  • Totally Relaxing

"There is not much point in rewriting all the rave reviews that I have already seen for your unit. It would be enough to say that all favourable reviews were very accurate. From our first correspondence to now we have been extremely satisfied with all aspects of our vacation. We got the much needed recuperation time we so badly needed and only want to say Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise."

  • Great Vacation!

"We just returned from a great stay at Casa Amarillo. We were a family of 11 with 6 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 tweens. We loved it! We rented the entire house and loved the privacy and beauty of the surroundings. We arrived a week after a hurricane hit the island and we were shocked at how well they had cleaned everything and had the house and grounds ready for our group. We rented 3 golf carts for trips into town at Carts Belize and we enjoyed having them. It is a rough bumpy ride to and from town but we just looked at it as an adventure and laughed along the way. Would HIGHLY recommend bug spray for the journey and at night around the house. We had meals cooked for us twice while we stayed. Both meals were wonderful. We had a traditional Belizean meal when we arrived after traveling all day cooked by Robert's sister because Marfa was ill. Marfa also cooked chicken fajitas for us one night after an all day excursion. We LOVED her salsa and guacamole and could have eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. Robert was great and helped fixed the volleyball net, kept the pool and grounds clean, and arranged for Carts Belize to fix a flat tire we had on one of the golf carts. The house is very comfortable but do not expect a 5 star hotel. There are air conditioners in each bedroom which helps at night when you sleep. The beds are ok but not luxurious. We would have enjoyed a few more towels and beach towels for our party size but we made do. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, utensils, etc.. Wifi worked great indoors and outside and we enjoyed the TV's in the evening so we could watch the Olympics. We enjoyed playing volleyball, sand hockey and relaxing in the pool or hammocks. Rosa was awesome too. She met us right on time at the airport and helped answer many questions we had. She provided a phone for us to use and was a phone call away if we needed her. She made great recommendations regarding tours and excursions. She gave us a book that had many recommendations from local companies and other guests regarding tours, restaurants and also included a history of Belize. Very helpful. Rosa also helped arrange our trip to the mainland for Cave Tubing and Zip-lining. Suya Tours picked us up at our dock for a great morning of snorkeling at Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley and the Coral Gardens. The rest of the time we stayed around the house having fun as a family. We loved out time at Casa Amarillo and would stay again!"

  • Perfect accommodations for 2 moms and 3 teens and Alvin is the best!

"We had an amazing stay at Diamond Reef. We were two friends traveling together with three teens and we wouldn't change a thing. Alvin is like a private driver, personal concierge and trip director all in one. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He arranged an all-day mainland excursion for us. It was a full day but not exhausting - Mayan ruins, zip lining and cave tubing with a delicious lunch. If you go, ask for Earl. He was our personal guide and it was worth it just to spend the day with him. Alvin also arranged snorkeling in the Mexico Rocks for a fraction of what the resort nearby charges. Coordinating trips into San Pedro was easy. He checked in with us every evening to arrange transportation for the next day. We enjoyed the 15 minute boat ride into town (we live in a big city and are used to spending time on public transportation). We grocery shopped and prepared most of our meals in the condo. The kitchen is well appointed - we didn't want for anything. The setting can't be beat. Stunning sunsets, moonrises, a private beach, a refreshing pool, kayaks.Every day was a great adventure but also very relaxing. I've recommended Diamond Reef to many people and would go back without hesitation. Reserving and coordinating through Rickey was a breeze."
