  • Private, huge, good view, nice pool

"Wau! The villa was huge, much bigger than we thought! And it was very clean and nicely decorated. The balcony/terrace upstairs was also very huge and very nice place to eat, chill out, enjoy the scenery, barbecue etc... There was mosquitos in the time of sun rise and sun set but no other times. We used only the upstairs apartment and pool deck, so we have no idea about the downstairs apartment. There was no stairs from upstairs to the pool deck, we needed always to go around the villa to get there. Pool deck was well big enough for the two of us and all the huge iguanas and parrots who visited us daily. Pool itself was great! The villa was in very quiet and private place. It was after all very easy to find and the owners pickup truck was perfect way to drive around the small island. Only thing bothering us was that we spent there 12 nights and there was no cleaning included in the middle, so the floors did get very dirty at least in the balcony. We highly recommend this place!"

  • Excellent Accommodations for a Week in Bonaire August 28 – September 3, 2016

"We are avid travelers and prefer smaller hotels and rental homes. We love simple, not overly complicated and adventurous travel. Leanne and Tim’s Apartment #1 far exceeded my expectations. It has everything anyone going to Bonaire would need and want. The place is modestly decorated, clean, spacious, a fully equipped kitchen, parking, Wi-Fi, and a telephone for local calls. One of the best things about Beachcomber Villas Bonaire is the location. It has one of the most spectacular views of the reef - aka The Cliff as well as direct access. You not only get to enjoy the view from the huge second floor balcony but you can actually snorkel and dive right from the back of the property – nothing to describe this but AMAZING. Our experience started with booking the villa apartment – I got a response from the owners within 4 hours of booking and was told the place was available for the week we were traveling. Once the booking was complete Leanne had suggested things to do. She has the “ask me anything attitude” and “I’ll help you out in anyway” without being overbearing, this meant a lot since it was our first visit to Bonaire. Her suggestions were spot on for first time visitors – Woodwind Snorkel Tour, driving Washington Slagbaai National Park and cave exploration and snorkeling with FLOW Bonaire. She also arranged for our car rental through Easy1Rent – another amazing experience. A few days before we arrived Leanne sent an email with info about staying at Beachcomber Villas Bonaire and the week’s events going on in and around town during our stay. She also provided a very detailed map on how to get from the airport to the villa. She also asked for emergency contact information – awesome idea since you never know. Upon arriving at the villa apartment we were given the keys and showed around the entire villa. Leanne even provided some beverages for us to enjoy while unwinding from the flight. The communication with the owners was excellent from the time of the booking, all through the week and right up to the time we arrived back in Chicago. Leanne and Tim are great – they care about their guests and treat you like extended family. This place is perfect! Great location, attractive and comfortable villa apartments and attentive homeowners – when wanted. Overall we were very impressed with EVERYTHING and look forward to another trip to Bonaire and Beachcomber Villas Bonaire. Thank you Leanne and Tim."

  • Awesome!

"We stayed for a week over Christmas, and everything went great. The local manager, Karin, met us at the apartment and showed us how everthing worked, and made sure we had what we needed. The penthouse is very well equipped and has everything that you will need, including a cell phone with Karin's number in case you need to get in contact with her. We didn't though, as everything went smoothly. We used the barbeque grill on the deck several times, and what a great view overlooking the water. Just a short walk to the center of town, with plenty of bars and restaraunts nearby. If you are diving, Karin gave us a 20% discount coupon for all our diving with Dive Friends Bonaire. Herman, the owner, was good to work with via email during the booking process. As a previous poster mentioned there was some noise, but it most definitely was not a problem. This will be where we stay again the next time we rerurn to Bonaire."

  • Great house in a great location

"This is a great property with a great location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood north of town but close enough for easy access to any services or restaurants in town. It’s also well on the way to the dozens of the northern west coast dive sites so you're at the first with a five minute drive. The standout feature upstairs are beautiful louvered hardwood sliding doors that fan-fold and make the walls disappear so that the house opens up to great airflow, wraparound decks, views of the ocean and a feeling of being completely outdoors. We're foodies and appreciated the kitchen-- very modern, nicely laid out and well equipped. And with the sliders open it's a few steps out to a great breakfast view in the morning and cocktails in the evening. All the downstairs bedrooms have their own split A/C units, generous storage areas and the same type of louvered hardwood doors that let them be closed and private or open and airy. There’s a lot to do and see on Bonaire so there were lots of activities competing for our attention but if you want a lazy end of the day it’s a pleasant walk thru the neighborhood to the closest beaches for sunsets into the water. The house is a great home base for any mix of Bonaire visit activities."
