  • Idyllic spot for our family!

"From airport greeting through to the final "farewell", our experience at Island Time was simply awesome! Our family of divers loved the property, the tranquility and the amenities. Being on Brac over Christmas was restful and great... even though the wind did not cooperate! There were cute little touches everywhere and we simply couldn't leave without adding our "mark" to the visitor pole. Thanks for leaving the craft supplies to do so! My only advice would be to bring some good knives... almost lost a limb trying to cut some chicken! Thanks for an awesome property experience!"

  • Relaxing with a view.

"We were met at Kirkconnell airport by the car rental people as well as Bonnie and her husband Gene. We followed them to Carib Sands and they showed us to their unit. We were pleasantly surprised because of the size, amenities and view we had from the balcony. Bonnie explained many different things about the Island and had a shore diving guide for our use. She was very helpful in telling us about the many things that we could do on the Island. She had us meet her friend and fellow conservationist to help dig up a turtle nest to count the eggs of those that hatched and to count those that didn't hatch. It was very interesting. She also told us about the free Island tour we could take. It was very informative and we did tip the young men that took us around. They were very proud of the Island. The condo is on the west end so it was near the airport, dive shops (Brac Scuba Shack and Reef Divers), food markets and several restaurants. I would highly recommend this condo not only because of the price, location and amenities, but because of Bonnie Scott and helpfulness with anything we asked. A very pleasant stay. Thank you Bonnie."

  • Stunning, relaxed beach getaway!

"From the driveway this home looks like a cute beach cottage. Until you open the front door. Then your entire group says, "Wow!", in unison. The Caribbean Sea is just in front of the living room and pool/deck area! The home is open with vaulted ceilings; everything is crisp and clean and newly renovated. It is functional, relaxed and beautifully decorated. I love that the 3 main bedrooms have their own bathrooms. There's a powder room as well. I think you have a view of the sea from every niche in the home except maybe the laundry (though if you put the drying rack in the screened porch, you can see the sea as you hang clothes!) We loved every aspect of this house. Cayman Brac is a small island, but offers lots to do if you are so inclined. We did several of the walking trails, explored caves, visited the museum and Heritage House and tried many of the restaurants. Working with Melissa was a delight. She's prompt to respond and supplies a great amount of information ahead of time as well as in the house manual. My husband and I have rented several properties in the Caribbean as well as in other parts of the world. The Bach @ Brac is definitely one of my very favorite places! We went out exploring every morning, yet I found myself wanting to return to "my home" earlier each day that passed. I would have been thrilled to have never left the cottage the entire trip. To be able to see the ocean all day and fall asleep to the sound of the waves is priceless."

  • Great House for the Price

"House was perfect for what we needed - a no frills beachhouse. Views were great. Wouldn't recommend for toddlers, as the beach as it goes into the water is pretty rocky with lots of sea urchins. For kids of swimming age though, they can navigate it easy enough as long as seas are calm. Besides, there are public beaches on the island that are sand and easy entry for any age. This house is a GREAT VALUE - nothing fancy, but has all you need. Anyway, anybody going to Cayman Brac shouldn't be going for sitting in a house all day, you should be snorkeling, diving, fishing, exploring. This house was perfect - comfortable and very reasonably priced."
