  • Gorgeous

"Absolutely gorgoues location! The private beach is stunning. Truly. We've traveled to many islands, and this beach rivals many, as does nearby Horseshoe Bay. House has everything you need, (except and espresso maker)! Buses are easy and the stop is very close. Not too many many restaurants within walking distance, but we were able to make due with Henry the 8th which is just across the street. And we took taxis to other restaurants, which are easy to hail. Lorna is very friendly and helpful. We vacationed in April, and though it is springtime there, is was perfect weather. High 60's and low 70's is ideal beach weather on a sunny day. Coolish nights make for perfect sleeping. And the beaches were nearly deserted. I'd do it again in a second. Highly recommend!"

  • Quiet, Peaceful and very clean

"If you are looking for something quiet and peaceful, look no further. This hidden gem, was perfect for two people. Upon entering, it was spotless. The owner Robert gave us a tour of the property and our small cabin. Everything you need is in the cabin. ( cleaners, bags, towels, beach towels, iron, hairdryer, pots and pans...) The pool was much too cold to swim as the temps were only in the 60's. Grounds were so peaceful with a hammock and pool furniture overlooking the harbor. The owner lives right next door and although we didn't need him for anything, he was there if we did. This may be a little difficult for anyone who does not relish walking up a steep hill or using the shortcut (steep stairs) to get back to the cabin. The proximity to downtown St. George is just a short stroll (downhill) away. Very convenient to the bus stop and all restaurants in St. George. Should we go back to Bermuda, we will certainly stay her again."

"Thank you Russell and Jean Marie for being the perfect hosts! Russell met us at the airport and Jean Marie was waiting to give us a warm welcome when we arrived at the Inn. Since we decided to use the efficient and easily available bus system, Jean Marie made sure that we knew which bus to use and even provided tickets and a map to get us started. My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I were very pleased with the accommodations – and I am a VERY picky person! The rooms were clean, bright and decorated nicely. From breakfast on the patio overlooking Jean Marie’s garden, to evening conversations in the adjoining lounge, we were always very comfortable. Wade’s Garden Inn is the perfect place to stay!"

  • Amazing Time Here!

"Can't say enough about our stay here. Alan greeted us with a couple of cold beers and was so helpful in recommending things to do and see. This location is centrally located, easy to get to all areas of the island. We rented a scooter that was delivered to us and we were able to cover every corner of Bermuda in the 6 days we stayed. Be prepared for endless fun with Jack the dog who loves a good game of fetch with his tennis ball. This studio was impeccably clean, with everything we needed. Quiet and restful, clean and safe. Walking distance to a great restaurant we highly recommend called Rustico, as well as a pretty good pizza joint called Five Stars. Stock up on grocery items at the nearby grocery store and you can have breakfast in the room. It costs about $20 from this location to the airport by taxi. The bus is in walking distance. Minutes from the Aquarium which is great to see on a rainy day. The night before we left Alan and Anita spent time with us as we talked about our trip and enjoyed some good laughs together. They are tremendously welcoming and hospitable. You almost forget you are staying at a VRBO rental location - you feel like you are staying with friends or family. Any needs we had with the studio were immediately addressed and cared for. They even provided towels and some snorkel gear for our week. I really can't say enough about this location. Do not HESITATE to stay here. Especially for the price - it can't be beat. If we ever make it back to Bermuda, we will definitely be staying with Alan and Anita. We send your our warmest regards from NC! Andrew and Iris!"
