  • Lovely Villa in a Spectacular Setting

"We agree completely with the numerous other positive reviews. They are so uniformly excellent that there is no need for a repeat. We found that the compact architectural layout of the main structure/pool deck/guest room fit beautifully for the two of us and would for four as well. It was all extremely comfortable for our needs. The kitchen appeared fully equipped, but we chose to eat dinners out. (The excellent meals at the nearby Sugar Mill restaurant became our regular choice.) We have cruised these waters several times but this was our first on-island stay. Reviews elsewhere had warned that our rented Suzuki Jimney would be significantly underpowered on numerous stretches, as indeed it was. Our next trip will opt for a model with increased horsepower. We learned that it helps to bring your sense of humor and adventure when negotiating the numerous switchbacks and frequently very steep pitches so characteristic of the hillside back roads (roads?). Samantha & JC at Villas of Tortola provided uniformly prompt and excellent assistance with questions during our planning and booking process. Dede’s rental provided smooth car drop off and pickup. If in the area do not fail to enjoy very nearby Smuggler’s Cove. This beautiful beach and its extensive sandy swimming area are not to be missed."

  • Ace's all the way-

"Just finished a great 2 week trip to Tortola in this wonderful Villa. My wife & I have been traveling to VRBO's for 12 years - a different Carribean island each year. This was a top 3 for sure. First, the communication between the owner and myself, then with Villa Manager (Cassandra) was exceptional. The little details that are helpful prior to arrival were quickly answered. The directions from West-End were perfect. There is always a adjustment driving on the "other side" along with roads I was not accustomed to - these directions were spot on. The location of the Villa is ideal. A few min drive to Cane Garden Bay -3 happy hours daily with live music, great restaurants -Tony's, Mietts, Quito's and music every night of the week. (If you can catch Quito with his full band on a Saturday it awesome ...standing room only!) West end is only 15 min drive, town is just over 20 min away. Smuggles Cove, our favorite beach was wonderful. Stop by the makeshift bar, say hello to Nigel and if Andrew is cooking the fish is it is a treat for $ 15.00. We also enjoyed the BBQ at Sillies in Carrot bay 8 min away and Thelma's near the airport. Cassandra, the mgr is very wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The villa is outstanding. Pride of ownership is through-out. The villa was well built and in great repair. Some VRBO's we have visited the photo's were not representative of the view, condition, etc. (One Villa we stayed at in Bon Aire there was a satellite dish was in the center of the view.!!!!..) The photos of this villa accurately depict the villa. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bedrooms / bathrooms are large and comfortable. The view is wonderful - you can not see a neighbor, the pool area is very private. Villa is well designed. Easy day trips to Jost Van Dyke and Norman Island on two different ferry's - a great time on both islands. Congrats's to the owners for owning / running a top notch VRBO. I would highly recommend this Villa."

  • Couldn't have asked for more!

"A group of friends and I stayed for two weeks at Limeberry House. Our group comprised of 5 adults and one toddler. We arrived late at night due to flight times and were greeted by the owners who settled us in and made us feel at home. They showed us around the villa and made the time to show us how things worked and where everything was. They also took the time to let us know more about the island including the best places to shop, eat, visit and who to contact for day trips. As if that wasn't enough they had kindly provided us with essential supplies to keep us going for the first few days, including home favorites like Waitrose tea! The villa looked amazing by night, however come the morning, I was amazed by the villa and the vista which offered a great view out over Long Bay. The villa is a short 10 minute walk from the gorgeous Smugglers Cove, which is everything you hope and expect a Caribbean beach to be. Soper's Hole marina is also a short drive away and a great spot to charter a day's sailing. The villa has a lovely sized pool which heats up nicely during the day and is great for cooling off in after a trip to the beach. The two washing machines and dryers also really came in handy for a two week stay. The villa's welcome booked also recommended local restaurants, including D'Coalpot which serves great local food. All in all we had a wonderful two week stay in Tortola. The BVI really is beautiful and the islanders are so welcoming and our hosts really made us feel welcome and went to such great lengths to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It is fair to say that I will be going back!"

  • Lovely!

"A lovely apartment with the soothing sound of waves audible all night and the sights of the sea all day. The shared pool is a welcome respite after a hard day at the beach. The flat is well-appointed in a unit of 4 villas; private but not isolated. There is good beach walking and walking around the area, a few decent restaurants within walking distance, but a jeep is a must-have."
