  • Vacation of a Lifetime

"My family of four just returned from what has to be the best vacation we have had. We are timeshare owners and as such have vacationed each year to some very exotic locations with stunning accommodations, however this villa is second to none. Not a single one of the many all-inclusive vacations can compare to what the staff of this villa provide – Tanya is nothing short of a magician when it comes to preparing meals for the guests as well as making sure the villa is absolutely beautiful inside while Narciso does the same to keep the beauty of the grounds and pool equally impressive. Tanya and Narciso are both simply irreplaceable and made sure to make us all feel very special while simultaneously allowing the family the privacy one wouldn’t expect in any resort. Everything about this villa exceeded our expectations. While we have viewed photos of the villa prior to our visit we came to the realization that no photo can possibly do the beauty of this villa justice. Very few places on earth provide both an amazing ocean and mountain view from 3 individual porches/ patios. Nothing short of breathtaking. Gabino was also wonderful and treated us well. He picked us up, took a tour of the villa and left his home number in case of an emergency. Additionally, Gus is an outstanding addition to the package to make sure the guests can do as many activities (or as few) as desired without the pressure the one finds during vacations at most resorts. Prior to our trip I fully expected to be able to provide the owners with recommendations for improvement and there is only one I can provide – don’t change a thing. This is a vacation we will remember fondly the rest of our lives and we will undoubtedly compare this trip to each of our future vacations. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Dominican home with us. Not only would we recommend it, we’ve already given information to friends and family member."

  • Amazing and exactly as desrcibed

"I was one of three ladies who had the good fortune of renting this location for 2 weeks. Everything listed in the description was spot on!! The view was beautiful, the pool quiet and serene, the waterfall in the pool blocking out any noise and leading to a feeling of tranquility. With all the rain we had it was some times difficult to tell if it was the waterfall or another shower but I did enjoy watching the rain as much as watching the ocean. If cleanliness is next to Godliness then I must have been in church. The apartment was very very clean, the stairwells and the grounds also well kept. The day we left the maid removed everything from the cupboards, drawers and fridge to give it all a good cleaning. No detail was to small. The maid/cook was FANTASIC. We enjoyed her famous lasagna, her coconut fish, goat stew (even for breakfast). With her help I was able to pick up more Spanish, more then the 3 previous visits to the D.R. Between the dictionaries and Google translate we found the few words we were struggling with. Thank you for providing a very comprehensive booklet that included everything we needed to know. I can't think of anything that was missing. The extra bonus was having a local cell phone. We may not have used it much but we were able to contact some local friends rather then walking up the hill and knocking at the door. The complex was well guarded and I felt safe at all times. When a friend came to the door he was accompanied by the security staff to ensure he was a welcomed guest. Anyone booking this location should know that the small market 1 block over (Juan's) has better prices for some items then the large Supermarket in town. Some of the items I compared were alcohol, cranberry juice and Pringles. These items were 30 to 50 pesos less at the local market. If you pay in U.S $ he will give you change back in U.S $ and his exchange rate for dollars to pesos are as good if not better than the banks. Go early during the week if you want some fresh buns as rich as croissants. Looking for something different to do.....head over to Ocean World Wed night for an evening of karaoke and you may catch one of the Dominican's best bachata dancers. Buy a bottle and mix, sit down and get to know some new people. Hope to get back. I think I made a friend of the maid. Hope she enjoyed the music I played on my laptop for her to sing and dance to while we were out. Hope she is OK and safe with the flooding."

  • Amazing time at an amzing place!!!

"OMG! That just about sums up our entire experience. The villa itself was older but charming with an amazing pool area. We loved having a golf cart to explore the resort. We loved not having to leave the villa for breakfast. All of the restaurants were great! We especially liked the Tapas Bar and the Crepes at Serenity Beach. The transportation to and from the resort was wonderful as well as the Ocean World tickets. This was the perfect vacation!!!! Roman was great to book through! Very responsive to questions!"
