  • Very Peaceful Piece of Paradise

"We just returned from a week at this wonderful property. It was very clean and extremely well stocked. The staff on site was quite helpful. If you want peace and quiet this is a good place for you. The snorkeling in front is just like depicted in the pictures. It is next to Rum Point where there is a bar, restaurant and water sport rentals. If you want to be where all of the action and tourist attractions are this location will require a drive across the island a minimum or 45 minutes. There are several restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Don't miss the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Gardens. We loved our week here and hope to return again some day."

  • Rum Point Retreat

"Our family of four from Boston ( two adults & two teens) arrived at the condo for some relaxation after spending a fun but hectic week on seven mile beach. The condo was perfect, lots of space and well equipped. The view of the beach from the screened in porch was lovely. It was great being right next door to the public Rum Point beach with snack bar, restaurant, shop, and watersports, but still having our own private, quiet beach to ourselves. It was like being in a resort but with our own space, and much better value. To be so close to the beach, with so many amenities, and still feel secluded is very rare. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach (saw Sting Rays, Lion fish, Barracuda, Cuttlefish and many more) trip to Sting Ray City with Red Sail Sports (go late in the day when no cruise ships are in), sunset at Starfish Point, and the nearby caves tour (fantastic stalactites and stalagmites). Eating out options are fairly limited if you don't want to drive so stock up on groceries before coming. There is a small supermarket about 10 minutes away for basics). This is the perfect location to rest and unwind after spending time on the other side of the island. Thanks for a great stay."

  • Love Love Love this location!

"This was our second trip to Grand Cayman, and our second stay at The Retreat at Rum Point! This condo was exactly what we wanted! Extremely spacious for the 4 of us to stay comfortably. The extra half bath came in handy! Plenty of towels, snorkeling gear, floats, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn't cook often. Location is perfect as we walked to the Wreck Bar and Grill for lunches, and took advantage of the Red Sail next door. We highly recommend the Stingray City tour, the jet ski tours, and the paddleboarding. Snorkeling right outside the condo door was some of the best on the island! The beach is literally steps away, and we snorkeled almost daily. We were lucky to see conch, lobster, stingrays, and too many colorful fish to name! The bedrooms are perfect, as we had a king bed in one room and two twins in the other. Both full baths are great, and roomy. Closets and drawers were great for unpacking and really enjoying our stay. Ocean views from every room! We also enjoyed the screened in porch during the thunderstorm that occurred while we were there. Couch in the living room pulls out into a sleeper if you needed more sleeping space. We didn't spend much time indoors, but the kitchen, dining area, and living room had plenty of room for us. We appreciated all of the information that was left in the condo about restaurants, things to do, and history of the island. Also plenty of books on the shelves for reading on the beach. Ice machine kept up with us all week, and we took advantage of the coolers in the hall closet to bring drinks when enjoying the beach. We will definitely be back to this condo at The Retreat. Our stay could not have been more perfect!"

  • Wonderful Getaway

"My wife and I were able to spend a lovely 4 day getaway without kids at Kaibo Yacht Club. What a great escape. The condo is very well equipped and beautifully located right next to the water and overlooking the pool. The view from the screened deck looks like a postcard. My wife, who sunburns very easily was able to enjoy laying out on the community beach chaise lounges under the shade of very mature palm trees. The stress of the city immediately melted away. Enjoyed meals and drinks at Kaibo restaurant. Had great meal at the Monday BBQ at Rum Point. We explored the North and East side of the island (found some fantastic deserted beaches) and loved the feel of the East side. We toured the Queens Botanical Gardens and ate at the recommended Kurts Korner (my wife said it was the best grilled vegetables she's ever had). Mark was very good at getting back to us quickly with any questions. Everything was ready for us, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Community has many locals who were very friendly, you don't feel as if you are in a tourist trap area. We look forward to coming back and this time we might even bring the kids. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer."
