  • Wonderful Condo

"We just returned from a week at Claudia's condo, this place is absolutely wonderful. The condo was perfectly clean and ready for us upon our arrival and this location can't be beat. Truly just steps away from both the pool and the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The unit is stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, beach towels, kitchen supplies, as well as beach toys and some games in case of rain! If you are traveling here during their winter, do not be discouraged if you find there is seaweed washed onto the beach, they do a fantastic job of cleaning this away so everyone can relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Take advantage of the grills on site, we met some amazing people while grilling some dinners! Claudia is absolutely amazing, she is easy to work with and responds quickly to emails. She left some special information for us at the condo and even met with us while we were there. I can't stress enough how truly great she is. I would recommend staying here to anyone, we will definitely be back here, unless we purchase our own place on the island!"

  • Great location along 7 mile beach

"We are very familiar with the Plantation Village Resort (PV) and Grand Cayman. This unit is furnished with a comfortable king sized bed in the master bedroom and a nice dining area table and chairs. We did not use the guest room twin beds. The large flat screen TV worked well with lots of channels. This is an end unit which provides an extra set of windows which were equipped with venetian blinds which allows great daylight. No noise from unit above (concrete construction materials), but sometimes smoke can be annoying from other screened in porches, despite rules against smoking. There are two (pullout couch - I think) loveseats which are not that comfortable, but are clean and new. The kitchen is minimally furnished, but adequate. Dishwasher is very noisy, but works well. It would have been nice to have a cutting board and a few other items. Grand Cayman boasts the lowest crime rate in the Caribbean and PV provides a 24 hour roving security guard, but the laptop sized safe provides additional peace of mind for electronics, passports, cash, jewelry, etc. Despite the fresh coat of paint, the unit is showing its age. They were all built around 30 years ago and rebuilt back to the same floor plans after Hurricane Ivan in 2004. e.g. Bathtubs instead of walk-in showers. There are 3 giant wonderful 9-burner Weber gas grills on the property to sear your fresh tuna from the local fishermen in Georgetown. Seven-mile beach, two very clean pools, large outdoor sinks to rinse dive gear, and outdoor showers make this a great place to stay. We always rent a car to find our favorite snorkeling spots, but many people who stay here do not. There is mini-bus and taxi service along the busy and noisy West Bay Road in front of PV. We enjoy walks and snorkeling along Seven-Mile beach anytime of day. Cocktails and H'orderves at sunset at the seawall or on the beach are a wonderful tradition."

  • Beautiful condo right on the beach

"This condo was just remodeled, so everything was new and clean! We loved it and really appreciated the extra touches, like the cooler we could take out on the beach and the handy clothes rack out on the screened in patio where we could hang our suits and towels to dry. Even the towels and beach towels were new! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. We didn't use it, but there was also a brand new grill on the porch. And the location was perfect--just a few steps from the beach. This resort is friendly and in a great location. There's a great yoga studio, Bliss, just a couple blocks away. We loved walking over to the Royal Palm for a snack or lunch, and could also snorkel right off the beach! We will definitely be back!"

  • Top 5 Again

"See my remarks on unit 614 as we rented that as well. 634 is on the third, (top), floor of Regal Beach. Huge porch where the 9 of us spent every night after dinner enjoying the sound of the surf and Venus burning brightly in the sky. If you are the one paying for this, it is really worth it. I can't imagine a better condo situation."
