  • Excellent Condo in a Great Location

"Villas Pappagallo is located in a secluded section of the West Bay area, next to Barker National Park. It is an extremely tranquil location for those wishing to "get away from it all". Georgetown is about a 15-20 minute drive and Seven Mile beach is 10 minutes away. There is a supermarket 5-10 minutes away and a very nice restaurant (also named Pappagallo) a short walk away. The complex has a salt water pool and a nice beach with a pier. The underwater shore is a bit rough so it is not suitable for young children or older people but you can enter the water from the pier for some nice snorkeling or swimming. There is a coral reef within a reasonable distance for competent swimmers. We had our morning coffee and evening cocktails every day on the well maintained beach. This condo was very well equipped and tastefully decorated/furnished. We have rented houses, condos, cottages, etc. in a lot of places and usually there is some inconvenience that you have to work around--not so here. You have everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The residents and guests tend to be sedate but cordial. If you are looking for a place where you can close the bar and stagger up to your room, this is not it. If you like to sit by the pool or ocean, enjoy a nice view in a serene location and meet nice people, this is the place. The owner is responsive to your questions and seems quite reasonable and pleasant to talk to. He supplies a written guide to the property which covers the key issues such as passwords, phone, etc. Another small but convenient touch is that the condo has a keypad lock so people can come and go independently without having to worry about coordinating keys. As with the other two bedroom condos at this complex, the rooms--especially the bedrooms and bathrooms--are good sized so you don't feel crowded. We had balconies off the living room and master bedroom facing the ocean and secondary balconies with lesser views."

  • November 2016 Stay

"We were looking for an amazing home off the beaten path and found it with In Harmony. Great outdoor living area and everything you need to be away from home. Traveled with 4 kids and 2 adults and the house was perfect size. We spent most of the time at the house although did some exploring around the island to see the sights. Ann, concierge, and Kayann, house manager, were very helpful with everything we needed in advance of our arrival and while on-site."

  • Great property with a beautiful view

"We had 2 couples in our group staying for 8 days. The house was better than we expected. We had plenty of room, the furniture was comfortable, the temperature inside the house was cool, everything was in perfect working order and we had everything we needed in the house. It was also clean and there were no bugs. The view was amazing and the water lights up at night if you get in it and splash around as the house is right on the bio bay but beware of the sea lice (tiny jellyfish). They seemed to be mainly around the dock. We had Rosie come and cook for us at the house which was delicious (there is a magnet on the fridge with her number). The kitchen knives could have been sharper but we only used them on occasion. We enjoyed going to Rum Point, and to Kaibo. Both restaurants are great. They auto-grat everywhere so be aware. We also went over to Tukka's on the East side which was a great restaurant and there seemed to be more breeze on that side. We did the sting ray city tour from Rum Point, Starfish Point which is right down the road and the Crystal Caves but make sure you wear bug spray and take some water. It was very hot and humid in the caves."
