  • Great stay!! Loved it!!

"We truly enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean, lovely and exactly as described. Beach area and pool were well kept. Proximity to the Kaibo restaurant and amenities was very convenient, just a short beach stroll to lunch/dinner and activities. Property is ideally located away from the traffic and bustle of 7 mile area, and close to lovely Rum Point beach and club. Recommend getting supplies/groceries at any of multiple larger stores on the Georgetown side before driving around to the condo, as very limited groceries at the local market. Would definitely stay again on future visit. Thank you so much for sharing your home."

  • Great for 4 of us

"We stayed a week at the best spot on the whole island. It was on a beautiful beach (just as great as 7 mile beach AND a lot more private) that we didn't have to share with anyone! Water was so warm and crystal clear. No rocks to step on and it was ankle to waist deep for at least 150 yds out. With the exception of one day, the water was very calm. There are initially some short weeds to wade through and beyond that it is just white sand. Great area for using the 2 kayaks that come with the house. This is away from all the tourists and buzz of Georgetown and worth the 40 min drive away from all of that. Close to 2 bars/restaurants (walk or bike) and bike ride to Starfish point. Short distance to liquor/grocery stores. Beach has 4 lounge chairs, 2 little tables and a hammock to relax on -- and plenty of areas for either shade or sun. Some boats & jet skis go by further away but not disruptive. Far enough away from Rum Point that you can't hear the people or activities; however sometimes public cars are parked in front of the house on busier days. Saw a few stingrays swim by; no jellyfish but some sea urchins and random fish. A few cats visit the yard but don't get very close to humans. House is fully stocked w/a charcoal grill, plates, utensils, blender, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, kitchen appliances. 4 bicycles (for adults). Beach towels, towels/linens. Very clean home and nicely updated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • Great House, Great Location

"We loved Thatch Hill. The location met all of our requirements – privacy, quiet and convenience. The house is a standalone house with a swimming pool, right on the ocean with a small sandy beach and walk in access to good snorkeling. It's a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage with porches all around the house. The front and side porch is open (sunset views through the trees) and the large screened in porch in the back (dining for 6, lounge chairs for 2) faces the pool and beach. The pool deck had lounge chairs for 4 and the beach had 2 or 3 lounge chairs. There are several good restaurants nearby. Rum Point, with its 2 restaurants is within walking distance (less than a mile), Kaibo, with its 2 restaurants is a long walk or 5 minute drive away and several other good places to eat are within a 20 to 30 minute drive. We were two adult couples for the first week and then just DH and me for the second. The bedrooms, each with a full bath, were separated by the large kitchen/dining/living room. There was privacy; however, the doors were louvered (great for airflow) so some sound from the shared space carried into the bedrooms. Those of us who slept in could hear breakfast being prepared but since most of the time everyone was out on the screened in porch this was not a problem. In addition to a sliding door to the porch from the living room each bedroom also had a porch door. The house was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals and we had breakfast at the house everyday and at most one other meal out each day. We are seriously considering renting it again next year even though we have a "rule" against repeats."

  • Great home for families with kids

"We loved Tarasand. This is a great property for folks with kids. It is right on the beach and the floor to ceiling windows make it easy to watch them as they play. The water is warm and calm. There are good number of activities but Caman Kai is not too busy and has a nice, relaxed community feel. The restaurants are convenient and good. We highly recommend it."
