  • Amazing Accommodations!

"I've rented with VRBO many times before and this was possibly the BEST experience ever! Beginning with our first contact by email, Roni was extremely helpful and always willing to answer all of my questions. During our stay, she called to check on us. Within a week of our departure, our deposit had been returned to us and Roni followed up with us to confirm that we received it. (That never happens.) The condo is absolutely stunning! It is roomy, tastefully decorated, and spotless. All four bedrooms are spacious, and both balconies provide a great view of the pool and beach. The property is located in Cap Cana, a gated area that provides everything you could want... beaches, restaurants, shops, and a marina. A cab can take you anywhere in Cap Cana for $3...a great deal. the Cap Cana area of the island is simply beautiful! Since Roni and Josh are members of the Caleton Beach Club (at Eden Roc), we were able to enjoy their private beach...it's gorgeous! Don't miss it if you rent this property...definitely a highlight of our entire trip! You will not be disappointed by this property. We highly recommend it!"

  • Great Place to Stay

"We had been to Casa de Campo prior to this visit - and able to compare this villa to our first villa. This villa gave us a positive experience our entire trip. The owner Douglas Fox was accommodating and extremely professional. The pool is salt - our preference since it is better for you and your bathing suit. The jacuzzi - excellent. Anna and Johnny - always smiling and friendly - good english - wonderful meals - we are particular about our food and Anna adjusted her cooking to please us daily. Many villas do not offer laundry services but Anna tends to the laundry daily and nicely folds. The area is perfect - very close to the beach and not far from the hotel and right on Teeth of the dog golf course (the finest of 3 golf courses in Casa de Campo). Decor has a native tropical feel - master bedroom is separate from the house with an outdoor garden shower - nice bonus! If a cute little cat wonders around the pool - our son named him Bacon - since he seemed to enjoy a treat of bacon. You cannot go wrong with this villa!"

  • DR vacation

"We truly enjoyed our trip to the DR. The unit we stayed in was beautifully decorated and clean. It had all the comforts of home. The pool was clean and warm and the grounds were well done. The ocean waves splashing the shore were relaxing as we sat on the balcony. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Resort Property in Dominican Republic

"The villa was a good home base from which to enjoy some beautiful sunshine and welcome warm temperatures at the tail end of winter. Mike, our VRBO host, was a very responsive guide to life there, too. The resort offers some lovely features - apparently amazing golf, a sandy beach, 2 large pools, and plenty of additional activities. It is a gated community so you are walled off from day to day life in the DR which is both good and bad. We took a trip to La Romana but there was not a lot to be seen. Altos de Chavon, on the property, is beautiful but filled with tour bus visitors. The true down side for our large group, though - and something we were clearly unprepared for - was the additional expenses that came with almost anything we wanted to do. Golf for 3 was quoted at just under $800. Breakfast buffet at the Lago Restaurant, $40 per head. Dinners at property restaurants ran to at least $80 per person. Skeet shooting, horse back riding, even access to the gym all carried pretty heft price tags. Ouch. Unfortunately, it put a lid on our ability and willingness to sign up for too much. The only down side to the villa was the internet service which was often missing or extremely slow. Otherwise, it was very comfortable and equipped. A good time away but buyer do beware. The villa seems so reasonably, price-wise (and it is!). Just make sure you account for everything else."
