  • A tiny piece of paradise

"If you are looking for pampering, nightlife, and lap-of-luxury accommodations, this is not the place for you. If, however, you enjoy deserted beaches, amazingly friendly people, breathtakingly beautiful scenery, and lots of opportunities to explore, all based out of this perfect little cabin - you have found the right place! Veronica and Brett are friendly and helpful hosts. Veronica looked after booking our car rental with Strikers, and they gave us lots of tips on things to see and do on this gem of an island. The cabin is simple, with water from a cistern and the water pump and main lights powered via a solar panel on the roof. Kitchen is outfitted with a two burner hotplate, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and toaster. Everything you need! We rarely travel more than once to a destination, but Nevis will see us again! Sea View cottage was the perfect base for a week of island living, and Brett and Veronica the perfect hosts. Book it - you won't be disappointed!"

  • Gorgeous!

"We had an amazing week in this beautiful, perfectly put-together unit. With just two of us, it was wonderful to sleep right by the slider to the balcony, so that we could enjoy hearing the waves in the harbor lapping the shore all night. The studio unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Tracy (owner) was so easy to work with, and her staff did a great job of offering us assistance with arrival details, equipment and excursions, if wanted. Thank you all for a wonderful experience - we will definitely be back to Seaside Properties!!!"

  • Wonderful Villa Eldorado

"My advice... Rent this place! My family and I came out for 8 nights during the recent winter break. We simply had a great time. Anouk has set up a very professional system for the rental. She arranges for a driver (we had Hank) to pick you up at the airport. Once at the house there is a reliable pickup truck right on the property available for rental. Ellen is the very pleasant caretaker who meets you at the property and gives you a tour of the house and how everything works. She provides you her contact info if you have any questions about the house or island. There's even a cell phone in the house if you feel the need to carry one. It's as easy as can be! The house itself is perfect. It's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, on a hillside, just a quick drive from the town. It's stylish and well furnished. Beds are all very comfortable. The large lanai overlooks the pool and has 270 degree ocean and town views. Landry on the property. The kids just loved the pool. The garden and landscaping was impeccable. Bonaire was such a great low key destination. Just great snorkeling all over the place; but particularly around the island of Klein Bonaire. We saw rays, octopus, turtles, large barracuda, bonefish, eels, on and on... Bonaire Secret: there is a nice small beach at the "Red Beryl" dive spot where you can swim, hang out, and watch the kite boarders. Thank you Anouk, Ellen, and Hank for a wonderful trip!"

  • A True Island Gem

"WOW! There are just no words to describe this place. This home is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The best snorkeling is right outside your back door. Just don't forget your water shoes! The swimming pool is the perfect place to unwind with a daiquiri or a nice glass of wine. There are 3 liquor stores on the island-Miss Mary Lou's, Big Daddy's and Island Man Rum Shop. Pretty sure we hit them all. There are also 3 main grocery stores-Market Place, Kirkconnell's and Billy's. Don't be surprised if you have to stop at all 3 to get everything on your list. But hey, that's the fun part! If you're looking for a good Ribeye to throw on that super cool outdoor grill though, you can pretty much forget it. May want to consider packing a cooler of meat, which can be checked as luggage but must be packed frozen and in its original packaging. On the days you don't feel like cooking there are a few restaurants worth mentioning. Brac Reef Resort is home to The Palm (Friday nights are BBQ night) and The Tipsy Turtle (great bar menu). Eats & Treats (burgers and ice cream) and PoPo Jeb's (pizza) both deliver. Star Island is a great breakfast choice. If you need cash there is one bank on the island. The 24 hour ATM gives you a choice of US$ or CI$. When you're out and about be sure to check out the caves (don't forget your flashlights)! Peter's cave is spectacular and filled with a rich and interesting history. Rebecca's cave was also one of our faves. If you're wanting to feel the sand between your toes, the one and only Public Beach is the perfect spot for that. Tons of hermit crabs there too! The Lighthouse is the gateway to the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Take your camera! Derwin was also amazing. He was very attentive and made himself readily available to answer any questions we had. On our second to last day, we took a boat ride with Derwin to Point of Sand on Little Cayman. We spent the entire day snorkeling, fishing and picnicking. It was hands down our favorite and most memorable part of the trip. Thank you Derwin! Before you leave the island, if it's the last thing you do, take a trip to NIM Things. There you'll be met by Tenson Scott, the owner and maker of the most interesting and unique necklaces. Just give yourself at least an hour as he's quite the story teller! Thank you, Cha-che, for all tips prior to our trip, the use of your car, and the sharing your beautiful home!"
