  • Lovely house, stunning views.

"We just returned from Villa Majita. The property was exactly like the photos and it has everything needed including a cooler and beach chairs. Tom and Jessica answered all my questions before we arrived and even unpacked my groceries I ordered online so that everything was ready for us. We rented the car from Tom and Jessica and it worked out perfectly. You need a car if plan to stay anywhere on this island. A 4x4!! There is a folder in the house with great beach recommendations and all were stunning. We had the beaches to ourselves most days - even when the cruise ships were in. There are plenty of restaurants around so make sure to visit a few. We thought the simple places were just as good as the fancy spots. Overall our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had every comfort at this property and a relaxing vacation. Would highly recommend Tortola and Villa Majilta."

  • NIRVANA DEFINED

"The definition of Nirvana is a state of perfect happiness; an ideal or idyllic place. This also defines Kerensa House. We planned an 8-day charter sail of the BVI's and afterwards a few nights stay at Kerensa House. Our sailing trip had totally relaxed us...or so we thought. When we arrived at Kerensa house, we made our way through a wooded area down the long rock stairway and discovered a spot so serene that we did not want to leave. Everything about Kerensa house characterizes a perfect Caribbean getaway. Terra cotta stucco trimmed in Caribbean blues, open dining area (just calling for a dinner party), a cool blue and white bedroom furnished with a most-comfortable 4-poster bed complete with a crystal chandelier in the sitting area and a bathroom to die for with an outdoor shower. A perfectly appointed great-room includes antiques, artwork, and books, a kitchen on one end, a sofa that folds out and high-tech WiFi, TV, Bose speakers and A/C. The house's balconies and porches have rocking chairs or lounges for sleeping, reading or day-dreaming. But the real calming effect comes when you step out to the vista. The infinity pool stretches out over a 180º view of The Caribbean Sea with tiny sailboats catching the wind up and down the waterway, silhouettes of distant islands and drop dead sunsets. Behind the pool finds a pergola with a vine of wisteria-type purple blossoms and comfy seating. We have been visiting the BVI's since 1976...sailing and renting houses. I can only say this...DO NOT MISS the Kerensa House experience...it's one of a kind...and you will leave with a real sense of tranquility."

  • Annette

"Casa Luna is a hidden gem! It's nestled beneath the beautiful tamarind trees so it stays nice and cool. Casa Luna is great for a small family getaway or even for a couple. It has a nice working kitchen and the bath is a good size too. It's pretty private and only a 3 min walk to the beach called Spring Bay. The water is amazing and the snorkling is spectacular! If you need snorkel gear, you can just walk next door and rent it from Tina at Guava Berry. There is also a cute little commissary where you can get food and happy hours beverages if you don't want to go into town. We can't wait to go back to VG and stay in our favorite little hide away, Casa Luna."
