  • Highly recommend this house for a large family that likes to have fun together!

"We stayed here March 20- 27, 2016. We had 3 couples and 7 kids ages 14 through 8 in our group. This was the perfect house for us!! Upon arriving, Karen met us and gave us a tour of the beautiful home. The photos do not do it justice! This house is gorgeous. She pointed out that the previous renters had broken a few things and assured us they would take care of it….for example, Karen had to run out to Walmart to buy a new coffee pot. Each room has its own A/C unit…which was great since not everyone in our group agreed on the temperature setting. That first night, we cooked dinner in the fully stocked kitchen and ate outside together in the private backyard with a nice large table surrounded by fountains, statues, and the swimming pool. One day, 4 of us rode the bikes provided to ride around Condado….we felt perfectly safe by the way. This house was in a great location to walk to the beach and various restaurants. It was also a nice distance to drive to PaddleParadise, less than an hour, to the rainforest, about an hour, and Old San Juan, about 10 minutes. One day, the garbage disposal and dishwasher had problems and Pablo came out the same day to fix both. He was very friendly and gave us suggestion on where to go salsa dancing. I agree with the other reviewer….the rooms were set up a little weird. You had to walk through one bedroom to get to the next, but this also did not bother us at all. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of privacy. This house was more than just a place to stay while on a trip....it truly added to our Puerto Rico vacation experience."

"Great location. Right on beach. Condo was nice but needs to be updated. Beach was not crowded and the people at the resort are very hospitable. Location is so close to airport and many great restaurants and bars Simpson bay was isolated from most winds"

  • Fabulous view

"Fabulous view from the 6th floor balcony, sun rising just across the horizon. Sunny all day while the roof of the balcony lets you enjoy it after 10 AM in the shade as well. Charming decoration inside, spacious for a one-room apt. Clean, everything working. Secure, with the steel-grid door, though that gives it the look of, well, some other kind of place. Convenient parking right in the complex. The local manager Eduardo was very helpful. We texted with him all the way in to find the condo. El Yunque National Park is close by, about 25 minutes. Easy to get there. A must-see. The posh El Conquistador Resort is next to the condo-complex and highly visible in the ad, but it's off limits. Now and then the gate was unlocked, so we sneaked in but they don't let you on the ferry to Palomino Island or into the pool. The other side of the condo-complex, from which you approach it, is less appealing. Couple of restaurants and a park for kids to play but no stores or beach in walking distance. A car is an absolute must."

  • Best Ever

"Just returned from SXM and already missing the villa. We've been fortunate to visit a number of wonderful destinations and stay at great properties. Topaz 6 was the best - hands down. It starts with a hassle free arrival. The location is perfect - easy access to French and Dutch attractions but situated on a quite part of the island, a nice grocery and a couple of restaurants across the street. The is a ton of space - we traveled with our three teens and had a ton of space to spread out (and lots of opportunities to come back together). Shocked to find a whole other floor ground level with two additional day beds! All of the furnishings and appliances were top end. Our kids loved the elevator. However, the views make this property special. We loved sitting in the pool or on the top balcony and watching the cruise ships and arriving planes ... or just looking down at the beach and beautiful water. As the week went on, we were all content to just spend the day at this refuge. Lastly, don't underestimated the benefits of having Rayna provide housekeeping services. Hoping to return."
