  • LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

"My partner and my 2 teenage boys, age 16 and 17 arrived for a 2 week holiday in the upper level. We were met by the lovely Manager, who showed us round and answered any questions we had, he was very courteous and helpful. The first thing that hits you when you walk into the villa is the truly outstanding view. You are right on the beach, it is not called Sea Spray for nothing, the only sound you could hear at night was the waves lashing against the property below. The villa has everything you need, including excellent wi-fi. We stopped off on our way to the villa to purchase essentials, we really didn't need to as the little shop in Moontown, 100 metres away, called St Elmo's had everything we needed and more, you can also purchase hot food take away from here. I would recommend one big shop then just topping up at this store as it really is very competitively priced. Only thing it lacked was fresh meat so you could purchase enough of this on your one big shop, freeze it and manage just with a top up at the local store. St Elmo's also has the local bar opposite which had entertainment Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, Karaoke on a Friday and Sunday with limbo dancing. There is also a restaurant next door to this bar which has quite a reputation for its Fish Fry on a Friday evening. We would normally hire a car but as we were so well located for public transport we didn't bother. The buses stop just outside the villa and will take you for $2, all the way down to Bridgetown, going through Speightstown and Holetown and passing all the lovely beaches on the way. We got on the yellow Regge, Regge bus, so called because it plays Regge music on your journey. We found the bus such fun and got to chat to many locals whilst travelling. The villa itself is just as described, nicely furnished with a very homely feel. Guests were in the villa below us for our 1st week but privacy was not an issue, we didn't even notice anyone was there. You can go down the steps at the side of the property and you are straight into the sea, fantastic for snorkelling. About 50 metres away from the property is a lovely little beach, we had sole use of this beach while we were there. You could walk along this beach to the Fish Pot Restaurant, we sat on the seat at the end of their jetty and watched the most amazing sun sets. This really is a beautiful un-spoilt place to spend a Caribbean holiday, we intend to return."

  • Excellent place to stay

"My husband and I recently stayed at this rental for the second time. The last time was 2 years ago. Both times we found this lovely apartment to be comfortable, clean, convenient, and safe. It's quiet and secure. This place has everything you need to feel at home. The balcony is a great place to have your morning coffee. It's a quick walk to the beach and also to the little downtown area where there is an Art Fair on the plaza on Thursday evenings, and a Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. It's a short drive to anything else in Rincon. Ismael is efficient and professional, and makes himself available for any needs. We would not hesitate to recommend this fine property."

  • The Best Honeymoon Getaway

"My wife and I were so blessed to find this place for our honeymoon. It was an adventure! The listing was more than what the photographs could even attempt to convey. It was perfect! If we could have stayed there another week, we would have in a heart beat! The property was beyond well maintained and cleaned and there were so many utensils to promote spending time in the cottage. If you are considering the island of Culebra, this is a place you need to stay. The incredible sunrises, sunsets, and views throughout the day are priceless and something a resort can't replicate. Some places near that we really enjoyed Dinghy Dock, Zaco's Tacos, & Sweet and Naughty! Do Mike's Sailing! Riding on a sailboat all day for a good price too! These are musts in Culebra!"
