  • Perfect!

"We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks! It was far and away soooooo much better than the pictures even show. Such a quiet and relaxing area! Many days we were the only ones on the beach! In the two weeks we were here, we really only went to the crazy "seven mile beach" area twice....and that was enough! You can't beat the peacefulness at Kaibo! The condo itself was SPOTLESS! It had everything one would need in the kitchen. The master bath had a great walkin closet to put our suitcases, etc in so they were out of the way. It really had a home feel to it. Actually, I WISH it was my home. This was our first time staying at a vrbo property and I heartily recommend it. It is so much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. Our daughter and her girlfriend met us for our second week and we all had room to stretch out!"

  • Kai Kotch Stay: April 2-9, 2016

"Our vacation was a delight. The property was well maintained and, as advertised, well stocked. We used the bicycles, kayaks and snorkeling equipment. There are also two paddleboards, but we were unable to find the paddle. The kitchen also was well provisioned, and we were able to prepare a couple of meals a day without missing any of the kitchen amenities of home. We had a slight misunderstanding with the management company on our arrival time, but the owner stopped by to apologize and presented us with a chilled bottle of wine. Very considerate. This was our first stay at Rum Point and we were not disappointed. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing break and Rum Point fit the bill. Every morning we kayaked about 45 minutes to Kai Kaibo for espresso and pastries and then paddled back. We were blessed with good weather and nice sunsets. We would recommend the property without reservation and hope to return in the future."

  • Absolute Perfection!

"This home is amazing! As soon as I rounded the corner of the property and saw what was going to be my view for the next week, my face broke into a smile that wouldn’t quit until our plane departed. This was my fourth trip to Grand Cayman and by far my favorite. A lot of properties “oversell” themselves, this property undersells. If you are considering this property, contact MeLinda and just make the reservation, you won’t be disappointed. This property is located with 5 other stand alone buildings. There is space between them, so you don’t hear the neighbors on the other side of a wall. It is a two story building with the master upstairs, balcony and the most glorious ocean views. The house contains all the necessary items to make it feel just like home. Linens, floaties, ice chests, spices, and lots of kitchen items. It truly feels like a home, not just a rental property. The location, for us, was perfect. Away from the hustle, but close to Rum Point and several other restaurants. We stayed an entire week and only had to share the beach twice with a neighbor. 90% of the time we had the beach to ourselves. We spent a whole day just snorkeling and playing on the two man kayak. I also found a nice collection of sea glass. I truly recommend the colorful Captain Herman's fish shack on the East End. Best fried grouper I've ever eaten. My first day back I rebooked same week next year. I’m counting down the days!"

  • Rum Point Retreat

"Our family of four from Boston ( two adults & two teens) arrived at the condo for some relaxation after spending a fun but hectic week on seven mile beach. The condo was perfect, lots of space and well equipped. The view of the beach from the screened in porch was lovely. It was great being right next door to the public Rum Point beach with snack bar, restaurant, shop, and watersports, but still having our own private, quiet beach to ourselves. It was like being in a resort but with our own space, and much better value. To be so close to the beach, with so many amenities, and still feel secluded is very rare. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach (saw Sting Rays, Lion fish, Barracuda, Cuttlefish and many more) trip to Sting Ray City with Red Sail Sports (go late in the day when no cruise ships are in), sunset at Starfish Point, and the nearby caves tour (fantastic stalactites and stalagmites). Eating out options are fairly limited if you don't want to drive so stock up on groceries before coming. There is a small supermarket about 10 minutes away for basics). This is the perfect location to rest and unwind after spending time on the other side of the island. Thanks for a great stay."
