  • Great Locale, Wheels, and Laid Back Adventure

"Connie (the owner) was excellent in communications, sent me lots of "what to do / where to go" lists prior to arriving at OYV. The Suzuki "jeep" was great for getting anywhere and having a local plate made it that much easier to park without hassle. The condo was just off the main road heading across the VG, and very close to SpanishTown. Comfortable 2bdrm with air, although we rarely used it with the TradeWinds and screen doors! Facilities were available onsite, but we didn't really use them because we were going everywhere! Staff are excellent!! There was some "critique" I read about roosters crowing. Well, welcome to the Islands, man! I have been on many islands, and roosters crow, whether you are in the country or right in town. It is part of the life. Highly recommend Connie's place. You will not be disappointed."

  • Awesome place with awesome service

"We stayed here for a week during our recent week long dive vacation. The Villa itself has quite a bit of room, and easily held our 8 folks in 5 bedrooms. The pool and hot tub were great to have and were well used. There is enough seating for eating meals inside or out; and lounging around inside or out. The pool and outside area of the Villa had an assortment of lounge chairs, chairs with ottomans and simple chairs. There were also beach chairs we didn't get to use. The outside area also has a nice combination of covered and non-covered areas, so depending on whether or not you want sun or shade, it's all there. The views out over the bay were awesome. As the week went on, we were pretty convinced there is nothing you would ever need in a Villa that wasn't somewhere on the premises. As an example, we looked for an ice cream scoop and finally found there were actually 2 of them. In addition to the well supplied Villa, Tiina (spelled the "correct" way) was awesome to deal with. From the get go, she wasn't concerned about getting a deposit there in 24-48 hours like others asked for. Final payment was also a breeze. She also had plenty of info on getting there, where to shop, eat and things to do. She also lives right there, so anything that comes up during the stay, it's easy to find her to get it fixed. Her laid back attitude made it a very pleasant stay. All 8 of our group said they'd come back and stay here in a heartbeat. It was a great week, especially combined with diving with Sunchaser based right near the Villa."

  • A Great Place To Stay While Visiting Virgin Gorda

"My wife and I stayed at Coppermine Cottage while staying on Virgin Gorda. We absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. The sunsets are amazing to watch while dining or just relaxing outside under the covered porch area. The house has a great view and is quiet during the night. (Except for the occasional downpours of rain, which we also enjoyed very much). If you like the sound of rain you will enjoy. The owner responds to any questions quickly and there is a property manager just a phone call away if needed. The property is well maintained. (Landscape, pool, etc.) We would recommend this to our friends and family without a second thought."

  • Perfect Tropical Paradise Villa

"Virgin Gorda's Mahoe Bay and its long, quiet sandy beach is the most beautiful, restorative, and peaceful ocean living I have ever experienced. Loblolly is perfect - a well-designed luxurious villa. I spend about two weeks at Loblolly every year with wife and family, but it's large enough for several families all at once. There are four idyllic master bedrooms with king size beds and private bathrooms, each with its own outdoor shower, and a pair of bedrooms for kids. The pool is surrounded by a lounging area and all the tropical foliage you could want. When we're in the house and not at the beach, we're almost always outside on the shaded upper patio which is large enough for at least twelve people to lounge, eat, drink, grill, and watch the spectacular sunset over the ocean. There's also a spacious, comfortable great room just inside as well as a very nice kitchen. And you have to experience the beach to believe it's real: quiet, sandy, and beautiful. The water is warm, calm, and crystal clear so the swimming is fantastic, as is the snorkeling along the coral reef where we see parrot fish, squid, and sea turtles just to name a few. Mahoe Bay is near the center of the island, so, via car, we're about ten minutes from anywhere on the island. What else? Management is friendly and always available, and they keep the house looking great all the time. Loblolly is really amazing."
