  • On the Beach!!

"This is a beautiful villa right on the beach. We stayed here with our 3 small children and it was perfect for us. To be so close to the beach with small kids was extremely helpful. The water is very calm at the beach and the kids loved it. We ate in Spanish Town a few nights and Exceptional Villas organised a chef for 3 nights for us at the villa and he was superb! Really looking forward to coming back."

  • Fantastic views, great beach

"My wife and I spent the 3rd week of September at villa Moonlit Sea and had a wonderful time. The island was very slow and most restaurants were closed including the Nail Bay facility 2 minutes down the road, but that was OK as we knew this going in and had the island to ourselves. The view off the private deck takes in a great western vista of the Drake Channel with sunsets over Tortola. There are villas on either side with a shared walkway in the front (uphill or kitchen side), so it's not completely private, but we had minimal intrusion. The short hike down to Mountain Trunk beach was delightful and it had some of the best snorkeling as advertised. Savannah Bay was another favorite. We loved the view from Virgin Gorda Peak and the Copper Mine and spent a day on Anegada which was a highlight day-long adventure; again, we were the only tourists on the direct ferry over from VG and had Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach to ourselves. The villa is well appointed. We packed a couple of frozen rib eyes, some homemade frozen meatballs and sauce and a leftover chicken dish down with us in a soft freezer bag (still 90% frozen after flying in and ferrying over) with us which made meals easy. We imagined that we'd have an even more enjoyable time when more things are open, but we planned on a low key tropical vacation, and villa MLS delivered. Thanks to Miss Grace and Apu for making our stay easy!"

  • Wonderful stay in Villa Bigger Splash

"Our stay in Bigger Splash was wonderful. Very large house with lots of room to spread out. Loved the open floor plan. We opened all the doors and the breeze flowing throughout was great. Bedrooms are separate so traveling with friends gave each one their own room with bath. The pool was gorgeous with a lovely private tropical setting. Very lush tropical plants and trees around pool. Loved cooking on grill and enjoying coffee on lookout deck. The property is very private and so quite. We walked to The Baths. Had great lunch at Top of the Baths restaurant. Swam and snorkeled at Spring Bay Beach. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Virgin Gorda is a very quite island and a great location for a perfectly quite getaway...and Bigger Splash made our visit very special and we hope to return again soon. Thanks Josette for making the planning so easy and also to Debbie who met us at the pier and took us to Bigger Splash. Mahogany car rental is the best. Our 3rd. rental from Mahogany and each time the service was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Trish and friends from Chesterfield, VA"

  • Christmas atAnam Cara

"Our family stayed at Anam Cara for 11 nights over Christmas 2016. Marie was an outstanding host helping us secure a private chef, giving us ideas on boat rentals and dive shops. She was there when we reached out when the power went out on the island - there is a back-up generator so we never missed a beat. The home is stunning and perfectly suited for three couples and children or just large families. The views from the house overlooking Little Bay were mesmerizing. The kitchen was fully appointed in case you want to stay in and cook - we used the grill by the pool often along with the swim up seating and bar. The home has air conditioning in each room which we used mostly in the main part of the house and at nights in our rooms. There would only be two things that I would say was not what we expected - not big things though. First, The bay is not easy to just walk down and swim in. After you get out 10-15 feet, it is great but you need to get over rocks so bring water shoes. Second, our group seemed to be susceptible to getting bitten on the back patio. However, no one else remarked on this in other reviews so it may have just been our timing. The house is close to Gun Creek so we took the water taxi over to Saba Rock and Bitter end for dinners. Lunches or just to hang out. Overall, it is a fantastic place to stay and see Virgin Gorda."
