  • beautifull villa with astonishing view

"We have had a wonderful time in the Canefield villa. A more than beautiful garden, lovely house and a view just as in a movie. Nice and quiet setting."

  • Great View/Open and Airy/Great Location

"Oceana was a great fit for me and my family for our '16 spring break trip. While Tortola takes a little more effort to get to than other islands (1 hour ferry from St Thomas plus BVI customs), the benefits are worth it. The island is more like St John than St Thomas while offering a home base for day trips to Jost van Dyke and Virgin Gorda. Oceana is located on the preferred west end of Tortola with convenient access to all the best beaches and restaurants on the island. Oceana is open and airy with great high volume ceilings that frame unbelievable panoramic views of St. John and Jost van Dyke. Photos do not do the view justice, the views from the pool and wrap around porch are spectacular. The accommodations within the house are comfortable and appropriate. The drive up to the house is typical for caribbean secondary roads and may be a challenge for some as it is narrow and steep, but you get used to it quickly."

  • Relaxing, enjoyable time.

"We were very comfortable here after staying in the same house for many years, which was unavailable this time. We booked this sight unseen but were very familiar with the area. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. We only dined out 3 nights and cooked in the other 7, used the grill on the patio, enjoyed the view and peace and quiet. I'm an early riser so walked to Smuggler's Cove every morning at daylight and enjoyed seeing only my footprints on the beach. We enjoyed the small pool also, nice added convenience. Looking forward to returning!"
