"Our vacation was a delight. The property was well maintained and, as advertised, well stocked. We used the bicycles, kayaks and snorkeling equipment. There are also two paddleboards, but we were unable to find the paddle. The kitchen also was well provisioned, and we were able to prepare a couple of meals a day without missing any of the kitchen amenities of home. We had a slight misunderstanding with the management company on our arrival time, but the owner stopped by to apologize and presented us with a chilled bottle of wine. Very considerate. This was our first stay at Rum Point and we were not disappointed. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing break and Rum Point fit the bill. Every morning we kayaked about 45 minutes to Kai Kaibo for espresso and pastries and then paddled back. We were blessed with good weather and nice sunsets. We would recommend the property without reservation and hope to return in the future."

  • No Complaints!

"Five stars for: beautiful beach and ocean views from all rooms, quiet location with easy walking access to Rum Point and Kaibo, excellent snorkeling right off the beach, kayak included, well equipped kitchen, king sized bed in master, sufficient wifi for adult family of 4, barbecue grill, friendly and helpful staff from booking to on island, our children (21 and 18) were never bored and we would return again. The furniture is showing some wear and the bathrooms could be upgraded, but we were outside all day every day so it didn\'t matter to us at all. No pool, but again, no problem because we were in the ocean all day. Stingray city tours close at rum point and kaibo, several restaurants within 10-20 min drive."

  • Beyond Expectations!

"Paradise, luxury, peaceful and gorgeous views are just a few of the adjectives to describe Kai Vista! The villa has absolutely everything you could want or need in a vacation home! I have to say that the beds are very comfy and sheets and bedding are luxurious! The home has all the electronics you need and more! We were concerned about the availability of watching the Patriots game but NO worries!!! Not only did we get to watch it but it was on one of the three large screen TV's that was in the house! The kitchen is equipped with any and all appliances that you need. There are multiple dining areas, 3 of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom, with the 4th being right outside the bedroom. The infinity pool and hot tub were a must have and they did not disappoint. Going from snorkeling in front of the house to the pool and the hot tub was absolutely enjoyable and relaxing! The location is great! Rum Point has 2 restaurants and Red Sail sports on the premises to offer you catamaran sails to Stingray city and snorkeling and much more! Starfish beach is a 5 minute ride from the villa. Kaibo restaurant is open for lunch and Kaibo Upstairs is a 5 star restaurant that you should definitely try!! If you like Rum, they have some very exotic types to try! Also try Tukka, about a 15 minute ride to the East End. We ate on the beach and the food is excellent! If you ever have trouble (which we didn't) the management company is on call and readily available. Make sure to read the lists and advice they have on their app! It is great advice!! We plan on renting for 2 weeks next year!"

  • Wonderful Location! Very Private, lots of little fish along the rocks at the shore.

"We loved the fact that you are on a wonderful soft sand beach the moment you step foot outside. Comfortable home, comfortable beds. We had no issues with the house, and found the manager very friendly and welcoming. Called once to inquire about renting kayaks, quick response. I would be willing to pay a bit more a night if they ever included kayaks as rental is fairly expensive. However, being right at the entrance of the bioluminescence bay, you have the best of both worlds at your back door. The waters are calm, very inviting. We did discover that swimming through shallow grassy areas may not be the best idea...."sea lice." Microscopic ? jelly fish. Most of us were stung a little, but it was very minor and went away within the day. In the future, easy to avoid. (I just got caught up seeing the fish.) My husband had the time of his life enjoying the sunset, a drink, his music (we bright an iPone speaker) and grilling (they have a small charcoal grill.) We cooked our on meals and the kitchen had all our basic needs. You may want to bring baggies for food storage. (Not many plastic containers.) For first time guests, I advise renting a car large enough for your luggage and groceries. Once you land, get your groceries first, in town. (The drive is about 40-50 minutes from the airport. This will save you time. If you plan to grill, be sure to buy charcoal and lighter fluid. There are nice places to eat close, but it's not cheap. Cooking saves money. It's a great family vacation. We will definitely be back! One more thought, keep in mind that the grocery stores are closed on Sundays."
