  • Secluded Island Getaway

"Paul & Maggie have a gem of an oceanfront getaway here! We spent three lovely weeks, and had complete privacy - not a single person came by in our time here. The house is complete with everything you need, from cooking to cleaning to hanging out on the beach. The ocean was too rough during most of our stay to swim in front of the house, but it wasn't an issue as you only have to run over to the other side of the island for snorkeling and diving heaven. The main house a/c was down for parts during our stay, but the bedroom a/c was able to keep the house comfortable and the humidity down during our stay. The back porch is incredible, and we spent most of our time hanging there in one of the two hammocks that were large enough to accommodate my 6/4 270# frame! We brought frozen meat and wine in with us for the trip, and the grocery stores kept us fully stocked on everything else we needed. We loved the island enough that we are considering it for our retirement location. Don't come here if you're looking for fast night life with huge parties - the sidewalks are rolled up by 7 pm! But that's just the right time for stargazing - the night skies are amazing. And the diving lives up to the Cayman's expectation - it is simply the best place in the world! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and again . . .and again . . . and again!"

  • Great Location and Relaxing

"This was our first trip to the Brac and the house was great. It is located on the south side with an excellent view of the water. It was relaxing lying on the porch in the hammock listening to the waves crashing and feeling the cool ocean breeze. The house itself was open and airy with all the necessities one needed including flashlights for nearby cave exploration. The manager was great in that he helped us with some issues that came up, and the owners were very responsive. The location was very central to everything. Although it isn’t a great beach for going into the water due to the iron shore (don’t forget to bring some good water boots), there are an abundance of places not that far away and the public beach is just a few miles down the road. Walking down on the iron shore by the water’s edge provides an opportunity to see things not normally seen on a sandy beach and if you are a sheller, you will have no issues finding some unique shells. Some advice, when flying into the island from Miami, pack a few things in your carry on that you will need right away. Oftentimes the airlines will have a delay with luggage and you may not get your bags until the next day. Bring lots of sunscreen and bug spray. Both the sun and bugs are abundant and these products are costly to buy on island. Also, buy duty free alcohol in Miami and bring it to the island with you. Alcohol is costly there. With all that said, the island is amazing and the house was a relaxing place to enjoy it with everything you will need to have a great vacation!"

  • This getaway has all of the amenities you could possibly want!

"I was looking for a quiet retreat and that's exactly what I got. The house was supplied perfectly and the Catetaker made sure we had everything we needed for our stay in Cayman Brac. If there's anything you need, just ask- they're more than willing to help your stay be the best ever. I loved every element of the house - and now I'd like to bring my sisters with me for another visit very soon."

  • amazing getaway

"The property was perfect. The house is right near the water which allowed us to snorkel at the property. It was wonderful to have it so close. The sunsets were beautiful off the porch. The house was perfect. It was clean with comfy beds and pillows. We were very close to stores, restaurants, and other snorkeling spots. Our mornings were filled with snorkeling while our afternoons were filled with caving. We do recommend if you want to have an excursion to Little Cayman get it booked early because there are not many charter boats available."
