  • one of the very best vacations we've ever had!

"Our family of 5 (two adults and 3 very finicky teenagers!) stayed a week at Coconut Bay Condos. We were in Unit 101. The place was simply beautiful! Duncan, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with. The condo was perfect and exceeded our expectations! Great working kitchen where we cooked and ate each day before heading out for our daily activities, great dining room for a leisurely game of cards to wind down the day, and full living room with satellite TV for late nights. The bedrooms were perfectly appointed and the washer/dryer on the second floor was a definite plus! The third floor master bedroom was HUGE! We are now spoiled and will never stay in a hotel again. The location of the condo is perfect for those who want to snorkel/dive, with the reef right in your backyard. There is a small "beach" to just relax and get some sun. The two pools on property were clean and great way to end the day after returning home. Located down the block from the Turtle Farm, Dolphin Cove Swim and about a mile walk to Hell, where my kids sent novelty postcards to all their friends back in the States. There's a great outdoor restaurant next door called Makabuka, where we enjoyed a drink and some fresh conch every evening. There is also a fancier restaurant in front of Makabuka called the Cracked Conch, which is more formal. (I think they are the same owners). Great way to end the day. There is a Dive company in the complex, and they will arrange a private boat for snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc. Shaggy and Dominic were simply the best! Dominic took us to his "private" snorkeling spot near Rum Point and it was truly amazing. You can catch a public bus right in front of the condo complex and for a few extra $$, the driver will take you door to door. It is a safe and affordable way to get around the island, but be prepared as there's really no set bus schedule and they are sporadic. However, the bus drivers could not be more pleasant or welcoming. The complex is about a 10 minute ride to Seven Mile Beach and a 5 minute ride to Fosters, a huge supermarket. Simply put, this was quite possibly our best family vacation ever, and we have traveled quite extensively. I don't know what could have made it better and I want to thank Duncan, Shaggy and Dominic for their help in making this vacation so awesome!!!!"

  • Wonderful family holiday vacation

"We stayed at Turtle Fish Haven (ground floor): 2 parents and two 20ish kids. The unit is quite spacious, well cared for and very well equipped for cooking and lounging. Beds were comfortable, and it was a huge plus to have a washer/dryer so that we could pack very light. The unit is very convenient to a beautiful beach with a private, uncrowded lounging area and snorkeling in calm waters at a little distance from the shore. All of this would make the unit an excellent choice, but the recommendations of the owners and previous guests made this absolutely priceless. Their guidance helped us focus on the myriad choices for activities, shopping, and dining, as we had no previous experience with Grand Cayman. Based on our experience, definitely contact Captain Clinton (captainclinton@candw.ky) for a trip to Stingray City and nearby snorkeling--truly unforgettable. The bioluminescence kayak tour was enjoyable, and the bus trip allowed us to see a different part of the island (www.caymankayaks.com). As an aside, the fitness enthusiasts in the group were very happy with the nearby gym, Life Extension (infolifeext@gmail.com). We are planning to return for vacations in the future, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else."

  • Wanted to stay..............forever!

"My husband and I just returned from a six night stay at this lovely condo in Bonnie's Arch. Mike and Donna are a pleasure to work with in booking your trip and giving you all the info you need to have a wonderful stay in the Islands. This is our third trip to Grand Cayman but our second trip where we stayed in this condo in Bonnies Arch. When we go back next year we plan to stay here again as it is just lovely. Very well furnished and outfitted with everything you can think of. It is so well decorated and well stocked with all things that you will need. The pool is literally right out of the sliding glass door and because this unit is on the first floor, the pool is easily accessed. The location of the condo is perfect as it is not in the hectic hub area of Seven Mile Beach, - which is great, because it is so quiet and peaceful here. Perfect for relaxing, decompressing, and just chilling out. Then when you want to be in the thick of it all, just jump in your rented car and drive a couple of miles and you are there. Renting a car is a must really as you can get around so easily. But if you do not rent a car, I would suggest taking the Public Bus vans rather than a taxi as it is much more cost effective. A perfect spot on a perfect island making for a perfect vacation!"

  • We loved it!

"The location of the condo is perfect. Tucked between the Ritz and the Westin. A friendly security guard is on the beach so that you can feel comfortable leaving items on your beach chairs (although, we always felt safe leaving our items on the beach at other areas). Snorkeling was amazing, with different life seen daily. The unit had every comfort you would ever need with convenient Bose sound systems. The view from the patio was perfect. The covered patio (not all have a covered patio) allowed us to sit outside in shade or protected from the passing showers. I would definitely stay in this unit again. The owners are great at replying to any questions. Also, everything is walking distance away and the buses that consistently go up and down the main road will pick you up anywhere, they honk, you wave, they pull over. Only $2.50 US dollars to go as far up or down the 7 mile stretch as you like. The grocery store is a short walk and you can bring grocery carts back to the condo complex, and they are picked up for you. Tons of great restaurants everywhere. Taxi ride from the airport is $23, so no need for a car unless you want to travel to the other side of the island....which we will do on our next visit."
