  • Great location in Cruz Bay, lovely studio

"The studio was just what we needed for our stay in Cruz Bay. It was clean, well-designed , and had a wonderful smell to it...sounds bizarre but it was really a most pleasant smell. The unit had everything we needed -- the kitchenette had a small fridge, coffee maker, plates, glasses, etc., the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The description and pictures were very accurate. The view from the terrace is lovely. The reserved parking spot was taken by the occupants of the one-bedroom unit but we were able to find a free unassigned spot for the night -- for longer stays you might want to make sure you have a spot as parking in Cruz Bay can be a challenge. On all our previous trips to St. John we have just stayed in Cruz Bay but on this trip we decided to spend most of the trip staying out on the East End (in or near Coral Bay). At the end, though, we needed our Cruz Bay "fix" and we had wanted to try Grande Bay so this place was perfect. We walked to dinner at a great new restaurant in Cruz Bay called Extra Virgin, and then the next day to shops for some souvenirs. It was very quick and easy working with Kevin on the reservation which we really appreciated. We will definitely consider staying there again when we return to St. John."

  • Peaceful Hansen Bay Retreat

"We have rented Camercon Cove for many years now, and would never consider another place. While not ostentatious in design or furnishings, the house works well and is comfortable, and for peace and quiet, and water access, you cannot beat the location. Life happens on the deck breakfast thru dinner and on into sunset and starscape, or on the beach. Not as sandy as the north shore beaches, but a very short walk, and the 1/4 mile beach is shared by only 5 properties, one still only an empty lot. Right next to Sloop Jones on the map, and walkable close to other uncrowded East End beaches. A regular parade of sail and power boats and kayaks anchor below the house: you can pay about $75 an person to hire a boat in Coral Bay for a "secluded snorkel" trip and they will bring you here to Pelican Rocks, which you can easily swim to from our beach. You need a bit of sang froid to drive the hills of the National Park from Coral Bay-- centerline road from Cruz Bay is just a warm up--but Coral Bay has all you need, and now has several quite fine places to eat. If you snorkel over the turtle grass toward Long Point in late afternoon, you have a good chace of seeing a Spotted Eagle Ray cruising under you, the single most graceful moving creature in the sea ( and air for that matter)."

  • The Honeymoon of Our Dreams!!! A First Class Estate Fit for a King & Queen

"My husband and I saw pictures of this Yellow Bird Luxury Rental online and knew it would be the perfect place for our dream honeymoon suite. It looked inviting and colorful the way we wanted our tropical paradise home to be. When we pulled up to the beautiful estate, our jaws dropped. The whimsical manor nestled in Fredericksted was truly a sight to see. The gorgeous botanical garden and fruits smelled wonderful. The details put into the structure were creative and awe-inspiring. The arcs inside and outside of the house looked like something out of a romantic love story. The architecture of the rooms, the coziness of every part made our stay so sweet. Every room had such a delightful appeal, we could have stayed at any of them and been just as pleased. The view from the top floor bedroom was breathtaking. We especially loved the veranda where we had our first meal on the island. The entire home was immaculate and in showplace shape. I loved the style of the tropical furniture, the bedding, the kitchen, the baths and the fans. My husband loved the bedding too but he really liked the tile work throughout. Such resplendent detail! Zen was such a gracious host. From her welcome to our departure, she's the best! Zen's garden smelled delightful, looked eye-catching, and the whirlpool was a great added touch. I appreciated the wireless, the kitchen's charm, and the closet space was superb! Yellowbird definitely beats any other vacation spot on the island. We felt like a king and queen. The fresh herbal teas are exactly my style. There was more than enough space and plenty of options to lounge around. We were able to easily access the beaches, the highway, the airport, and so much more. Our stay was simply the absolute BEST! We're so happy we chose Yellow Bird. We would highly recommend the Yellow Bird Vacation home to our friends, families and even other newlyweds. It was just right in every way possible. We will definitely be returning to the Virgin Islands again. And when we do, we will bring family, cook out, and stay no place else but our Yellow Bird Vacation Home. Thanks a million, Zen, for having such a great place. Our honeymoon was a dream come true. We LOVE Yellow Bird. May you have much success and many, many more guests! Eric & Erika H. :)"

  • Great Time, Great Place, Great Hospitality!

"We had a great time. It always goes by too quick. Can't wait to come back. I made sure I brought home a real estate book with me just so I can dream...haha. Thank you for the hospitality. We loved the villa and it worked perfectly for us. Everything we asked for was provided and more. Happy New Year and go Navy! Until next time, --NRG"
