We stayed at Kaya Kuarts for eight nights. Carla and her family own a few other properties around Bonaire and it seems they are constantly making improvements to them, they are true lovers of Bonaire just like myself. I have never used VRBO for travel to Bonaire before but am pleased to say we had an excellent experience. We had a small party and used only part of the house. The home is located in a very nice residential part of Bonaire, but it worked perfectly, and was very safe and clean. The house has an air conditioner in each bedroom which worked well. We only ran the air conditioning in the evenings, which kept everything comfortable. We exceeded the electrical allotment a bit, I suppose we ran the air conditioning more than others would. We made our own meals about half of the time, the rest we explored the great options on the island. We were so impressed with Arnold, the property manager. He and Carla took great care of us. There was an issue with the internet initially, and Arnold surprised us by showing up at the house with a mifi from Telbo’s wireless company called Kla, it worked perfectly and allowed us to complete work and school obligations back home while we were away. Arnold was an amazing host, I cannot say enough about how great of a man he is. We kept in touch over WhatsApp, and any question or issue we had he would be ready to help, saying it was “his duty.” We also really enjoyed the Toyota hilux that is available for renters of the property. The truck was in good condition and is relatively new, it was perfect for scuba diving and getting around Bonaire. We took great care of the property the truck and Arnold and hope to stay again on our next visit.
