  • Wonderful Time!

"This is a very easy review to write. Nicole could not have been more pleasant to work with. She was always there throughout the entire process. Everything was very simple, from the payment process all the way to check out. About her Aquamarina unit, very well appointed, clean, lots of space (guessing around 2500 sq ft). Kitchen was modern and had everything you need. We cooked a few times, but mainly ate at the restauants in the complex, which were very nice and a very good value. We had never been to Punta Cana and just loved it. Cap Cana is an amazing, pristine place. To say it's a resort is a bit misleading, mainly under selling the property, it's huge and very spread out over many many acres. Not over run with tons of people, made for a very relaxing vacation for my Wife and two teenagers. Plenty to do for our children. I could go on and on.... All I can say is that there is a reason for all the good reviews for this condo. They are all on point and I completely agree and echo all of them. This vacation well exceeded my expectations, We will be back."

  • Outstanding July week with family, plenty for adults and kids!

"The Podell's were outstanding to work with from start to finish. The concierge picked us up at the airport (three children 12, 11, 7), and we headed to the supermarket. In 30 minutes we had our necessities for the week and were off to the resort. Upon arrival, we were provided a brief 10-15 minute review of the property (bars/pools/cabanas) and walked up to the condo. We were greeted by Selene(maid) and all groceries were unpacked and luggage was in rooms. Great start to the vacation! Visiting in mid/late July, be aware this is NOT their busy season. This laid back season appealed to us. Within this property, near the marina, we had no crowding issues and easy access to the two best restaurants within walking distance for dinner. The beach at the property was white sand and clear water...seaweed was around but not abundant. We used a different beach at Caleton. The condo was incredible with four bedrooms (2 with 2 queens and 2 with Kings). Tons of space and screened porches. We never saw an insect at the condo! Every room was spotless. The TV in the living room could probably stand to be upgraded, but we watched very little TV during our trip. The condo offers 4 1/2 bathrooms and tons of space. My wife and I had plenty of privacy as the kids loved their own half of the condo! Selene showed up daily and washed towels, dishes, bedding, and cleaned. We didn't utilize her for cooking, etc. as our focus was on being at the beach/pool all day. She was fantastic and every towel and beach toy possible was provided. CapCana offers $3 cab service to any place within CapCana! We utilized their membership and the $3/ten minute ride and used the EdenRoc facilities at Caleton Beach every day. This resort is on par with some of the finest resorts we've ever seen. Pristine beach (think Siesta Key and Turks&Caicos clear), free towels, cabanas, etc. Enormous infinity pools at Eden Roc, cabana service for lunch/drinks, and a nice "pricey" restaurant on site. Service was top notch and the Podell's had our name on the list and we were treated as regulars. Summary: Make friends with a cab/mini van driver and call when needed (we used Clemente for every ride) Prepare for pricier meals on property, normal for resorts. Went to village for Italian at Mamma Luisa's, twice (top 5 Italian ever and half price of IL Cappuccino on site) U.S. Currency works fine, just know the conversion. Scape Park, just do ZipLine and head back to beach. -D&A , Ohio"
