  • My Cayman Kai Wedding stay

"I had to add we fixed the ice machine! I read the comment from the April honeymooners...There was tons of Ice build up in the inside of the freezer my husband had to break away from the shoot to allow the ice to flow again! Thank God for marrying a maintenance man! Lisa Jackson Richardson"

  • Very Peaceful Piece of Paradise

"We just returned from a week at this wonderful property. It was very clean and extremely well stocked. The staff on site was quite helpful. If you want peace and quiet this is a good place for you. The snorkeling in front is just like depicted in the pictures. It is next to Rum Point where there is a bar, restaurant and water sport rentals. If you want to be where all of the action and tourist attractions are this location will require a drive across the island a minimum or 45 minutes. There are several restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Don't miss the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Gardens. We loved our week here and hope to return again some day."

  • Rum Point Retreat A Special Place

"I just returned from Cayman Islands and the fabulous Retreat at Rum Point with my son and brother and sister-in-law. What an unforgettable week we had at the perfect getaway. I had never visited Cayman Islands before but it was all the pictures depict and so much more especially when it came to our fabulous accommodations at the Retreat. There couldn't have been a more perfect location for us right on the point and next door to the dock, grill and some of the best snorkeling around. We would literally walk out the back door and be snorkeling in less than 60 seconds. The retreat was bright and clean and had everything we needed with tons of water toys, even a grill outside the door for the fish we caught on the reef. Plenty of TVs for those who like them and the wifi is great for checking out things around the island after a day of adventures! The owners, Katrina and Matt, were super responsive and very concerned that we had everything we needed or wanted. We cooked almost every day because we loved hanging out at our retreat, but ate out at some wonderful restaurants for lunch and dinner occasionally. Fruity frozen drinks and mudslides are right next door if you need them. It was not crowded at all and easy to navigate from the first moment you arrive. The management office personnel was helpful as well. We snorkeled every day following the detailed directions from the owners, fished, visited stingray city and even enjoyed the bioluminescence kayak tour they suggested. I highly recommend visiting Rum Point and enjoying the comfortable bedrooms, quiet resort, the wonderful morning sunrise walks down the private beaches and sunset happy hours on your lanai."

  • Exceptional stay!

"We are seasoned travelers and always prefer to rent condos or homes while vacationing. This was one of the best overall places we have stayed. It was one of, if not, the cleanest condo we have ever stayed at. From the timely response to inquire about booking, cleanliness, to the location of the quiet beautiful area of the Kaibo Yacht Club, beautiful views from the condo (plantation shutters that can be opened widely for an unobstructed view from the master, equipped kitchen, use of a kayak and bikes, and extremely reasonable rates this stay is exceptional. I would give it six stars if I could! We traveled with two adults and three college students and had plenty of room. The Kaibo Yacht club grill/restaurant had just enough action (live music, dancing on some nights) to satisfy us but still make us feel we were not an overly populated area. Starfish Point, a short walk away, really made our trip. We would take an early morning walk, run, or bike ride only to end it at Starfish Point with a secluded, cooling swim with the starfish and resident stingray! Having traveled to most of the islands in the Caribbean, Grand Cayman is one of the nicest and easiest islands to adapt to no matter your traveling experience. For those who would like to experience the unique benefits of diving but don't have the certification, there is great alternative for you through a company called Seafarers Adventurers that offers Snookling. The staff was super friendly, offered great instruction and was extremely patient with those in our party that expressed a little bit of anxiety about this new experience. We will be back...sooner than later!"
