  • Our stay at the blue house

"We had a great time and the house was everything we expected. Joe made things very easy and hassle free. It was a close walk to everywhere we had to go and the nieghbourhood was friendly. We enjoyed peaceful mornings reading and listening to music on the lagoon it was a short walk to the beach to spend the afternoons and great restaurants near by for diner when we chose to eat out. A amazing experience"

  • Relaxing Stay at Sunset Beach Resort

"I, along with three other friends, recent returned from a great trip to Belize, where we spent part of our time in this condo. The description of the listing was very accurate and the condo fit our needs perfectly. It is in a great location... close enough to easily head into town for dinner or shopping, but far enough away from the activity to be quiet and feel secluded. There are several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance to the resort -- we visited a couple (Island Time, Lone Star, and Nest Grill) during our stay. Chapin does a great job keeping the resort grounds clean and he's available to help with an issues (not that we had any). The pool was great and we never had any issue getting lounge chairs -- admittedly, only about a third of the units were occupied during our stay. The unit is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, cups, ice trays, etc. There is even a cabinet with a few beach items, sunscreen, etc. from previous visitors. We loved eating on the private balcony with the gorgeous view and a wonderful breeze. There is also a hammock and several other chairs. We made a couple breakfasts in the unit using eggs and hand-made tortillas from the small market down the street. We also grilled on the BBQ one night. We ended up only doing one snorkeling trip, but it was great. A private tour where they picked us up right from the dock at the resort. We stopped at Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, and Coral Gardens, before heading on to Caye Caulker for lunch and time to walk around. The trip was a blast. Since we were there at the end of the dry season, we didn't see many mosquitoes. In fact, rarely used any bug spray and had no bites. We rented a golf cart (highly recommended) which provided us with flexibility to move around the island and we found it a fun way to travel. Note that it can be a bit bumpy for people on the back of the cart. Overall it was a fantastic trip. The other people staying at the resort during our time there were really nice and the atmosphere at the resort is relaxed and friendly. I look forward to visiting Belize again and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

  • Fantastic Vacation!!!

"My husband and I spent a wonderful week with 4 of our best friends at Casa Redondra. The house is extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool and the view of the ocean was incredible. We used Marfa the cook that was recommended for 7 meals and all of them were spectacular. We were all wishing we had booked more meals with her. Victor the caretaker and his wife were extremely helpful and always available. I would say a golf cart is a must. We rented the 6 person one and had so much fun going to dinner a few nights, shopping, and bar hoping. Check out Island time and their tacos and margerittas. They were delicious. I can truly say this was one of the most amazing vacations I have ever been on. One suggestion would be to spend the extra money and take the 18 minute plane ride from the airport in Belize to San Pedro's instead of the one and a half hours on a boat. We did a boat trip using Suya tours that took us snorkeling and then to a private island to enjoy the fresh fish and conch that our guys driving the boat speared while we snorkeled. It was delicious and so were the sides they prepared. I would definitely do it again."

  • Dick and Deb

"Coral Cottages were well kept and the grounds were excellent. Iain was a gracious host and we enjoyed our few visits with him very much. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Lilly as she was visiting her father who was ill. The Cottages were perfect for the two of us and a great place from which to investigate Corozal. We were only a short five minute walk to the water and a short walk into town. They provided two bikes which allowed us the opportunity to explore outside of town. Taxi service was good and reasonably priced - we would recommend Menzies Transport Service, they were excellent. Shopping for groceries, restaurants were withing walking distance and the people were wonderful and of course, the weather was certainly better than Ohio in mid-January to mid-February. It was a very enjoyable stay. Belize isn't Hawaii. It is a third world country but we found the people very pleasant and friendly and met several expats from the U.S. and Canada."
