOME

"We recently spent a month at Lynly Manor in the second floor apartment. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, windows and doors are screened and security is excellent. We liked the area, visits from the green monkeys, birds in the garden and fire flies at night. It's a short walk down the hill to Mullins Beach where the water is calm and good for swimming. Mullins Beach Bar has food, cold drinks and rental chairs and umbrellas are available for the day. It's a perfect place to watch the sunset. Speightstown and Holetown are close by and have large supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops, etc. A convenience store that stocks basics is a short walk from the Manor, at the Rubis Gas Station. We got around by bus. Service is frequent and efficient for $2.00 a trip. The owners, Lynn and Lyle were in residence while we were there and they are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Beautiful Barbados."
