  • A Wonderful Place to Relax and Unwind

"We just returned from an 11-day stay at Rainbow Tree Villa where we had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation. The tone for our stay was set by our exuberant welcome from Aman who drove us to the villa. He was very accommodating in allowing us to stop at a grocery store to pick up some last minute items and at a Jerk Center for lunch. He entertained us on the drive with a variety of music. When we arrived, Miss Laura and Miss Jenny were waiting for us to orient us to the house. They are the two of the nicest, sweetest, and most amiable individuals you will meet. During our week, they prepared wonderful meals that we ate on the verandah with a fantastic view of waves breaking over the coral reef. Miss Laura and Miss Jenny listened to any requests we made with respect to our menus. They cleaned the house regularly so it remained orderly throughout our stay. Our vacation was primarily for rest and relaxation and we spent most of our days floating in the pool and swimming at the beach. Miss Laura and Miss Jenny gave us good advice of where to swim to avoid any undercurrents associated with the waves rolling over the reef. We did, however, take a few excursions to Floyd’s Pelican Bar via an energetic boat ride (driven by Aman and accompanied by his friendly son Shane) and to YS Falls where some of us enjoyed the natural spring pools and the rest participated in more adventurous activities such as climbing the falls and zip lining. At the end of our vacation, we were all teary-eyed in saying good-bye to Miss Jenny and Miss Laura. Peter, the owner, was very responsive to our initial rental inquiry and subsequent questions. We highly recommend Rainbow Tree Villa. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully situated on the sea. Most importantly, it is staffed by a wonderful group of friendly and caring staff. We give this villa our highest recommendation and hope to return next year. We also strongly recommend Club Mobay at Montego Bay Airport. It’s a concierge service to expedite arrival procedures – including a personal escort through immigration and customs. We were very tired after traveling from California and by-passed long lines of passengers in a very warm airport. We then enjoyed a few complimentary rum punches while our escorts let Aman know that we arrived. We have never had an easier and more efficient arrival at a Caribbean airport!"

  • Perfect!

"Chef Neff's suite was perfect for my vacation! Having a kitchen was not only an excellent way to save money, but it made my whole experience that much more relaxed. I didn't have to waste precious time debating where to go for coffee or how to satisfy the urge for a late night snack. The property is beautiful and well-cared for, very peaceful, and so close to the beach that I walked there and back sometimes a couple times a day. It was also the perfect balance between feeling cared and provided for, and given lots of privacy. I will definitely return!"

  • WOW! World class view, home, and people!

"Along with our two daughters we stayed for four nights at La Bagatelle. As everyone has stated, the view is spectacular. More importantly, working with Nancy, Paul, and Valinda made the stay that much more enjoyable. Special recognition to Nancy as we had a couple of challenges, caused by me, which Nancy worked through very professionally. Thank you! We've traveled to the islands in the Caribbean more than 15 times and this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one of our most enjoyable. Need to emphasize the value in this villa as Valinda will shop and prepare (or at least assist in prep) any/all/most meals. She made us a fish creole which was out of site! I think I read where someone said the kitchen was outdated. That's bunk. The kitchen is fine. House is great. Took a day to get used to as our living room is wide open! Couple of highlights: Transportation-Nancy recommends Popo and so do I. My wife wanted to bring him home with us. Great guy, patient(remember, I was with 2 daughters and a wife.....), knowledgable, and knows EVERYONE. We used him once a day which was cheaper than a car rental. Plus the peace of mind not driving on St. L roads and in town. As Nancy states in description the road is rough and narrow. Hence, my reasoning for letting Popo do the driving. Excursions--We walked to the Anse Chastenet beach...it's a solid 15 minutes DOWN ( I timed it) and 20 UP. Go to the beach on "the side" which is Anse Mamin. Quiet and has great restaurant. Highly recommend the Tet Paul trail especially at Sunset. We did Hot Chocolate tour. Hiked the Gros Piton. Don't be fooled, it's 25% hike and 75% climb. Beautiful once your up there though. Did the market on Saturday morning and picked up bananas, plantains, coconut water, and fish. Really fun to be "in town" and experience the people and culture of St. Lucia Overall, we had a great experience with the people and property and would definitely recommend this to others."
