  • Very Peaceful Piece of Paradise

"We just returned from a week at this wonderful property. It was very clean and extremely well stocked. The staff on site was quite helpful. If you want peace and quiet this is a good place for you. The snorkeling in front is just like depicted in the pictures. It is next to Rum Point where there is a bar, restaurant and water sport rentals. If you want to be where all of the action and tourist attractions are this location will require a drive across the island a minimum or 45 minutes. There are several restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Don't miss the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Gardens. We loved our week here and hope to return again some day."

  • ROOMS WITH A VIEW AND LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

"Where do I begin! We stayed for 9 nights at The Retreat at Rum Point Unit #23! Thank you, Katrina and Matt for putting together a wonderful and accurate website for your condo. It was absolutely everything that it showed. The beds were very comfortable which doesn't always happen! The kitchen was organized and well put together. Our place was clean inside and out. Fresh water was already poured in the basin out in front of the lanai door to dip our feet in from our first run out to the beach. The beach is right there. The grounds are immaculate. We could tell whoever oversees the property loves the land as it is cared for with much love and attention. If anyone is worried about less of a view because of it being a ground floor...No worries! You still have a view. TV's are in all the rooms. I would add that to your website as it is a plus. Personally, I could care less about television while there, but kids enjoy it falling asleep at night. This was our first time to Grand Cayman. We came with our 13 year old son and my husband's mom. They bunked together in the guest room, but pushed the twins together for a king size bed. We loved the dock at night watching the fish in the clear water with flashlights and the lights already posted. We enjoyed staying on the quiet side of Cayman. Prices are lower eating out, because they must depend on the business for that side of the island rather than all the cruise ships coming in. The blow holes were spectacular and fun providing the opportunity to see a lot of wild life washed ashore in the tide. Kayaking at night over to the bioluminescent bay was awesome! One must rent a car when staying on that side if you want to go anywhere. Driving on the wrong side of the road is fun and an adventure. It's a blast driving and rather than missing potholes, you're missing iguanas, land crabs, roosters, and hens. Hilarious! The People of Cayman... FRIENDLY!!! Even when they are not trying for your business. Sea Trek was worth it and swimming with Lucy, The Dolphin in Dolphin Cove was unforgettable. Snorkeling in your front yard at The Retreat made us feel like we were in an aquarium every day. Just amazing! Katrina was so KIND to work with!!! She was patient in answering our questions! God willing, we will be back to Cayman and hopefully only staying at their Retreat, Unit #23. Now that I've written a great review....I hope it will be available next year! Ask questions if needed! TYVM, The Ciccos' :)"

  • Just what we needed!

"We stayed at Three Little Birds and it was perfect for us. Away from the crowds, a little piece of heaven, with privacy and amazing marine life twenty feet away! This was our honeymoon and we just loved how peaceful this area was. It is a beach house in the corner of the complex composed by other beach houses. Three Little Birds has an empty lot on one side, so total privacy! Not sure if they will build something soon there, but I am sure someone will. Such a gorgeous area! We had a car and moved around as we pleased. Kaibo restaurant is a five minute walk and has great beach atmosphere without being bombarded by tourists. We stayed during July, a low season, so that was our experience during this time. Star Fish point is a 10 minute walk and it is a pristine and incredible white sand beach corner! The water is amazingly clear, with sandy bottom where you can sea the starfish AND stingrays all together! It is a great place for snorkling. We used the beach house kayak and that was super fun. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon an amazing experience!!! Ingrid"

  • Rum Point Retreat

"Our family of four from Boston ( two adults & two teens) arrived at the condo for some relaxation after spending a fun but hectic week on seven mile beach. The condo was perfect, lots of space and well equipped. The view of the beach from the screened in porch was lovely. It was great being right next door to the public Rum Point beach with snack bar, restaurant, shop, and watersports, but still having our own private, quiet beach to ourselves. It was like being in a resort but with our own space, and much better value. To be so close to the beach, with so many amenities, and still feel secluded is very rare. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach (saw Sting Rays, Lion fish, Barracuda, Cuttlefish and many more) trip to Sting Ray City with Red Sail Sports (go late in the day when no cruise ships are in), sunset at Starfish Point, and the nearby caves tour (fantastic stalactites and stalagmites). Eating out options are fairly limited if you don't want to drive so stock up on groceries before coming. There is a small supermarket about 10 minutes away for basics). This is the perfect location to rest and unwind after spending time on the other side of the island. Thanks for a great stay."
