"My family and I stayed at Simon Lewis's 2 Bdrm Apartment from March 31, 2016 through April 8th. The 2 Bdrms are formed by joining a 1 Bdrm apartment with an adjoining studio room, and combined they are one entire floor in one of the buildings you can see in the pictures. I can honestly say this is the nicest property we have ever stayed, and Simon's apartment is perfectly located overlooking the pool and marina. You can walk from the pool to Simon's apartment in 30 seconds. This property is definitely high end, and is void of all the typical annoyances that come with normal vacation rentals (e.g. people reserving pool chairs when they are not in the pool, checking towels in and out, etc). The staff is very friendly, and they make a point of learning your names. They also go the extra mile by bringing you bottled water while at the pool, along with a couple of rounds of complimentary drinks (in shot glasses) during the day. There is no "check out time", you leave your room when it is time for you to go to the airport to catch your flight. Marigot Bay is truly picturesque, with the Northern half being mostly undeveloped. There are 6 restaurants around the bay (or very nearby), not including the Capella. Overall I would rate the food as good, but not fantastic (the food at the Capella was probably the best), and prices are high but not outrageous as at some other islands. The road conditions are really bad, so if you haven't been to St. Lucia before you absolutely do not want to rent a car from the airport and try to find the Capella. I rented a car with help from my "personal assistant" at the Capella, and it was quite reasonable. I also did not find this to be the best island for beaches or snorkeling. However, the people on the island are very friendly, and if you like the contrasting scenery of a mountainous island and clear blue Caribbean water, this is the place for you. All-in-all this is an outstanding property, and Simon is renting it at a very reasonable price for what you get. This is also the easiest rental process I every had through VRBO. Thank you Simon!!!"

  • Peaceful, gorgeous home with great location

"We recently visited Casa Miradores with another couple, and were very pleased with the location, setting and accommodations. The home is lovely and clean, and is in the best location, in my opinion, after seeing the whole island. It's just south of town where it is nice and peaceful, but still not too far away to drive in town with the golf cart. Beautiful view and pool, and overall just a great find! Mata Rocks staff was awesome and helpful when planning excursions. We did a fantastic catamaran tour with Searious Tours that included 2 snorkeling stops and a trip to Caulker Caye. I highly recommend doing that-it was amazing! The only improvement I would suggest would be to install some blinds for privacy in the Master bedroom. Other than that, it is fantastic!"

  • Amazing Villa in Amazing Place

"We had really great time in Villa Celeste. The place is in a great shape, well maintained and groomed. People are very nice and helpful including housekeeping, security, drivers. Definitely recomend in-house cooking option, just don't forget to learn a bit of Spanish to get the most of it :) The beach is just a few steps from the villa, very clean and very private. The only thing to be aware is that the tide is quite strong so be careful especially if with young children. Thank you!"

"A beautiful, comfortable fully equipped beach cottage. So nice to open all of the doors and let the island breeze fly through. The bed and linens are divine. The hammocks are perfect for relaxing. We cooked inside and out on the grill. We had everything we needed for dining in. Internet never failed. It is a short easy walk to the Tiki hut, overlooking a magnificent and deserted beach. The Pigeon Key Beach Club is quite close with an honor bar on the beach. We had dinner there several times. The steamed conck stew and conck fritters that were outstanding. The house has snorkeling equipment and beach floats.the outdoor shower felt great. Nice to have a washer/ dryer.Overall it was a beautiful, well planned, relaxing and very private spot. Recommend highly."
