  • Great Place!! Excellent staff!!

"We had the opportunity to stay here twice. It was very pleasant and comfortable for our party of four. The rooms were very clean and clearly well taken care of. The beach was impeccably clean and even raked daily. I was impressed with temperature of the water...so warm and clear. We were given complementary coconut rum drinks, which were tasty. The staff was attentive and arranged all our activities. Kyra arranged a awesome day snorkeling with Ash, Bo and Juice. What a once in a lifetime experience! That day we made lifelong friends. The village was the best part of Hopkins. Nicest people ever!! We were very safe and felt as if we were part of the culture and village with the warm and welcoming Garifuna people. They have more love and kindness then anywhere I have ever been. Happiest people in the world. We became totally immersed in the village from super great food, drumming and cute beach bars with music. If your coming to Belize- come to Hopkins and stay at Coconut row. You wont be disappointed."

  • Perfect paradise!

"We stayed at Habaru house recently for 4 days. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly want - from blenders to beach towels to kayaks and bicycles! Air conditioning in every room was lovely! We enjoyed meeting the caretakers, Anthony and Gil, who managed to answer any questions and help us about without being intrusive at all. They were really nice gentlemen! Sitting up on the porch in the comfy deck chairs, walking the beach, and enjoying the surf were all great memories. We are a family of 5 with 3 teens and there would have been room for 3 or more people to sleep easily! Lots of space and a well designed great room enabled us to all enjoy the house. I would definitely give this a 5 star rating. You won't be disappointed with anything! Right from the beginning the owner was helpful and provided great tour ideas, a map of Hopkins with favourite (and good) places to eat, and answered all questions very promptly. We felt COMPLETELY safe at the house, as we also did in Hopkins (which is still very much a little Belizian village filled with friendly and helpful locals). Would highly recommend a tour with Happy Go Luckie Tours for fishing/snorkeling. Bottom line, this was a great place for a family to stay and enjoy the beach/water but would also make for an ideal romantic getaway as the beach and area is so quiet and peaceful."

  • Beach House In Hopkins, Belize

"Excellent housing with all amenities and clean spacious living space, plenty of room for large groups or families looking to occupy a large space. We loved the beautiful ocean view, perfect sand on the beaches, and kayaks located on the property to go out and kayak in the crystal clear ocean water. Kind housekeeper and wonderful, clean, home. 10/10 would stay again!"

  • Paradise for the Family!!

"Everything from owner communication to the property and the location was five stars! The photos online don't do the place justice. We rented a car in Belize City and drove to Hopkins - make the trip in the daylight (we didn't!). The house is just far enough away from town to feel like you have a private beach, but close enough that you are in the middle of all the fun in minutes. The full kitchen is perfect, but if you want to grill steaks, chicken or seafood, bring some in dry-ice from the US (not much in terms of fresh meats and seafood in the markets). The kids spent hours each day in the water, snorkeling and jumping off the pier. Eating on the covered pagoda at the end of the private pier was a favorite for everyone. The owner was out of the country when we were there, but very attentive and responsive via email. We've used VRBO many times before, but this was by far everyone's favorite. What a gem this property is! Things to do while you are there? -Tina's Kitchen for a traditional meal. -"Hopkins Kulcha Tours" (Charlton is an amazing guide - we went to Mayan Ruins, St. Herman's Cave and Blue Hole Park). -Waterfalls, hiking and diving in the jungle/mountains around Hopkins (30 minutes away) -Thongs Cafe for Breakfast (amazing juices and smoothies!) -Sit, relax and enjoy!!!!"
