  • Fabulous Vacation Villa!

"We just got back from a fabulous 6 days in Casa de Campo staying at this exceptional, beautiful villa. We were a group of four couples so it was a perfect fit staying in the lovely four bedrooms on the main floor (we used the bedroom on the lower level for the masseuse from the club to give massages). Keeping the bedrooms cool with ac and the rest of the house open air was perfect even on warm days. The furnishings and decor are perfectly appointed with a local flare with many seating areas to relax and chat. Upon our arrival, the staff welcomed us and made sure we had all that we needed throughout our stay. Victor was excellent as "butler" - from serving meals and drinks to checking on our golf carts and running to the marina to get extra ice. We ate breakfast very day and a few dinners on the outdoor patio which was heaven! The pool and hot tub were perfect, the grounds impeccable and there were even fresh flowers in our rooms. The view of the ocean tops it all off. The location is perfect and not far by golf cart to Altos de Chavon, the Marina or the beach. Isabel, the owner, was great to work with and had quick email responses before, during and after our trip. She advised us on groceries and food to request which was very helpful. The cook does her best when given specific requests for meals. Our last night we had an amazing dinner in the dining room with an entire salted fish, filet, salad and potatoes and flan for dessert that was truly gourmet. Thank you so much Isabel and the wonderful staff for an excellent vacation spot!"

  • Exceeded our Expectations!

"Our Dominican Republic holiday at Casa de Campo and Las Pinas Villa exceeded our expectations! We have traveled the Caribbean and Casa de Campo ranks as tops! We were traveling with 4 adult children and Casa de Campo provided something for everyone and Las Pinas Villa was as close to prefect as could be. The open air living room and dining room were a favorite gathering spot and lovely for family dinners around the big round table. The outdoor patio was an ideal spot to start the day with a cup of Dorkas' Dominican coffee as well as end the day with a cocktail and her amazing guacamole! The lounge chairs around the pool and the hot tub provided many hours relaxation and at the end of a day at the beach or on the golf course it was wonderful to return to the Las Pinas for hot showers and comfy beds. The staff at Las Pinas took incredible care of us -- they were so thoughtful and ready to please -- Dorkas prepared delicious meals, Zulaka did all of our grocery shopping and kept us well stocked with all of favorite food and beverage and Guillamina kept the house spotless. The owners are exceptionally gracious and went above and beyond to make certain that we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Both Casa de Compo and Las Pinas Villa were amazing and really did exceed our expectations. We would love to return again and again!"

  • PERF family vaycay

"Angela's condo was the perfect location for our family of 5 with 3 young adults. The description and photos are correct. She has lovely taste and provides the amenities you would have at a resort: bathrobes, soaps, pool towels, etc. It is spacious and well appointed allowing the 17 year old to have his own space, for once, while the 20 something girls could juggle working remotely with pool, beach and adventure activities. Ana, the housekeeper, made it all work! It took some organizing with regard to planning and food shopping but allowed us to eat-in for most meals. Admittedly I was a bit hesitant about wiring money off as payment but Angela graciously allowed me to contact 2 former renters and they provided the assurances we needed. The location is remote relative to restaurants and even a coffee shop so you need a car. There is a restaurant on property but we never tried it. The beach has a barrier coral wall so it is not open water for swimming- more like a small pond. You can drive to the adjacent beach to get to the open water. Angela helped us arrange a day excursion to PlayaTao and golf and her on- property assistant set us up with ScapePark for zip lining and a hike and dinner reservations. They were all very accommodating and helpful. It was voted the BEST vaycay and my family preferred it to a resort - they liked the flexibility and freedom. As noted by other reviewers, this is not a 'hip and happening' location. That was appealing to us but might not work for others based on the ages of the children. There were a few other people at the pool but mostly it is quiet. The pool staff was very pleasant. Thanks to Angela and Ana who made this a vaycay to top the charts."
