  • Beautiful Spot with Gorgeous Views!

"My husband and I stayed at Paradise Pointe for four nights while visiting our son who now lives and works there and found the location to be wonderful. Fantastic oceanfront views and it was only a six minute drive into the heart of all of the action on Seven Mile Beach (where our son lives). We were able to go snorkeling right off of the property and there are some fantastic restaurants and a dive center located within a mile or two of Paradise Pointe Apartments. Really fantastic value when you look around at what other places charge. We will definitely be staying here in the future. Katherine & Hal"

  • A True Island Gem

"WOW! There are just no words to describe this place. This home is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The best snorkeling is right outside your back door. Just don't forget your water shoes! The swimming pool is the perfect place to unwind with a daiquiri or a nice glass of wine. There are 3 liquor stores on the island-Miss Mary Lou's, Big Daddy's and Island Man Rum Shop. Pretty sure we hit them all. There are also 3 main grocery stores-Market Place, Kirkconnell's and Billy's. Don't be surprised if you have to stop at all 3 to get everything on your list. But hey, that's the fun part! If you're looking for a good Ribeye to throw on that super cool outdoor grill though, you can pretty much forget it. May want to consider packing a cooler of meat, which can be checked as luggage but must be packed frozen and in its original packaging. On the days you don't feel like cooking there are a few restaurants worth mentioning. Brac Reef Resort is home to The Palm (Friday nights are BBQ night) and The Tipsy Turtle (great bar menu). Eats & Treats (burgers and ice cream) and PoPo Jeb's (pizza) both deliver. Star Island is a great breakfast choice. If you need cash there is one bank on the island. The 24 hour ATM gives you a choice of US$ or CI$. When you're out and about be sure to check out the caves (don't forget your flashlights)! Peter's cave is spectacular and filled with a rich and interesting history. Rebecca's cave was also one of our faves. If you're wanting to feel the sand between your toes, the one and only Public Beach is the perfect spot for that. Tons of hermit crabs there too! The Lighthouse is the gateway to the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Take your camera! Derwin was also amazing. He was very attentive and made himself readily available to answer any questions we had. On our second to last day, we took a boat ride with Derwin to Point of Sand on Little Cayman. We spent the entire day snorkeling, fishing and picnicking. It was hands down our favorite and most memorable part of the trip. Thank you Derwin! Before you leave the island, if it's the last thing you do, take a trip to NIM Things. There you'll be met by Tenson Scott, the owner and maker of the most interesting and unique necklaces. Just give yourself at least an hour as he's quite the story teller! Thank you, Cha-che, for all tips prior to our trip, the use of your car, and the sharing your beautiful home!"

  • Great Choice on 7 Mile Beach

"Our family of 6 spent 17nights at this great condo. We travelled with our 3 kids (20,20 & 16) and our sons girlfriend turned 20 while we were there. The location was perfect - we walked to Georgetown several times. Within walking distance to grocery store although you may want to cab/bus it back with groceries. The condo itself is just as described - very spacious, well equipped, clean, great views. The screened in porch is a blessing in the evenings as there were mosquitos of some sort that seemed to like to bite. Although we never actually saw them, All of us get bit a few times. Just wear long sleeves for an evening walk on the beach. The condo is on the 3rd floor so you have to be ok with the stairs...but the upper floor makes the view that much better. The beach itself is amazing. It was never crowded during our stay. We always had plenty of room to stretch out and were very thankful for that....especially when we looked over at the beach in front of the neighbouring hotel. Great snorkelling right in front of the condo - we saw turtles, barracuda, cuttlefish and many other varieties of fish. The on site bbq's were a nice bonus and we used them several times. Kathy was very helpful whenever we had questions, Henry keeps the grounds immaculate, and Rose checked on us every few days to tidy up and offer beach towels. We were hoping for an "epic" last vacation as a complete family before our boys start to leave home and we were not disappointed. My husband and I would definitely like to return someday!!"

  • Great place to relax!

"This condo was a great place for our family of 4 to spend a much-needed week to chill out. Clean, comfortable and well-appointed with wonderful views of the lovely beach and the aqua waters. Justin, the onsite manager, is friendly and informative and was great to work with, making the reservation and check-in process very easy. We appreciated having access to pantry items--e.g., food wraps, coffee filters, paper towels. Considerations: There is no elevator in the building and no facilities on the beach. There is WiFi but it's slow. The property is on the north end of the island. Beautiful and quiet. The nearest restaurant/bar is is a 10-minute walk. While there is a bus and there are taxis, they didn't seem to be super convenient so we ended up renting a vehicle which is probably a good idea for Grand Cayman in general. We included these considerations to help others plan their vacation. However, we heartily recommend this condo, the Heritage Club and Grand Cayman and would definitely stay here again ourselves."
