  • Fantastic Family Vacation

"Our family of 8 stayed at Charlie's Villa for 5 days and loved every minute of it. Vacation planning was made easy by Charlie who was very responsive and had many good ideas for the holiday, Alexander who arranged for transportation from the airport and Maria from the rental agency, who arranged for a golf cart and groceries prior to our arrival. When we arrived, Isabel the cook had a meal waiting for us on the table and continued to cook us 3 great meals a day during our stay. The Villa was very comfortable and roomy and the family made good use of the pool and hot tub. Overall, our holiday was fantastic and made all the more pleasurable by the work of Charlie and Isabel. If you are planning to visit Casa de Campo, we highly recommend you stay at Golf Villa #119! Thanks so much Charlie, hope to have a chance to visit you again! Jacques and Lisa"

  • A perfect getaway

"I stayed at the condo for a week. The process of getting from the airport, to arranging a rental car, to getting to the condo was quick and painless. I absolutely loved it! The house is right on the beach; you can literally walk to the shore like it was in your own back yard. You can just imagine the gorgeous view from the homefront. Also, I was highly impressed with how well maintained the condo was. Everything was clean, all the walls and furnishings were above expected quality and there was more than enough room inside. I was concerned about litter and evidence of college partiers but the whole place was immaculate inside and out. You don't appreciate AC until you get out into the Dominican, and it's nice that this property has a strong enough AC unit in this very modern condo. Cabarete is a hop and a skip away, and in my opinion it's the most gorgeous part of the Dominican Republic. It was the icing on the cake, considering I could stay in the condo and look out on the beach forever. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who would like an exciting getaway or a relaxing vacation. I couldn't ask for more, and Mercedes has been nothing but helpful with all of my concerns and questions pre-visit. I absolutely had the time of my life - zero complaints except that I eventually had to go back home!!"

  • The most beautiful vacation home that we have ever stayed in.

"I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in DR. The view was stunning. Inside was impeccably designed and extreme clean. Maria was very professional and responsive. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the AC unit in the common/living area did not cool the space well. However, I would definitely return, as I know the owner will rectify this as soon as he is made aware. I really loved this property and will try to book it whenever I stay in the area."

  • PERF family vaycay

"Angela's condo was the perfect location for our family of 5 with 3 young adults. The description and photos are correct. She has lovely taste and provides the amenities you would have at a resort: bathrobes, soaps, pool towels, etc. It is spacious and well appointed allowing the 17 year old to have his own space, for once, while the 20 something girls could juggle working remotely with pool, beach and adventure activities. Ana, the housekeeper, made it all work! It took some organizing with regard to planning and food shopping but allowed us to eat-in for most meals. Admittedly I was a bit hesitant about wiring money off as payment but Angela graciously allowed me to contact 2 former renters and they provided the assurances we needed. The location is remote relative to restaurants and even a coffee shop so you need a car. There is a restaurant on property but we never tried it. The beach has a barrier coral wall so it is not open water for swimming- more like a small pond. You can drive to the adjacent beach to get to the open water. Angela helped us arrange a day excursion to PlayaTao and golf and her on- property assistant set us up with ScapePark for zip lining and a hike and dinner reservations. They were all very accommodating and helpful. It was voted the BEST vaycay and my family preferred it to a resort - they liked the flexibility and freedom. As noted by other reviewers, this is not a 'hip and happening' location. That was appealing to us but might not work for others based on the ages of the children. There were a few other people at the pool but mostly it is quiet. The pool staff was very pleasant. Thanks to Angela and Ana who made this a vaycay to top the charts."
