  • Had a wonderful stay at Mirimar Villas

"The condo was perfect and had all of the amenities for a very comfortable stay. The view is breathtaking! We enjoyed time at the immaculate pool as well as on the dock where we saw dolphins, stingrays, eagle rays and fish! The grounds are kept beautifully by Caesar - and he also took very good care of us! We had problems with the dryer and the A/C but they were quick to come and repair once we made the call."

  • Pool with a view!

"Our vacation started with a 15 min. flight from Belize City to San Pedro. The view of the blue water was incredible. Our driver met us at the airport (Jorge) after we had a drink at the bar beside the airport. We stopped at the market for groceries and then on to the house. When we arrived Carolyn was waiting outside to greet us. The layout was great with an awesome view of the ocean from the house. It was very comfortable and the rooftop pool was the place to be to watch the sunsets. The complimentary beach toys really made it more fun when we were on the beach or using bikes to ride to town. Carolyn also arranged for Aurora to fix a great dinner for us three nights. That's a must. Fantastic! And the pricing was cheaper than some of the restaurants. The other evenings Carolyn had some great recommendations. Lion fish at Pirates Treasure, ice cream at The Truck Stop, and Akbul for incredible Belize-an food. You've got to have the coconut pie. I must not forget to mention William, the caretaker of the property. Great guy. He fixed us lemon grass tea one day and built an incredible bonfire for us on the beach one evening. The five of us all enjoyed the company of the dogs. They were definitely entertaining, but very well behaved. We really enjoyed them. I can't forget to mention Ted, Carolyn's husband. Great guy. A little tip. If you want to get on his good side he likes bloody marys. We did rent a golf cart for a couple days to explore. If you get the opportunity make it over to Secret Beach. Calm, clear water, and a sandy bottom. To sum it up we really couldn't think of anything more that we could have had or they could have done to make our vacation more enjoyable. Thank you Carolyn, Ted, and William"

  • Beautiful Property

"We had 4 adults and 2 kids in our group and the house was perfect! We had 2 golf carts for going to town, but the property also has a dock for excursion pickups by boat. One of our favorite restaurants on the island (Rojo Beach Bar) is only a 10 minute walk, plus there are a few others. The grounds keeper, David is always on hand for any and all the management team (Brittany and Carol) were helpful from day one to the end. We can't wait to go back!!"

  • Perfect spot in paradise

"my friends and I ( a group of 5 ladies) just returned from a wonderful 10 days at Casa B'Alam. We had a great time, the house is just like you see in the pictures, lovely island-style decor and plenty of space for all. We had been on Ambergris Caye many times before, and this place is a favorite for sure! We opted to get the weekly boat pass from Coastal Express instead of the golf cart, just because we find it more relaxing to go everywhere by boat! I recommend you read the "Welcome Book" that is up on the counter by the phone in the kitchen, the owner has put together a great little manual about all the important things to know, including restaurant, tour company and other recommendations. Look for the guy on a bike with a cooler in the morning, he has great breakfast burritos and sometimes tamales! He stops by around 8:30 or so. The sunsets from the rooftop were amazing, what a great view! Loved the dock with the comfy padded chairs, and the water is just deep enough for a dip - we brought floaties and had fun just bobbing around in the warm water. It was a bit windy on the days we wanted to use the kayak, so we never did, but it's something on the list for next time! We took several snorkel trips with Seaduced by Belize, used them for years, they are wonderful. Don't miss a walk to Rojo Beach Bar ( closed Sun & Mon), we love going for lunch and then hanging out by their cute little pool. We never did see the caretaker, but we didn't really need him for anything; the manager did come and check on us a couple of times and she always easy to reach with a text."
