"We just got back from our trip to Grand Cayman. It is our 3rd trip in the last 5 years and our first stay at Discovery Point Club. We really liked everything about it. The layout and the patio/view was just awesome. We are avid snorkelers and the location worked really nice for us since you can see good habit right outside your own door on 7 Mile Beach without needing to jump on a boat. Grand Cayman is really such a nice and easy place for kids to get use to snorkeling from shore. The Discovery Point Club is on the northerly end of 7 Mile Beach so it is a little quieter and provides the perfect separation from the busyness that comes with the larger hotels and the cruise ship drop-off locations. We have used VRBO for the last 10+ years and I have to say this is by the far the easiest/most helpful owner I have ever worked with. You can truly tell they want you to have a great time and are extremely helpful and responsive with any questions you might have. We will for sure be back."

  • Best beach vacation so far!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. The beach access was wonderful and we also had just enough of a beach view from our balcony. Needless to say, we spent most of our time on the beach itself swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and napping. The condo was adequately stocked for our needs and the grocery store was just a couple block walk from the condo. There were several restaurants in walking distance that we enjoyed. We were able to easily use the public bus system to get to sightseeing tours. Taxi's can also be reserved but is more expensive. Condo management/staff were friendly and helpful. The condo was cleaned daily and we always had a new set of beach towels available when needed. The condo had a safe which was great for our personal items while out of the condo. Owner, Julie, was always prompt in responding to any email questions we had prior to arriving in Grand Cayman. We would definitely recommend this property and this location on Seven Mile Beach. Hope to return soon!"

  • Rental 788986 White Sands - great stay, beautiful location

"We stayed at the White Sands condo rental 788986 in Grand Cayman early October 2016. First off, we rented this unit through Cayman Villas and I can't say enough about the ease of renting the unit, and how well things are organized for your stay. They email you a link to a mobile app, or you can view it as a website, but it is all the information about your particular condo. That was nice, as well as picking the unit keys at the Avis car rental location. Very easy and quick. Great service!! About the condo - it was beautiful, well furnished, a fully stocked (appliance and utensil wise) kitchen,...nice flat screen TV's and internet service. So everything you need for your stay is there for you. We didn't need anything beyond what was supplied. Maid service as well. We shopped for groceries that we ate at breakfast and some lunches, dinners we went out. We like to eat breakfast and lunches in, giving us more time to enjoy the fantastic beach front location and clear, warm Caribbean ocean. We like to snorkel..and Grand Cayman is great for snorkeling, especially right from the beach. No need to take a tour boat, unless you want to do something special like going to swim with the stingrays. If you decide to go to White Sands and want to do some snorkeling...walk down the beach towards Georgetown and just past another Cayman Villas property, the Coral House. Put your gear on here or just a bit further down and swim out a 25 to 50 yards and head towards Tiki Beach Restaurant. We snorkeled this reef area about a half dozen times because we saw so much. In addition to the normal reef fish, we saw a lemon or spotted stingray, a lobster, filefish, cuttle fish, squid, trunk fish, a great school of Blue Tang - probably 50 in the school, a spotted eel, and we were lucky enough to even see an octopus. It's a nice leisurely snorkel here, with the waters normally very calm. There isn't much live coral here...but there are some huge brain coral formations, including one that's about 3 feet in diameter. White Sands #4 was an excellent choice for us - the unit was great, ocean front view, chaise lounges, beautiful sunsets. This property has undeveloped land on both sides...and we loved that also as we had daily morning visits from a couple of roosters and hens and 4 chicks. My wife fed them rice and such every day. There are also some beautiful iguanas and lizards that traverse the property daily. We can't recommend this property and Cayman Villas enough."

"This is our third trip to Cayman Reef Resort and our stay was just as good as the first. The condo and amenities are just what you see the pictures. Everything is clean and up-to-date. The proximity to the beach is perfect - a very short walk to an incredible beach. Marc, the owner of the condo, is very easy to work with as well as to get in touch with."
