  • Luxury in Paradise

"We stayed here for 7 nights with our two children age 10 and 9. This was our first time visiting the Grand Cayman and we absolutely loved the condo, the location and the island. We felt so welcome when we arrived late to the Condo with the fresh fruit basket. The kids hit the pool and hot tub immediately before unwinding and then we woke up and saw paradise. The ocean was steps off our balcony - we would sit and listen to the waves every night. The Conceige, daily cleaning service , wifi and free local calls made it feel like home. The gardener's came by with fresh coconuts one day while sitting on the beach - and opened them to drink the coconut water - very refreshing. The grocery store is just a quick minute away - we were able to stock up and we picked up take out Caribeann foods along with Captain Beard's Rum cakes a couple of times - the BBQ chichen is amazing. This part of seven mile beach is quieter and close to fabulous cuisine - we dined at Ristorante Pappagallo, The Cracke Conch, Morgan's,Vivo (these are the one's we would also recommend). The Snorkelling off the beach was truly amazing and we saw a sting ray. We explored the island taking in Rum Point, Starfish Beach and the Iguana Reserve. We saw Iguana's and lizards every day - loved it. We took the Sting Ray Sandbar trip with Captain Marvel. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this little gem of a unit."

  • Absolutely wonderful

"This is our second year to stay at Tamarind Bay properties. The floor plan for each unit is the same. We love the location on Seven Mile Beach as it is close to restaurants, buses, taxis, and into Georgetown. However, the best part is that we do not have hardly any foot traffic in front of us on the beach. It is almost like having your own private beach. Lots of umbrellas and lounge chairs, beautiful fresh water pool and this unit is literally just about 25 yards to the beach! Sand and water is pristine and being in a unit on the bottom floor literally steps from the beach was awesome! Property owners were wonderful to work with and Kathy the Property Manager is extremely kind and helpful. Units are extremely clean, wonderfully furnished condo and kitchen, great wifi connection, washer/dryer, and extremely comfortable beds. Snorkeling in front of property is amazing as well. We loved this property and really have enjoyed both of the units that we rented at Tamarind Bay. We had 6 people and slept comfortably and had a couple join us for a few nights and it was comfortable with 8 as well. This unit has 2 king beds in separate bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has a queen and a set of bunk beds. If you are looking for a lovely vacation, it is hard to beat this one!"

  • Snorkeling paradise

"My family of five stayed in this condo. We loved the views and the ground floor location was so convenient. The beds were comfortable with adequate pillows and blankets. Some wear to the furniture but nothing that would be unusual. Kitchen was well stocked, loved having the washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend this unit! About the area: We felt safe and walked everywhere. Yes there is an unattractive property behind sunset cove but we never felt scared. Yes,use common sense when out. We loved that our unit had a front door combination lock-nice touch,no cards or keys to lose. We used the bus system or walked everywhere-very easy to use. The swim up pool bar is awesome with great food and happy hour drinks. Shout out to Jesse who kept the drinks coming and made for a fun time for my adult kids. The bar closes at 10so no late night partying which is nice. Our absolute favorite thing was the snorkeling cove! We spent most of the time there and found such cool sea life. Visibility was excellent except for our last day. We went to the seven mile beach part to the right and enjoyed that too but we felt our spot was the best. Read the tips and comments in the books in the condo. Very helpful.. Took a waverunner tour to stingray city-awesome experience. Did the bioluminesence kayak tour and loved that too. DNS diving is a short walk behind the property and we highly recommend them as well. Lots of great food- Coconut Joe's, The Warf, The lobster pot Peppers, XQ's and Copperfalls steakhouse. Copperfalls was our favorite and worth the money. All our pricey but we were aware and saved up for it. We ate breakfast and lunch in each day and dinner out each night."

  • my dream beach home

"I could not think of one thing that wasn't available in this beautiful home. I enjoyed waking up to a straight on view of the ocean. The upper deck was another world at night with pitch black skies covered with stars. I arrived on a full moon and left on a hammock moon. Perfect. Location made for easy short trips to each end of the island and a crossover road close by for exploring the bluff ridge and the south side. Great owners with helpful information all through my stay. I am spoiled now!"
