  • Great time

"We had a great time, family of 9, the apartment is very confortable, pretty and practical, that is what we need in vacation. First floor, close to the pool, and close to de beach was a blessing, everybody could do what they wanted without going to far. The supermarket delivers almost everthing to the apartment, Reliable transportation a call away, ( Franklin and his team ), maintenece (Salomon), the cooking and cleaning lady ( Nereida ) was so nice to all of us, and the owner of the apartment Monica that make sure that everything was Ok, made this vacation unforgiveble for my family. Sure, I will recomend it !"

  • Very nice place to stay near Cabarete

"We had arranged for pick up at the airport with a 1/2 hour stop at grocery store for $40. Arranged with property management. This was well worth it. Our flight was delayed but our taxi driver was still there patiently waiting for us. His English wasn't the best but we have been to the DR before and are able to communicate small talk. When we got to the property, Management walked us over to our Villa. What a beautiful place! We had everything we NEEDED to enjoy our time (except a BBQ brush but from reading the previous review it seems maybe it was taken out of the villa in error. No big deal...) We had 2 safes we could use, air conditioning, washing machine (which worked great), dishwasher (we did not use we do our own dishes). There was a big binder with all kinds of information on restaurants or tours to do in Cabarete as well as a guest book to sign. Everything worked fine in the villa. Power did go out a few times but only lasted a couple of minutes each time. This villa is on the main floor, the bedroom is near the parking lot and yes you can hear some of the local traffic however this did not bother us at all if air is on you hear nothing. The pool & ocean is a short walking distance which i found very convenient. The property & villa were very well maintained. Actually after walking the beach i really thought the Victoria Condo was one of the best maintained property on the beach. Bright and colorful, nice palm trees etc..It is a very quiet place with few other tourist where you can choose to chat with or you can keep to yourself and not feel obligated to make new friends. The choice is yours. Property managers were on site however never bothered us unless we had questions. We tried to locate Martini's by the beach but the sign was small and we missed it. It is about a 5 minute walk to the right of the beach, if you take the road go left... nice place to enjoy a drink and great food! We did walk to town for groceries at Janet's ( we had brought a small back pack cooler) the walk was about 15 minutes and we enjoyed it. Not much room on sidewalk. We went out in the evening and walked home at dark around 10 pm. We didn't feel that our safety was at risk however there isn't much lighting therefore i suggest you take a taxi to return home. I loved this little villa, great price, nice view and perfect place to relax. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We do plan on returning in few years and looking forward to relax time!"

  • Once in a lifetime vacation

"This place is magical. Literally like having your own private resort. The condo is right on the beach and looks just like the pictures...BEAUTIFUL! Virginia helped me with the booking and she couldn't have been kinder or more thoughtful. Thank you Virginia!! The grounds and pool where also picture perfect. We stayed a week and I maybe saw 4 other people the whole time. So private and relaxing. There are a couple amazing seafood restaurants within walking distance either way on the beach. I am definitely planning on coming back and I hope this condo will be available."

  • Great house in an excellent location

"Spent 9 days at Villa Dawn with our two kids (10 and 6) and their grandmother. The development Bahia de Arena is perfect for those looking to rent a house in Cabarete. Security is great, our kids ran around in the complex visiting their friends who were staying at another house. Walking to the beach takes 3 mins and once you are there a quick 2 min walk to the right gets you to a beach club where you can get chairs/umbrellas food/drink. The beach area is very spacious and not crowded. Also great waves for boogie boarding. Kite lessons available right there as well. Perfect set up. Villa Dawn had one of the largest yards of all the houses and a very nice pool where the kids played and we watched while siting on the patio. If you're looking for calmer waters sosua beach is 15 min drive which we also did a couple of times. Cabarete town is 5 min drive lots of bars restaurants. Overall great vacation and highly recommended!"
