"OMG! First time in Grand Cayman. This was such a beautiful island and the condo at Sunset Cove was THE highlight. So centrally located and close to the action. What more could you ask for - the whole house was immaculate with a fully equipped big kitchen, dining and lounging space - many USA programs were on TV including the 2016 presidential election! The condo is first floor, perfect for a family, with pool, spa, wading pool, waterfall just out the back slider and patio. Lighted palm trees at night make a very tropical setting. For two couples, the beds and baths are separated and very private. With the ocean just beyond the pool, bring a cocktail, cheese & crackers, set on a lounge chair, scrunch your toes into the beach sand and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets each night. There is a private lagoon to swim and a marked reef is just beyond for snorkeling in crystal waters. Many restaurants are within walking distance and the airport and city of Georgetown is very close for shopping and sightseeing. There is NO crime on Grand Cayman and the people are friendly and welcoming. A week was almost not enough time, leaving more to explore for next time. Don't miss Stingray City, snorkeling at the Cayman Turtle Farm, stop in to watch or swim with the dolphins, rent a car and go east and north to the part of the island that is less developed. Visit Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Garden, Starfish Point, Kaibo Beach Bar, Rum Point and the blow holes. Bring home a (USA - up to 3) beautiful conch shell for $5 Cayman/ $8 US at a local road stand. Don't forget to drive on the left side. This is Paradise. We will certainly be back to rent from Pat and Mike who take great pride in their home here and make it so easy to transact a stay. Thank You so much! We had a blast!"

  • Everything you need

"We stayed in this condo for our first ever trip to Grand Cayman. The unit is small but is perfect for 2 people. It is close to multiple restaurants and shopping options and is across the street from Diver's Supply, where we rented snorkel equipment. The beach is so beautiful. It has very few rocks, unlike several properties just to the south which are fairly rocky. The beach and water were more wonderful than expected. Just awesome. This condo development is quiet and very well kept. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well maintained. The pool was as well, with warm, clear water. The management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly during checkin, when we had questions, and when we would see them around the complex. Overall we had an awesome time and will definitely go back, and likely stay at this condo development. One note though - be sure to take your own supplies as the owner doesn't provide much (one roll of toilet paper only)."

  • Perfect Paradise for our Romantic Getaway

"We chose Grand Cayman as our destination to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and renew our vows. Doug was easy to work with in making the arrangements. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Jennifer who was eager to give us lots of helpful information to make our use of the property and stay on the island most enjoyable. Everything was just as represented when we booked. The condo was very clean and perfectly positioned for easy access to the Grape Tree private beach and property pool. Being only yards away from snorkeling and with the beautiful sunrises and romantic sunsets complemented by soothing waves we absolutely loved this little cottage on the doorstep of paradise. We moved our vow ceremony to the Grape Tree Beach as we realized it was perfect for us. Enjoyed the natural life of the property with its iguanas, crabs and several bird species. There are two easily accessible grocery stores to choose from. Kirk's Market is within walking distance. Foster's is minutes away by Public Bus but has more selection and better economic value. Of the several restaurants nearby we really enjoyed The Wharf for fine dining and Coconut Joe's for casual dining. Though there was some nightlife I wouldn't expect a strong party scene if this is what you are looking for. Parasailing, jet ski riding, scuba diving and lounging on the beach are all readily available along Seven Mile Beach. We found very good shopping in George Town. Often we chose to walk with backpacks so that we could soak in the island and interact with the locals. We found the people be very friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend staying at Doug's place. In fact, we can't wait to plan our next visit."

  • Doesn't get any better than this.

"We were fortunate enough to stay in Unit 17 at the Beachcomber this past February and couldn't have been happier. The elevator to the unit drops you directly in front of the condo. The condo is stunning inside, but especially out! This unit has the best views in the complex and one of the largest decks replete with comfortable outdoor furniture to sit in and enjoy your coffee in the mornings and your evening drinks watching the most unbelievable sunsets. Some of the best snorkeling is right out in front of the condo, we saw every kind of fish you can imagine, including turtles and a resident barracuda. Supermarket and liquor store are directly across the street and there are many restaurants within walking distance if you decide not to use the well outfitted kitchen and outdoor barbecue. Communications with the owners was excellent and they have free phone service to the USA and many other extras you won't find elsewhere. If you are staying on Seven Mile Beach the Beachcomber's Unit 17 is where you want to be."
