  • Great condo!

"My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO's in Belize and this is by far our favorite. Very nice layout with the bedrooms/bathrooms on one floor and the living room/kitchen on the floor above. No less than *four* outside sitting areas including an amazing rooftop hammock and patio furniture. Other bonuses: high end kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable furniture, good wifi, quiet neighbors, sweet little community pool, great A/C, ceiling fans thruout and short well-lit walk to town. Owner Max was great to work with and provides lots of useful info. Caretakers Edwin and his wife Emma are wonderful to assist with crossing the lagoon, answering questions and generally making you feel welcome. Our only regret: we wish we could stay longer than one week on this visit but we will be back as we cannot get enough of Belize! Try tours with Lyra at Taste Belize!"

  • Relaxing

"Revas pearls was everything we expected and more. The belizean hardwood is beautiful and the Windows all around are private but still give the feel of openness. Everything you need is right with all the tools to cook a good meal. An awesome blender for your fav frozen drinks and a view of sunsets to look forward to. The beds were comfy and clean. We had fun feeding the iguanas our leftovers. The birds!! Oh the birds were so much fun to watch and identify!! The eateries near by ...mangos and the bistro ... are pretty much all you need to find food. One more is singing sands for good food and an absolutely beautiful view/and stunning gardens. We did not have a car and we got around just fine with the bikes. Thank you Julie and Doug. See you next year!!"

  • The property is amazing! So incredably PEACEFUL

"The unit we stayed in is absolutely beautiful, clean and designed & decorated beautifully! We however did have some issues with the refrigerator. Which Edwin the caretaker did his best to resolve. The A/C unit in guest bedroom was not working, again Edwin took care of it. Several light bulbs were out through out unit, Edwin took care of it as well. I didn't realize how difficult it is to get hands on light bulbs in Placencia. Us folks in the States sure do take things for granted. We loved Edwin and Emma and their adorable children and of course Odie the dog. We felt right at home. Edwin is such a vital importance to this community and townhouse complex! I do suggest the owner to replace the water tubing supply to the main house to bigger size to accomodate the frig issues. We had to repeatedly get bags of ice due to ice maker not working and water flow is extremely slow from frig. We ended up filling pitcher of water from sink and place in frig for cold water. We were told that other owners of other units ended up changing the water supply tubing as well. Otherwise, this place is a slice of Heaven on Earth. We loved Placencia so much we ended up buying a beach front condo just north on East side called Palm Reef Resort. Construction is going now and July 2018 can't come soon enough, so we can return to our own piece of PARADISE."

  • Amazing Condo, Authentic Cultural Experience and Access to Water

"There were two couples in our group and right from the start, we were impressed with the location of the resort, the beautiful interior and exterior of the three buildings, the pool and the pier. We did not know what to expect since this was a new rental and there were no reviews to read yet. We LOVED the place. We were treated well by Herbert, who coordinated the rental for us. Placencia is the town about 20 minutes away and we highly recommend booking a few excursions from there. But the best restaurants are in Maya Beach which is about 10 minutes away, north of the resort. We lucked out and received a detailed list of best restaurants and sites to see from our neighbors in the condo building. In Placencia, be sure to eat at Omar's where the fish is FRESH and it is BYOB. We also highly recommend the Maya Beach Bistro!! The only sad aspect is the poverty of many of the people - there is no real middle class in Belize. But the people are very kind and friendly. Other must's include snorkeling at one of the Cayes and tubing down the river at the Jaguar sanctuary (which can be done on your own if you have rented a car). The area is very casual (no one wears high heals or dresses up) so be sure to bring the right clothing, including an umbrella for the short rain showers. Don't expect to shop much, at least in that area, but if you do go shopping, you will find beautiful bead jewelry and hardwood bowls."
