"If Grand Cayman is your destination, no need to look further than this great condo. After several vacations on the island, we decided at the last minute to book this corner unit in the Beachcomber. Our first time at the Beachcomber, we'd only spotted it walking past and noticed it did have the nicest pool on this stretch of 7-Mile Beach. This corner unit is exactly as described and the pictures of the condo are spot on. Honestly with all units in the Beachcomber having a balcony I didn't think the special extended patio would be such a big deal, but I have to say I had a change of heart after experiencing it! The balcony was magnificent and we enjoyed morning coffee and especially evening sunsets and cocktails there with plenty of room for the whole family. Mike, the owner, was friendly and very easy to deal with and so was the office staff at the Beachcomber (Amanda was fantastic and check-in was super easy). Everything we needed for our vacation was in the unit; towels, linens, all kitchen items, toiletries, pool and beach floats and even a few snorkel items (though I'd bring my own if you have them). We found some suntan lotions and other sundry items probably left by earlier guests as I left some laundry soap and a few first aid items. The location is great and really no need for a car. There is a Food Pantry across the street, as well as a small strip mall with a liquor store (all closed on Sunday), and there are several restaurants within walking distance including the #1 rated Sunshine Sweets Grill. Cabs can easily be called to travel a bit further for excursions or restaurants. I'll definitely book this unit again, if I can find some open dates. I've used VRBO several times and I have to say this was my most pleasant experience so far! No need to hesitate."

  • Amazing place. Looking forward to coming back again.

"The apartment was just perfect. Steps from the beach where swam every morning and every night. The apartment was clean, cozy, well stocked and had comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. We were close enough to everything we needed. We will definitely be back."

  • Beautiful Spot, Henry is a Great Host and Sasha prepares the best food on the island.

"This location is amazing. Star gazing at night is wonderful. Henry took care of all of our needs. We had Sasha prepare 3 meals for us, first time we had jerk chicken with beans and rice it was very good, the second time she prepared conch fritters and shrimp skewers on the grill and they were truly awesome, the third night she made grouper and lobster tails on the grill....mmmmm scrumptious!!!! These meals were the best meals we had on the island. Thanks to Henry and Sasha for a wonderful time."

  • Great Location and Relaxing

"This was our first trip to the Brac and the house was great. It is located on the south side with an excellent view of the water. It was relaxing lying on the porch in the hammock listening to the waves crashing and feeling the cool ocean breeze. The house itself was open and airy with all the necessities one needed including flashlights for nearby cave exploration. The manager was great in that he helped us with some issues that came up, and the owners were very responsive. The location was very central to everything. Although it isn’t a great beach for going into the water due to the iron shore (don’t forget to bring some good water boots), there are an abundance of places not that far away and the public beach is just a few miles down the road. Walking down on the iron shore by the water’s edge provides an opportunity to see things not normally seen on a sandy beach and if you are a sheller, you will have no issues finding some unique shells. Some advice, when flying into the island from Miami, pack a few things in your carry on that you will need right away. Oftentimes the airlines will have a delay with luggage and you may not get your bags until the next day. Bring lots of sunscreen and bug spray. Both the sun and bugs are abundant and these products are costly to buy on island. Also, buy duty free alcohol in Miami and bring it to the island with you. Alcohol is costly there. With all that said, the island is amazing and the house was a relaxing place to enjoy it with everything you will need to have a great vacation!"
