  • Wonderful vacation home in gated community close to beaches & more.

"Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful 10 night stay in this vacation home. Four bedrooms each with it's own bathroom, plus a main floor powder room. Lower level with efficiency apartment. Bedrooms are air conditioned, which was necessary to use only at night. Open windows during the day for breeze to keep house comfortable. Pool is also much appreciated. A number of grocery stores are a short drive away. Close to Tugboat, which is a great snorkel area. We went to 6 beaches along the coast while there. Spent our last full day at Cas Abao beach and loved it! Quiet, nice sand beach with decent snorkeling and snack bar. Pierre answered questions quickly via email before we arrived, and Management Host Franca was helpful during our visit."

  • Fabulous Stay

"Apartment was top of the line in every way. The views of the water were amazing. Furnishings were very modern and beautiful. Plenty of room and good cooking facilities. Our only criticism was the very small swimming pool. And we only had one coffee pod in our kitchen. Coffee was great, but guests should have more than one. Apartment is very close to great breakfast/lunch places, also on the water. Very convenient to town as well. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Wonderful

"Beautiful, well-appointed villa in a great location. The owners Scott and Suzette provided a wealth of information about the area and Curacao in general in the weeks leading up to our stay. Coral Estates has a very nice beach area with good snorkeling, two restaurants (one quite good), pool and a dive shop that you can walk to from Villa Sirena if you don't mind some stairs. It's a short drive from several great beaches (incl. Porto Mari, Cas Abao) and the flamingo sanctuary. We loved watching the sunset as we prepared dinner on the grill. Highly, highly recommended."

  • Wonderful view and location

"1st impression was WOW! The view is overwhelming & the outdoor living space is a wonderful bonus. We spent most of our daylight hours down at Jan Thiel Beach but did enjoy several sunsets right from our balcony. Overall, the area right around our apartment was quiet and peaceful, but towards the end of our stay, a couple large groups moved into neighboring apartments and that's when we discovered just how badly sound echoes throughout that complex. lt didn't ruin the week, but the tranquility was gone. The neighborhood is very clean, quiet and safe. We walked at night several times with no issues. This is a gated community with a security booth at the only entrance. Once the guards know you, they don't require you to show your pass card, but it is nice to know they are so diligent. Walking down to the beach area was easy, though hilly. Snorkeling at the beach was very nice, & the loungers at KoKo's at the far end were the most comfortable. You do have to pay for those loungers but the servers will bring you food & drinks & run a tab for the day. Our only complaints about the apartment are minor but still items that I want to mention: * The coffee maker is a senseo, requiring single serve pods and makes the weakest coffee EVER. Had I known about the coffee situation, I may have brought my own pods, but brought ground beans and had to make due with using filters to make pods, which meant weak coffee. Blech! 2) The apartment was only stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper for the two of us for the week, meaning we had to buy toilet paper. Also no kleenex or paper towels in the apartment. We arrived with full-blown colds and would've killed for kleenex! Had to go buy that & paper towels too. I know these are small items, but every other condo we've EVER rented was stocked with at least 1 roll of paper towels and some spare rolls of toilet paper, & the ability to have it restocked if needed. That was not really an option, because apparently any restocking for trash bags or toilet paper comes out of the deposit...seriously! Small things like that can make or break a decision to return to a place. The ice maker was not working properly, which staff was aware of. We had to chip frost and ice from the front of the ice maker several times to be able to close the freezer completely. Overall, a lovely vacation, we enjoyed our stay."
